Dog Sitters in Matlock

Louise and her daughter looked after our cat and house for a weekend and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them! They were very friendly, and clearly won over our notoriously suspicious cat easily! They were very organised, great at communicating and the house was immaculate when we came home. Thank you!

Shauna and Mark and their children were really lovely. Very organised and were fantastic with our animals. They sent me updates to let me know how the dogs were getting on while I was away, which was very reassuring. I would recommend them as housesitters.

Heather and Tom looked after our house, dog, cats, bantams and sheep for two weeks and we returned to a clean tidy house and a very contented menagerie who had all clearly been well looked after. Communication before during and after the sit was all very easy and we would be very happy to have them return and sit for them again.

Stephanie was brilliant all round, great to meet with and great with our English Setter Freddie. She gained his confidence almost immediately and he clearly had some wonderful walks with her. She happily shared her bedroom with him too. Stephanie left the house so tidy and even stripped her bed and washed the bed linen! We have already asked Stephanie to sit for Freddie again. Deborah and Luke were fantastic sitters - incredibly communicative, easy to talk to, and most importantly, genuinely seemed to care for Freyja :o) She's a shy kitty, but they really went that extra mile to get her to come out of our shell. Our house was spotless when we came home. We'd love to have them come sit again anytime!

Teresa and Mark were just great! They travelled down the day before we left as we were going early and spent time with us and the animals before we set off, so we felt happy very leaving everything in their hands. We had regular updates from Teresa while we were away, and they coped very well with everything, even a storm with gale force winds, and one of the dogs needing to start on new medication while we weren’t there. We returned home to a lovely tidy house, happy animals and a delicious home cooked meal - such a treat! Were already looking forward to seeing Teresa and Mark again in October :)

Megan and Amanda were absolutely top notch Petsitters for our furry family of four! They kept us updated with sweet photos & video, and it was clear that our two pups & two cats loved them—-they could often be found snuggled up on or next to them. We were also so happy that we got to have some nice time together before we departed on our travels. Megan & Amanda are both so warm, kind, funny & interesting humans, with great energy. I hope very much that our paths will cross again. In short, we would very highly recommend them for any pet or home sits!

Lucy and her son Daniel were so kind, communicative and helpful. They showed real affection for Skye and we enjoyed meeting them.

Thanks so much Sophie. Sophie looked after our dogs and house so well and we wouldn't hesitate in having her back or recommending for other sits. The dogs had a wonderful time and just getting over the disappointment of Sophie going back home!

Unfortunately I didn’t get to meet Laura and Simon in person as my daughter did the handover but Laura had communicated in advance about time of arrival etc so all was good. I had great updates of the family whilst they were here looking after Zulu and Clova and i think they had some lovely walks in the surrounding countryside with some friends of Laura’s who live close by. It was lovely to come home to all the sheets and towels washed and drying on the line and the biscuits, chocs and welcome home card were very much appreciated. I am glad the children gained confidence being with the dogs and I hope that the experience will set them up for meeting and living with other dogs in the future. Thank you all for looking after the dogs and house so well.

Would highly recommend Kay to look after your pets and home. Would definitely have Kay back. Doggies very well looked after. They loved the trip to the beach. Contact was very good. Definitely a 10/10 from us.

Rosemary and her family were the perfect house and pet sitters. Penny and Copper were treated like royalty and the house was so clean and tidy once we got home! Rosemary kept in touch with lots of photos of the dogs on SO many adventures. We’d love to have them back anytime! Thank you!
