It was such a pleasure to housesit for Amy and look after the beautiful labradors, Asia and Lucca as well as the two pigs, ducks and hens. The house is warm, well equipped, very comfortable with a fantastic cosy bed. Amy and Henry are in the final stages of the house remodelling and coupled with a large garden are turning it into a fabulous family home. Communication with Amy was excellent and even though it was her first time using THS the welcome guide was comprehensive. We loved playing in the large garden with the dogs and they were happy just to spend time with us. We were able to enjoy fresh fruit and veg from the garden along with eggs from the ducks and hens during our stay. The house is located in lovely countryside and with Norwich a short distance away, it is a great area in which to explore. Our weekend sit was very enjoyable and over far too quickly, hopefully we will have the opportunity to return some day. Highly recommend this sit.
We spent 10 days in Samantha's house, the home is very comfortable, the neighborhood is very quiet, there are some bars, places to eat and supermarkets near the house. Leo, What can we say about him? We cry when we left home, we felt in love with him. He is very companion, affectionate, playful, quiet and polite. Without hesitation, we would take care of him again.
This was my first stay and it couldn't be better. Buddy and Daisy Mae are very well behaved and sweet dogs, I enjoyed their company at home and during our walks around the neighborhood. They respond well to the leash and the requirements are easy to follow. Mary and Mary were very attentive to me, so I definitely felt at home there! The house is lovely, with a terrace and garden to enjoy breakfast outside if the weather is nice, and a very comfortable space (bedroom and bathroom) for the sitter. I got around by public transportation, and found it quite easy to get to Oakland (by bus) and San Francisco (bus + bart). Several bus options to/from Oakland and bart make it easy, and the bus stops are 0.3-0.6 miles from the house (5-10 minute walk). The neighborhood is quiet and I felt safe walking there with dogs or alone. I hope I'll have more opportunities to care for these two sweethearts <3

Emily is a wonderful host. The house, when we arrived was spotless. She even left us some goodies which was lovely. Allie and Merlow were a handful. Merlow, being a puppy, wanted to challenge our authority at the very beginning, but we soon overcame this and he became very affectionate. Alfie likes to bark but this is usually when he wants or needs something. Otherwise he’s happy to chill on his little corner of the sofa. Both of the boys liked to wake up very early and didn’t want to go back to sleep! They also both love to sniff and try to eat everything on walks, which meant we had to be very strict and focused the whole time we were out with them, to make sure they didn’t eat nasty things that could hurt them. It was much easier being 2 of us on this sit, mostly for the walks so we could each take one of the boys and keep an eye on their cheeky eating habits! Would definitely recommend for those with experience with spaniels.
Michael and Helene were wonderful hosts throughout my stay in Heidelberg. Their two pups are absolute sweethearts -- very eager to get to know "new friends" and fun to take on short walks. Michael and Helene were very relaxed but thorough in their instructions when needed (so helpful!). I would absolutely recommend this experience in such a beautiful place -- thank you for the opportunity!
