Livia and Calac were terrific house & pet sitters. They are reliable, clear, thoughtful, and self-sufficient. They made sure they understood things about each of our pets before the sit started, and they communicated well with us during the week we were away. Our dog immediately took to them, and our shy cat started appearing on the second day which made them very happy (and us too). The house looked great upon our return and the animals were very well cared for. We highly recommend them and would happily use them again.
I had a fantastic time at Heidi and Todd’s beautiful home! I cant say enough about how great of host Todd and Heidi are! All the kitties have amusing, fun and sweet personalities! They were so fun to play with and Heidi has an easy schedule to follow. The instructions were easy to follow for the house and the cats. Everything is perfectly set up for happy cats. Kitty condos to unique cat shelves, high quality food, toys and even the litter...these cats are well loved! I loved taking care of her babies, the full belly rubs Sidney enjoys and the playfulness of Sierra to the shy, yet full of personality, Eli! The house is situated in a great area. Close to everything yet still private and safe. The lagoon and walking trails and views were very enjoyable. The hot tub was awesome and no maintenance. I loved her spacious kitchen with a great cooktop and bedroom has a very comfy adjustable king size bed. Also they have a maid service! Very little for me to have to clean when it was time to leave! Heidi communicated well with me before, during and after the sit even though she was in Africa and the coronavirus broke out during the sit. Their house and kitties are so nice I didn't mind stay in place order at all! couldn’t have asked for more understanding, generous and accommodating host! I was given all sorts of ideas of what to do and how to get there. They provided everything I needed and more! I would love to sit again for them anytime! Thank you! Mary

I had the best time looking after Jambo for a little over a week. He is such a sweet dog and so well behaved. He is full of energy and loves his walks twice a day, then when at home he just wants to be close to you and will always be somewhere nearby. The location of the home is amazing, it is so quiet and peaceful, and the landscape is absolutely stunning. Jerome’s home is simple but comfortable and I had everything I needed. The town is not too far away and it is generally a lovely part of the world to visit. Jerome is very friendly, communicates well and was super welcoming of me into his home. I would happily go back to look after Jambo any time and highly recommend for others who like a quiet, remote area where you can get out into nature.
I really enjoy this sit. Caring for little Aggie was a delight. Although she was abit timid at the start once she got to know me we were great friends. She is a dear little thing and would love to play and if I was sat on the sofa she would sit very close to me and purr her heart out. I've sat for many cats and she is one of the sweetest I've met Although I never met Hilary, she made sure I had everything I needed so that I felt welcome. She also left me a ticket that she had for a string quartet concert which I went to and it was beautiful Frome is such a wonderful place to visit and I especially loved the church and little boutiques. Thanks again for a lovely stay Hilary and Aggie xx
Helen was lovely and video called to give us all the information we could need and answer any questions we had. She was really friendly and extremely helpful and accommodating. The house was beautiful with all the Christmas decorations up, which were gorgeous, and had everything you could need for a comfortable sit. Then the main part which was of course Maggie and Muffin! Maggie was the cutest little baby who welcomed us immediately with licks and cuddles. She loved attention and playing with her toys and we fell in love with her. Muffin liked a few stokes initially but joined us on our laps for cuddles on our 2nd day. We saw Cookie in the evening to let her in for the night and something to eat and then let her out again in the morning as she was primarily an outdoor cat. Would happily sit again and recommend this sit to anyone!
I had a wonderful time with Kalu. Pier’s apartment is lovely and a perfect setup for a solo traveler. The guest room is full of light and has a comfortable work station for working remotely. There is also great closet space, which isn’t always common for NY apartments. Kalu is a sweet and happy dog - full of energy and obsessed with the park. We went to the park daily and he was so well behaved with the other pups, even if they would take his ball from time to time. Kalu is a big guy and gets really excited on the leash when he knows the park is the destination. Pier prepared me for this which was so helpful. I definitely got a bit of an arm workout in the morning keeping him close on the leash, but for other walks throughout the day he was a dream! Pier has done a great job of training him and she is very detailed with her instructions. I hope to sit for them again in the future!
