Adam was amazing! He was really responsive and kept our dogs’ normal schedule while we were gone for 7 days. One of our dogs can be slow to warm up to people and she loved him immediately! He sent us updates and sent photos daily which we really loved! He was super understanding and easy going with the key hand off and left our apartment cleaner than when we left. Adam was truly awesome and we didn’t worry about our pets for one second while he was with them. We will 100% be inviting Adam back in the future to sit with our pups again!
We really enjoyed our stay at Debbi and Etienne’s. It started well when they invited us over for dinner and then left us with some food to help us settle in. Communication and instructions were all clear throughout. And we were glad to be encouraged to use their outdoor BBQ and bar area, even in November, it was a lot of fun! The cats were great fun to take care of too, with their own very unique personalities, even if it takes a while to figure out which one is which! We were there so long that we felt we really bonded with them and were sad to leave. Thanks again for everything!
We spend a really great time in Jonathan’s home. He is a wonderful, easy going and very kind person. We felt like in home. The house is perfect, comfortable and spacious. The dogs are lovely, affectioned and always ready to play. We really enjoyed our walks through the woods with them. We will remember this as a great experience and love to come back and visit our new friends. Thank you again Jon and hope to see you soon!
I had the most wonderful time sitting for Billy. What a charming dog, perfectly well behaved and very sweet and good-natured. Easy to walk off-lead with excellent recall. Young with tons of energy, Billy is the perfect companion on long adventures or just short walks through the village where he is very popular with all the neighbors. Braithwaite is a fantastic location with tons of trails all around that you and Billy will have a delightful time exploring. The Lake District is one of the most scenic places I’ve ever been and I can’t wait to go back. You’re also just s couple miles from Keswick with a great movie theater, restaurants, coffee shops, and pubs. Peter’s house is also a treat to stay in. Homey, spacious, a perfectly appointed brand-new kitchen that I had such fun cooking in, and a gorgeous bathroom and relaxing tub to soak in post-hiking through the fells. I felt like I was staying at a resort and not in someone’s home. Would come back in a heartbeat.

Ashley was lovely and very welcoming. We had a good chat with her before and she shared with us a very thorough Google doc with everything we needed to know. The house is nice and in a good safe location in Oaxaca, and really close to a huge supermarket. It is about 30 mins to the start of the Centro area if walking and about 50 if you want to go down to the mercardo 20 November but totally do able. There are lots of buses too. The cats are lovely and easy to look after. They have very distinct personalities but are all great. They are on a raw food diet which is a bit more work than just biscuits/ tins but Ashley had prepared this all for us and had written an easy guide to breakdown what to do in the morning/ afternoon. The cats are kept in overnight when it gets dark and due to this the house can get very hot as there aren't many doors/ windows with fly screens where you can leave the door open but keep the cats in. Thankfully there is Aircon in the bedroom which is needed. Lovely hot shower. We did have the water run out whilst we were there but Ashley sorted this really quickly and it wasn't a problem in the end. Ashley and Lucas were very communicative through the stay via what's app. Would recommend this sit for a nice time with some lovely cats in Oaxaca.
Lauréanne and Francois gave us an overview via video call. So we had all informations, saw the cats and got a tour through the beautiful house. For parents with children it would be great because it's so childfriendly. Everything worked wonderfull when we arrived. We found everything as discussed. Even we have got a welcome gift! Chachon is a very lovable, gentle, affectionate cat. She purred a lot while we were there and was very happy. Ptit Bou was reluctant at first. He loves dry food and so we were able to win him over quickly! He is an active cat who goes slot outside. The beautiful area with lots of forest and meadows invited us for hiking. We went on trips every day. Communication with Lauréanne via SMS worked well. They were also very generous as I unfortunately broke something. Many thanks to Lauréanne and Francois! We have been very slowed down during the 4 days! We can really recommend the sit for Lauréanne with Chachon and Ptit Bou
