This house sit was just great! Ian and Lyndie were really welcoming since the very first moment. Kia and Pixel were very fun to spend time with and well trained. The chickens lay amazing eggs every day!! We realised how much we needed this time off
This was my first visit to Lewes and I loved staying at Philippa's looking after Millie the cat. Lewes itself is a gorgeous town with interesting history, artistic culture, and quintessentially English pubs everywhere you go. Phillipa's house although on the outskirts of town, is an easy 15 minute walk in and 20ish minutes walk from the station. It is also brilliantly close to the bus stop for getting into Brighton. Philippa's home is so warm, welcoming wih a stunning wildish garden that would be perfect for dining al fresco. My weather was not the most cooperative so I chose to sit huddled up by the log burner instead. Millie is incredibly friendly and affectionate and so easy to care for, letting herself in and out as she pleases through the cat flap. Great walks out the front door and every amenity you need for a week in the South Downs. Philippa's communication was excellent and I felt like it was speaking with a friend. I'd happily come and care for Millie again!
I had a wonderful time looking after Luly and Griselda. They are lovely and calm companions. It was easy to learn their routine and needs in the first couple of days. Luly’s treats ran out during my sit and Bianca was prompt in ordering more for delivery so she wouldn’t go without them. Overall, would recommend this sit to anyone.
I absolutely loved my time with Inca in Derby. Uma and Ian gave me such a warm welcome and lots of good info on the house and Inca. They were so responsive and helpful throughout my stay. The house is beautiful and comfortable, perfectly located in the center of town just a few steps from the Cathedral and tons of restaurants/shops/museums etc. there are some great parks nearby and easy access to others via buses. The best part of the sit is, of course, Inca. I completely fell in love with the sweet pup. He is so smart and so well behaved. He loves a good walk and can play fetch for ever but is also just as happy cuddling up. Inca has a delightful personality and everyone stopped to comment on how handsome he is 🥰 He is the perfect adventure buddy. I would definitely recommend this sit to anyone and would love to spend more time with Inca in Derby.
