I had an amazing time staying @ Anna’s place in Kaş! Kaş is a stunningly beautiful quaint coastal town in SW Turkey. Her apartment is right in the heart of the town, you are absolutely spoilt for choice for restaurants, bars, beach clubs etc. The apartment itself is stylish, bright and spacious and has everything you need. And she has one of the most comfortable beds that I’ve ever slept in!😅 And then there is Marmy (Marmalade). Anna had warned me that she can be a bit shy around new people so I felt honoured when we hit it off straight away. She is a very sweet natured and calm cat and her days are mostly spent in some form of dozing and keeping an eye on the activity below from the balcony which is one of her fave spots to hang out. Marmy will definitely let you know when she is hungry (often) and wanting cuddles (as soon as you sit down on the couch in the evening 😂) and when she wasn’t sleeping or surveying the area I would often catch her just staring at me which I found quite endearing! All in all she made for a super sweet companion for my extended stay in Kaş:) and I missed her once I left. Anna was also great to deal with. Even though she was working remotely while she was away and healing from a surgery she was always super responsive to my messages and really helpful with suggestions and recommendations. She even put me in touch with one of her friends who I met up with (as I knew no one in the area) which was really very kind. If you get the chance to sit for Anna & Marmy in beautiful Kaş you should absolutely snap it up it’s a special sit :)
I spent the winter at Michael’s charming woodland home in Del Rio, TN, and it was a magical experience. It is on a huge property that borders the Cherokee National Forest, and with all the trees and little streams it is like stepping into a dream. The house has everything anyone could need (including very speedy WiFi) and it was a true pleasure to stay there as long as I did. Jolie is the sweetest dog I’ve ever spent time with. She is the perfect walking/hiking companion and exceptionally easy to take care of. Audrey is a very cute little cat who always made me laugh at the clever hiding places she would find for herself — she was also extremely easy to take care of. Michael is a kind and thoughtful man who has a great knowledge of the area and was able to answer any question I had about the geography, wildlife, and flora & fauna of Tennessee. I would strongly recommend this home to any sitter.
This was a wonderful house sit. Judy and Bill are very kind, generous couple and it was a pleasure to meet them. We were were warmly welcomed at the airport and pampered with a welcome package when we arrived, a tour, and a ride to the airport when when we left. Communication was very good and we had detailed instructions for the house and pets. There is a landline, if needed. Their lovely home was spotlessly clean, comfortable and easy to look after. There are beautiful neighbourhoods to walk Molly and the house is close to so many, many places to explore, with easy access to main roads and the train. Always happy, lovable and well-behaved Molly couldn't have enjoyed her walks more. Kitty was aloof at first, as many cats, are but then demanded her four minute pets a few times a day. Both required medications that were easy to give. We would absolutely recommend this sit for such a lovely couple and their pets. Thank you so much for having us!
