Drizzle and Wallis are some of the sweetest, most well-behaved cats I've ever met! Both were friendly and curious as soon as I'd arrived. Drizzle alerted me with regular meows for meal time, consuming her kibble and treats with gusto. She frequently naps on her owners' bed, and follows me around for pets and lap time; it's fun to witness her night-time zoomies. Wallis spends most of the day and evening outdoors, then returns home to dine and snuggle/sleep in the CUTEST positions! Her distinctive "meow" grows more urgent as her wet food is prepared. Both tolerated periodic brushings, and were intermittently entertained by chasing their mice toys. Tom and Kate are superb hosts and communicators - before, during, and after my sit. They welcomed me with a gorgeous bouquet of flowers, a thoughtful and thorough care guide for their pets and home, and a clean, comfortable, inviting, and quiet environment. They generously allowed me use of their car - a gas-efficient sedan that I'd aptly named Jellybean - which made my LA excursions possible! Though they were busy with travel, they regularly responded to my texts and informed me of all necessary updates. They've invited me back to stay with Drizzle & Wallis again - I'm SO looking forward to it! It is a true joy to care for stellar cats, and to work with attentive pet owners and great hosts.
