Rachel sat for our two dogs and two kittens for our first post Covid vaccine trip! We had planned to be away for 6 days, and advertised the sit as such, but then after Rachel had accepted, we realized we could take a few extra days if she was able to stay longer. And being the flexible person she is, Rachel agreed to the change of plans. She was attentive to the pets (we could tell how much they liked her right off the bat), send texts and pictures almost daily to update us on feeding, walks, etc. She took the dogs to their favorite walking trails in her car several times, which was most kind. I was extremely impressed with the consideration and care she gave both us and our home. In a phone call the day before we were due home she asked if she could go into our “wing” of the house to check for any surprises that the kittens might have left and she mentioned some scratches that she’d noticed on a door frame and worried they might have been caused during her stay. I reassured her they were the work of other cats who are no longer with us, and was impressed with her thoroughness and concern for our home. She was communicative, neat, left the house as clean as she found it, and took excellent care of all our pets. I recommend her without reservation. Thank you Rachel for your TLC to both pets and home! We will welcome you back any time.

Timm is as amazing as all his reviews say! He just wrapped up looking after our labradoodles, Buttons and Cookie, while we were living it up in Italy for 10 days. We got daily doses of cuteness with photos and videos of our fur babies, which made our trip even more enjoyable knowing they were in such great hands.

Timm is super organized and detail-oriented. From our first Zoom call, it was clear he’s a true dog lover and a seasoned sitter. He asked all the right questions about Cookie and Buttons' routines, likes, dislikes, meals, and treats. A week before our trip, Timm came over for an evening walk to bond with the pups and get familiar with our neighborhood. After that, we had zero worries.

I highly recommend Timm! Thanks for doing such a fantastic job, Timm! The doodles already miss you!

Danielle
Danielle and Lalo are great hosts. The communication was easy. Danielle left me clear instructions with all the details for my stay, which was very helpful when I had doubts. The apartment is beautiful, cozy, with Victorian architecture, natural light, a super comfortable bed, and everything was very clean when I arrived. As for the location, it’s central, with various cafes and shops that you will love. It’s easy to access public transportation, so you can move around the city with easily.
The Coopers are adorable. Mr. Cooper is a loving and curious cat. He loves being cuddle and is very independent. Cooper sometimes is restless despite his age. 😊 He loves mealtime. His daily walks help him relax. Both are lovely and easy to take care of.
Danielle & Lalo seemed like a kind and hospitable couple. Thank you very much for this experience, and I hope to return soon.

Scott & Nancy
Scott and Nancy are wonderful hosts. They drove us all around Asheville highlighting all that the area has to offer. They are both very accommodating.
Their home is beautifully landscaped and we enjoyed playing with Arlo and Finn in their fenced in backyard and sitting in their comfortable outdoor chairs watching the birds coming to their feeder.
They have a well appointed kitchen and home surrounded by lovely plants.
We loved walking their well behaved dogs in their hilly, wooded neighborhood.
It was just so good to witness the younger Arlo sit and wait for Finn who is 13 but still does very well on the walks. Both dogs are sweet and playful and well trained.
We look forward to pet sit for Scott and Nancy’s Arlo and Finn again anytime.

Mees & Pim
What a pleasure to babysit Skye. It really is a super sweet, sociable and sometimes somewhat mischievous and funny cat that enjoys your presence. Even though she doesn't lie on your lap, she really likes to be with you and the care is really easy. The apartment is ideal as a base for discovering Copenhagen and Mees and Pim are really pleasant hosts. Contact was easy and they are willing to help with anything and think along where possible. Mees even picked me up from the airport! This was my first experience through this platform, but if it always goes like this, I hope there will certainly be more animal and house sitting opportunities for me!

Meg
We absolutely loved house sitting for Meg and Sandy. Their dog Zoe was a dream. She is playful yet obedient and well trained. They provided detailed instruction making it a breeze. They have a beautiful and very comfortable home near many lovely bike paths that we thoroughly enjoyed. We definitely miss sweet Zoe!

Paula
I can't recommend this sit highly enough! Paulie is an exceptional host, so welcoming and kind. She communicated all of Rocco's needs clearly both before and during my stay. The house is located in Newhaven, a beautiful green town next to the beach where I enjoyed taking Rocco for walks. It's also close to Brighton, making it a perfect opportunity to explore the countryside.
As for Rocco—he is the cutest dog ever! We truly bonded. He has a gentle personality and looks (and behaves) like a small teddy bear. I loved spending time with him. Despite his old age, he is very active and still seems like a puppy :)
Thank you, Paulie, for hosting me!
I really hope to have the chance to visit again.

Michael
Sitting for Alfie and George was a pleasure. Alfie was understandably vocal on our arrival, guarding his home and owner, but he soon settled and became very friendly. George is quite a nervous dog and took a bit longer to win over but by the end of our sit he was the most cuddly for sure! They are both very big and strong dogs so walking them on the lead requires a strong hand. They were very happy at home and enjoyed going into the garden. Michael was very welcoming and friendly and his communication was great from the beginning. The house is lovely, modern and homely in a very nice quiet area. We thank Michael and Alana for choosing us to house sit for them.
