What a lovely family and a lovely home. If you like sweet dogs and a relaxed environment this is the sit for you. Simon and Anne received me in their rustic house with all the comforts I could ask. The village that they live in is small and quiet and everybody is super friendly. Bow Ragz and Indie had their own different personality but each one of them is a heartwarming dog. They really like to play and also have their relaxed moments. Easy dogs to take care of. Highly recommend it and for sure we will meet again! Thank you for eveything
Carmel and Catherine were so friendly and generous, and made sure that we were comfortable in their home. Millie is one of the cuddliest, sweetest dogs I've ever met and I'm definitely going to miss laying on the sofa with her every night!
I miss Bowie, Phina and Luna daily! The sweetest pets. Michael and Brian are great communicators and made me feel right at home. Having a car to give you access to the mountains or downtown Denver is a big key. Would stay again many more times for their precious fur babies.
I had a really good time looking after Poppy and Skippy- they are both so adorable. Poppy loved being cuddled but Skippy is a bit more independent. Karensa left me clear and detailed instructions & also sent me helpful videos before my stay. I was easily able to message her if I had any questions. Karensa has a lovely clean comfortable home and generously offered to get me some groceries which I appreciated.
Unfortunately, I do not recommend this petsit. S’more’s and Shelly are extremely sweet kitties however I don’t feel that the apartment was clean. When I arrived , the tub in the bathroom would drain very slowly so during showers and for about 40 minutes post shower the tub would be filled with used shower water. This made me very uncomfortable. In addition, I was told the cats didn’t have any special health issues but one of the cats had a digestive issue that caused frequent vomiting so I would often find vomit on the bed, couch, carpet and blanket. I did not feel valued as petsitter and would not accept this petsit again.
I am not one to leave bad reviews but since Stephanie left me a terrible review without messaging me about the issues I feel the need to defend myself. The dogs play fight on leash, and they lunge after other dogs making walking and going down the elevator a night mare. It was raining the whole weekend so it was hard to take them on 4 walks a day which is what a german shepard needs. They peed due to me not being able to take them out in the rain and I was blamed for this. Dogsitting is not easy when you are in an apartment with a big dog and its raining the whole weekend. I sent pictures everyday and tried my best to take them out as much as possible. This sit was so much work and I just wish Stephanie understood this before writing such a terrible review.
