Danny and Jo were a perfect fit for our house/dog. Extremely self-sufficient and flexible. Learn how to ride a snowmobile to access our house in the winter? No problem. Following more complicated-than-usual procedures during a winter stay (beginning with a 3-day blizzard)? Flawless. Regular updates on the pooch? The pictures made us envious. The dog actually seemed slightly depressed for a couple days after they left. Ia'm really glad they were able to hang out for dinner when we returned -- these are some pretty inspiring people. Highly recommend this couple.

Patricia
This was another wonderful sit…Patricia & Bob were most gracious hosts!

The accommodations were first-rate, and the duties for the pets quite light…Roo is especially affectionate and I will miss him dearly; Tuk is equally friendly, and really loves his treats!

The location is close to both Chestermere, and the major city of Calgary, so lots of things to keep you occupied!

Highly recommended!

teta
This was my first sit for Norman and Teta , and I certainly hope it’s not my last !

They welcomed me into their beautiful home and I had an excellent verbal handover, backed up with everything in hard copy . Communication before and during my stay with Teta was excellent

The apartment is within the main building but totally separate , and was lovely and really warm , despite the chilly weather . The views are amazing and it’s so peaceful and tranquil there.

Jumble is a total gentleman and a delight. He stayed with me in the apartment as it was so cold , and I hardly knew he was there. He walked beautifully on the lead , and when off always stayed in view of me. He waits at all junctions for you , to see which way we are going , and behaved impeccably at lunch at the local pub . The woods on the doorstep are fantastic with a real choice of good long walks and so lovely to see all the deer and very few other people there.

The ducks and chickens are very well behaved and noisily but easily went back into their house at the end of everyday , plus supplied me with lots of eggs. And the sheep were happy just to be counted !

I would certainly recommend this sit, and would love to be lucky enough to be invited back in the future .

Florence
Our first experience at Trusted House Sitters could not have been better. Florence is a great person, good communication, very understanding, kind and willing to help us in everything. Always open to answering any questions and willing to share all her things with us. Her apartment is very cozy and with everything you need to be comfortable. Very well it located and communicated. Cats, really adorable and easy to care for. In short, we cannot ask for more in our first experience as sitters. Thank you very much Florence for giving us our first opportunity. It has been a pleasure meeting you.

Kobie
Finn was a beautiful, well-disciplined, easy going and cute boy I have ever met. He was a perfect companion: in the house, he would stay close to me and love to have my companionship while he was playing.
When we were out, he was fantastic on leash and followed my pace while walking or jogging. He did not pull or move abruptly.
The house and the neighbourhood were so lovely and Kobie had all the required information on the welcome guide and it made no hassle to get reference if in doubt.
Finn is the first American Bulldog that I know and I already in love with this breed because of Finn.
