I had a great time at Ariane’s super cute house! I felt cozy and comfortable, immediately, and Ariane was a lovely host. Very nice, and very responsive. I LOVED the art on the walls, and if you’re a fan of luxurious and serene baths, you’ll think you’ve died and gone to heaven. Absolutely gorgeous setup. She’s located in a friendly neighborhood in West Seattle, close to shopping and restaurants, and I’m going to highly recommend the West Seattle Fish House for great fish & chips (and very good onion rings). Also close by is The Habit for pretty tasty burgers & fries. I think they’re a local chain, but I’d never tried them before. Same price as a Wendy’s, but soooo much better. And last, but not least, is the easy-to-care-for Reggie. It did take a day or two to gain his trust, but over time, we fell into a pretty reliable rhythm. Pro tip: Bring your laser and some yarn. Reggie likes playing laser, but he loooves playing with string or yarn. Overall, a great sit I would definitely recommend. I would absolutely come back! :-)
We have just spent the last 2+ weeks housesitting for Lucinda and Henry in their beautiful Wargrave home. We bonded quickly we gorgeous Pidge and Fluffly and had such a wonderful time being their adopted parents. Pidge came out for lots of walks and car trips with us... He is so well behaved and even off the lead in rural settings always stayed close and obeyed. He's a bit anxious around other dogs so we always have them a wide berth and he loved exploring. What a gorgeous family we were lucky enough to meet and become firm friends with for life. Gorgeous home to stay in with very welcoming and supportive neighbours ***** It was a total pleasure and would be a joy to return one day *****
I had a wonderful Christmas in Radlett taking care of Darcy and Woody. I'd highly recommend this house sit for anyone who is looking for a homely stay with great company of two very sweet, loving and playful doggos! As mentioned by others who were lucky to meet the gorgeous twosome, Darcy and Woody have very different, yet complimentary spirits. Darcy looks out for Woody as though he were her son, and Woody immediately brings you into the family with his incredible warmth. The two of them are fabulous together! We went on gorgeous walks - or rather they showed me the sights! Following a gander the two would play and we'd rest for the day with cuddles galore. The doggos reflect the warmth of the family. Amanda and David were so lovely and welcoming in my arrival, taking the time to help me get acclimatised the evening prior to the sit (including setting a beautiful Christmas tree!) despite a very early departure for them the following morning. Across the sit itself, Amanda was super responsive if I had any queries which was much appreciated. Not to mention Radlett itself - very well located for West London, with a beautiful village mere minutes away. A ten out of ten sit. Indeed, I hope to sit for the family again in future :)
Amelie is a sweet cat. She is vocal so you have to learn to decipher her meows - it’s either treats, affection or going outside. The cottage has a wonderful waterfront setting and has everything you need with comfortable beds.
I thoroughly enjoyed my sit at Laura's home. Her house is very beautiful and cozy and is located in a very picturesque area of Anchorage. It is an easy drive into the city and has many close hiking options. Lula, Peyton, and Septimus are great animals and fun to be around. If you are an outdoors person - this is the sit for you! Laura provided a very thorough walkthrough of her home and her animal's routines and it was very helpful. I really enjoyed all aspects of this sit and would go back in a heartbeat!
My husband and I loved this sit. Gina is terrific, her home is in a great spot, and it was clean and tidy when we arrived. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen had all the amenities you need for a longer stay. And, last but not the least, was the precious Kingston. He is 100% adorable, good-natured, and so easy to care for. We enjoyed it so much we'd be more than happy to sit for Gina/Kingston again.
