Sunny is a great walking partner and takes you on several walks a day through beautiful trails. She also enjoys the lovely back deck as much as you will! Great home, neighborhood and owners. All details for the care of Sunny and her home were provided well in advance by Sue making the sit peaceful, easy and enjoyable.
This was a great housesit from beginning to end. I had a video call with Kate before the sit. Right away, I got the sense that she was a warm, kind and friendly person. She instantly put me at ease, and was happy to answer any questions I had about Luna. This was also the case during the sit. Any time I had a question about Luna or about the house, Kate was just a text message away. Kate's home is beautiful and tidy, and is very conveniently located in an exciting part of Bristol. I enjoyed several very comfortable sleeps there! I'm used to living in a semi-rural area where restaurant/takeaway options, etc. are limited... so I was quite amazed and excited by the sheer variety of food options here! And as for Luna... She is a lovely little cat with a heart-meltingly cute face! She has a very calm and placid personality. By the second night of my stay, she was sleeping in my room with me. We spent a wonderful Sunday watching movies together, and I enjoyed giving her head/chin scratches while she purred away. I would happily look after her again. 😊
Great location with lots of fun places to eat nearby, clean/cosy space, and friendly/cuddly cat. Andrew was easy to reach if I had questions and made sure I had everything I needed to take care of Loki.
We had a fantastic time housesitting for Clare and Fred! Mew Mew is a really gorgeous cat, super friendly and affectionate and simply a delight to be around. She was shy at first but quickly got used to us. We miss her so much already! The apartment is really nice, clean and spacious with a gorgeous pool and gym facilities. It's also very conveniently located - just across the road is a Jaya grocer supermarket, which has pretty much everything you need and there are lots of shops and restaurants nearby. A short walk away is another shopping mall, 1 Mont Kiara, which has more shops and another supermarket. You are spoilt for choice really! Clare and Fred left clear instructions on how to take care of Mew Mew and were in regular contact with us for the duration of the house sit. We really enjoyed this assignment and would be happy to take it on again!
Allie is a joy to take care of, playful and friendly. She liked hanging out with me most of the time, except when she was out and about in the woods. Lauranell and Gary are the most wonderful hosts, generous and accommodating and made me feel right at home. They communicated clearly and gave me a tour of the house and went over all I needed to know. I had everything I needed and really enjoyed my stay there. The house was so clean and the large windows and views from the house are amazing. The garden had some of the sweetest tomatoes I’ve ever had. Gary built the house and I enjoyed the craftsmanship in everything. There were a lot of wild deer, turkeys, squirrels, dragonflies, and hummingbirds, and hawks as well as many other birds. They have a book for birdwatching and binoculars. There was hiking nearby and the ocean is just a 10-15 minute drive. The plants are mostly on a drip system, so it was a manageable amount of watering of the plants that weren’t on the drip. The guest room and bathroom are lovely, spacious, and beautiful. Everything was organized and easy to find. I would highly recommend this pet sit and hosts. Thank you Lauranell, Gary and Allie for a memorable and fun stay!
Our visit to Catherine's house ends and there are no words for this magnificent experience. Catherine is an incredibly kind person, from the minute one she makes you feel at home, she picked us up at the station, she made us a delicious dinner and she was always very aware of us. Olive is a beautiful, tender dog who enjoys the company. The walks through the countryside in front of Catherine's house are incredible, it's a dream, a little piece of heaven on earth, where you can disconnect and enjoy nature, together with Olive who enjoys freedom. Catherine's house is beautiful, it has everything you need, it is also connected to the city of Tonbridge with the 7 bus. Without a doubt we would return a thousand times, the peace and tranquility that is enjoyed with Catherine is unique. Thank you very much for everything, we carry you in our hearts.
