We have been taking our Australian Shepherd, Leo, to Camp K9 for grooming with Tabby for 3 years. She is always professional and attentive to our requests and Leo’s needs. Leo loves going to see Tabby and wiggles his nub when we mention her name at home. He always comes home looking and smelling amazing. She is truly a master of her craft.
We live in Milwaukee and happily make the two-hour round trip to Madison before every flight just to bring our dog to Camp K9 for overnight boarding. That’s how much we love this place! The team is incredible—caring, attentive, and always mindful of each dog’s size and temperament. Our 11.5-year-old dog, Chase, comes back happy after every stay, and it’s clear they truly love what they do. We get the SWEETEST text updates and report cards after his stay. We’re so grateful for everyone at Camp K9! The best of the best.
Update: Decker has so much fun with all the other pupswhen he goes to Camp k9. I love the staff as they are always upbeat, kind and loving to Decker!! Definitely recommend! My pup, Decker, had a great first day! He met so many friends! I am so glad that he got in there!!!
We’ve been getting our three big doodles groomed at Camp K9 with Tabby for years and we could not be happier. Two of our dogs are especially anxious and Tabby is so, so good with them, we can’t imagine bringing them anywhere else. We also love that the dogs get breaks from grooming throughout the day and have a space to relax and rest. In the office, the drop off and pick up is always quick and easy. We highly recommend Camp K9 for any grooming needs.
Camp K9 staff take exceptional care of our dogs. There are so many options for activities. Our older dog gets nature walks, while our young dog has 1/2 day play time with other dogs. They have a walk-out patio and grassy area right outside their "room". Highly recommend.
First time taking our pups for a groom. We’ve been searching and trying out different groomers that are quality for a reasonable cost. It’s taken an handful to finally find the one! Our experience was great! Super easy scheduling, easy drop off, and easy pick up. Very helpful and caring to our pups. One is blind and diabetic and we get very nervous about his care. They were understanding, made notes, and truly seemed invested in his well being. Happy to have finally found our new groomer!
I can not say enough wonderful things about this staff. They are amazing with the dogs in their care. Adler, my dog, is always excited to go. The staff is even better with the humans. They have been wonderful with my one million and one questions, and understanding about my anxiety leaving my dog somewhere. They are very kind and considerate. Bonus: they live stream the day care play areas so you can check on your dog to reassure yourself they are ok, or as a pick me up while working (or both).
Our dog loves seeing his groomer, Tabby! She takes great care of him, has great communication with us and she loves him! They are very flexible with our schedule and he is always excited to get groomed. We know he is well taken care of and his groom always looks great.

Lola loves going to Camp K-9. She gets very excited when we get there. She comes home tired and relaxed. We enrolled her there so she can play with other dogs and is socialized. Camp K-9 is meeting and exceeding our expectations. The staff is very friendly, facility is very clean, and it is well managed.
Best kennel we’ve been to in the Madison area (we’ve tried several big name ones from Middleton to Madison). Dogs were happy and clean and the staff is amazing. It’s a beautiful setting just outside of Madison. Can’t go wrong boarding your dogs here.
Very helpful staff, were able to squeeze us in last minute, very reasonable pricing (including for upgrades), and every dog checking in at the same time as us seemed beyond excited to be there! 100% recommend

Our two dogs do great here! Dustin is friendly, professional, and very knowledgeable about dogs, especially hunting breeds. Beautiful, clean facility on a lovely piece of land. Dogs get to go in and outside during the day as they please! We love Cherokee Kennels and will continue to use and recommend to others.
I am a first time dog mom to my rescue dog, Buddy. He is a cattle dog mix- so doesn’t do too well in a large play group setting (herding instincts kick in). This is why I love Cherokee kennels!! I love that they do small group play. The staff is so nice and even though we’ve only boarded a couple times so far, I feel comfortable leaving buddy there. He is so excited when we pull in!
We boarded our dogs here multiple times while we travel and love love love their services. The owner is super sweet and our dogs always look well taken care of when we picked them up.
I take my dog for daycare once a week (minimum!) and board him when I am out of town. He absolutely loves it and is excited to go back anytime I say "daycare". He comes home tired and oh so happy!! Could not recommend them enough, great people and super reliable!!
Julie is great with our senior cat. She sends daily updates and pics and we always feel comfortable knowing he is being taken care of by her. Julie also brings in the mail, waters our plants and fills the outdoor bird feeders. We definitely recommend her!
We have booked Julie as a cat sitter for the past couple of years for our two cats and have been pleased with her services. She does a free initial visit to get the lay of the land and meet the pets. Her app is very user friendly - you can book there, get daily photos/updates, and pay invoices easily. Her rates are reasonable. She is conscientious about following our cats' feeding schedules, cleaning litter boxes, cleaning up any pet messes, and watering plants/checking mail while you're away. I would recommend her to anyone looking for pet sitting services.
We've been requesting Julie's services for almost 2 years and I truly cannot say enough great things!! She sticks to our cat's feeding schedule and routine which is so appreciated since we all know our pets internal alarm clock on when to eat is crucial to them! We get prompt updates in the app (which is also super user friendly and easy to pay/communicate through) the updates include photos for each visit, which we love. It's what I look most forward to when waking up while we are away. Most importantly I never feel judged by Julie when I leave all of my (probably) overly detailed instructions because it's the best way to cope with my anxiety of leaving my sweet girl. We always come back to a clean litter box, happy cat, and our house the way we left it. I absolutely trust Julie with our cat and in our home.
