Hannah was such a lovely sitter! She took such great care of your boys and kept us updated she also was super sweet and thoughtful, she took out trash and cleaned our bedding without us asking, she also baked us something special which was so amazing to come home to after a long flight! Our boys seemed so happy and content when we arrived home. Highly recommend Hannah!
Michelle is a kind, generous, and thoughtful host. She provided all of the information I needed well ahead of time, clearly communicated logistics, and made me feel welcome and at home. She showed me around the area and gave me tips for things to do, including Smith Rock, which was one of the most incredible hikes I'd ever been on. Michelle also gave me a free pass to the High Desert Museum, which gave me enriching context for that very new-to-me area. That is the extent to which she makes her guests feel welcome. Tucker and Hazel are also very funny and adorable - as well as great cuddlers; we all hung out on the couch while I worked. Overall a wonderful experience. Highly recommend!
Annie and David are two in a million. They are welcoming, fun, engaging, generous of spirit and their home is simply wonderful. That is before you even meet the dogs! Where to begin? Brewster, head of the canine family, with an ‘I’ve been here the longest’ assuredness which is both sweet and adorable. He knows his mind and is completely up for transferring his usual affection and cuddle requirements on to you once he realises that you are kind and gentle. He is like the official welcoming committee after his parents go off…. He may as well say ‘Don’t worry, we’ve got this, I’ll show you how it all works’. Chester, well, he is just delicious – he’s funny, loving and an exceptionally gorgeous bundle of energy who is also beautifully kind to his ‘siblings’ and has the very best character. And then there is Barnstable, the puppy who cannot fail to make you smile. He is absolutely divine, comical, affectionate and full of mischief. He might be small still, but he is mighty and was willing and able to join in every adventure we went on, bouncing along with utter joy. You will love every minute of this sit, the people, the dogs, the location, every bit of it is fantastic and we would go back in a heartbeat if we were invited and free to do so! What more can I say?! If asked, say 'YES'.
We were in contact prior to sit and when we arrived we were taken by Lex to local reservoir Colt Crag with the dogs as this is a favourite spot for the dogs. We took them again to this spot whilst on our stay and the boys had a blast, it was a 3 mile walk..... Caroly made us a lovely home cooked meal when we got back, which was much appreciated. Father & son Pedro and Raffy are black cocker spaniels were a joy. Excellent recall and little need for leads, due to excellent recall. Both very friendly dogs who loved to run around the local fields. Whilst happy to be by the Aga in the kitchen also happy to be in the outside kennel with large run. Both boys loved going on walks and would walk and walk. Their home is large stone farmhouse on the Reivers Cycle Route with all amenities you need. Clean and tidy and as weather glorious they were no need to have benefit of the wood burning stoves. Our bedroom had ensuite facilities with TV and large comfy bed. There was also 8 hens to look after but to be fair the hens put themselves to bed. They are housed in an enclosed area at the end of house. So you need to check on fresh water, feed and collect the fresh eggs.... Corbridge and Hexham two market towns 10 mins down road with all amenities you need. We would not hesitate to recommend Carolyn and Lex as hosts and you won't be disappointed by your stay at Errington House. But most importantly you will love Pedro and Raffy who are a joy and we hope we can visit again in the near future.
This is such a great petsit. Loz and Cat are fantastic hosts, super friendly and always available. I felt very trusted and relaxed with them. Ruby and Brooklyn were a dream. Ruby is like velcro and always wants to be by your side, she has the sweetest temperament and is so loving. Brooklyn takes her time getting to know you but then is very relaxed and curious. A gorgeous, calm soul. The house is fantastic and in the best location, right by Chapel street and near transport. The 5 days passed in a blink, and I fully recommend this place.
Thank you Linda for the opportunity to be your guests , you have a wonderful dog Caesar , we loved him , he is very friendly and sweet ! The house is 5 minutes from the beach in a quiet and nice location. We had a wonderful time. Thank you ❤️
Cressida was a very welcoming host. Her home is lovely and situated in a safe area with attractions nearby. Communication was always on point and nothing was too much trouble. Missy is a sweetheart. She loves nothing more than a tummy rub and snuggles. I would love to return if the opportunity arises. Thanks for having me Cressida! Hugs to Missy x
