Maggie
Maggie and Rose were lovely and welcoming, and cooked a delicious dinner the night before they left.
Maurice and TT were a pleasure to be around and such sweet natured cats.
The house is stunning with a beautiful garden to relax in and rooms overlooking Alexandra Palace (the park has amazing views of London from the top and is a 5 minute walk away).
The location is perfect, only 10 minute walk away from supermarkets, gyms, cafes & restaurants in Muswell Hill.

We recently had the very good fortune to sit for Sandy and her lovely animals, Jessie, Nina and Hissy in her gorgeous apartment in the delightful town of Santa Ponsa. Our communication with Sandy started months ago but then, because of the pandemic, all plans changed. However we all knew we wanted to make a sit happen so we kept flexible and eventually it all worked out.

Sandy is a generous and kind lady with years of experience hosting people. She dearly loves her animals and has recently moved into a stunning apartment on a very quiet, well maintained urbanization close to the sea and marina of Port Adriano. She made us feel so welcome and relaxed with our own comfortable bedroom and bathroom. As it happened, we spent several nights together, while travel plans were sorted, so we were able to really get to know each other and the animals before she left.

Jessie (a maltese/bichon cross) is such a sweetie. She is well behaved and loves to sit by you on the sofa for a cuddle. Nina is a tiny, tiny terrier Sandy is currently fostering. She's such a wee character - full of beans one minute, sprawled out fast asleep the next. Hissy, the handsome tabby boy, is also very affectionate and attentive. The three furries got on extremely well and all of them, and us, spent lovely evenings together listening to music or watching TV. Walking the dogs was no trouble at all. They are small so 30-40 mins around the interesting streets, a couple of times a day, is perfect for them.

We really loved this sit especially because we feel we have made a very good friend in Sandy and because we especially enjoyed spending time with her animals in such a lovely environment. We hope to return for many more sits, once we all start travelling again. Thank you Sandy for choosing us and for being so kind and generous. We really appreciated everything.

Katie
Katie & Adrian extended a warm and hospitable welcome to their stunning villa on the outskirts of the small Spanish village of San Enrique de Guadiaro.
Communication was excellent before and during our stay. Our queries were answered in a matter of minutes.
We were treated to a tapas supper before the sit started and full verbal and written instructions were given before Katie & Adrian departed.
Looking after Looby, Maddie, Tom & Jerry was an absolute pleasure. Looby, an elderly happy dog enjoyed her short sniff & strolls, whilst energetic Maddie eagerly walked as far and as often as she was given the opportunity too. The villa also has a secure area where the dogs love to play in.
The cats Tom & Jerry were kept separate from the dogs and both loved attention once they got used to us.
The villa was very comfortable with all the mod cons & gadgets you need for a relaxing stay. The guest bedroom was very large with a massive comfy bed and en-suite shower room.
The villa also has a very inviting swimming pool which was sadly just a bit too chilly to take a dip in (April housesit).
The area has lots of villages and towns to visit. The large supermarkets were only a 5 minute drive away and the beaches 10-15 minute drive.
We decided not to leave the villa/ pets for long periods of time to travel to eg Gibraltar, as extensive renovation works to the property were being undertaken during our stay. We tried to make the environment as stress-free for the pets as possible by distracting them & staying with them while the builders were present.

We recommend you apply for this housesit if the position arises as the location, accommodation, hosts and pets are wonderful.

Thank you Katie and Adrian for trusting us to look after your lovely home and adorable pets.

Kylie
We had a really great weekend with sweet Lola and Charlie! 🩷

We felt very comfortable after being warmly welcomed by Kylie and her family. The house was super nice and very clean. Kylie made us feel very comfortable. She even bought chocolate for us! 🥰Communication ran smoothly and was very uncomplicated.

We had clear instructions for the dogs which was very helpful. Charlie and Lola were absolutely wonderful! We took every day with them to the fullest. Lola is super playful and excited and Charlie is super cuddly and sweet.

I would 100% recommend and would also love to take care of them again🫶🏻

Thank you so much!
Best Wishes

Marian
I had a great time at Marian's place with Pixie and Penelope, her lovely cats. Her place is spacious and organized. It has everything you'd need. It's right by the river which gives not only nice views but also a sense of calmness. I got to rest a lot but I was also able to concentrate and work on the projects that I had. I took long walks by the area and that was very invigorating. Marian was very nice to picked me up at the train station and took me to the grocery store to get some food. She was also very thorough at the indications regarding the cats meals and snacks and everything pertaining the house such as the trash and how to maneuver the temperature of the apartment (among other stuff.) She also provided printed clear instructions. If you have a car you'd be able to go around the area and enjoy a lot of fun things that are close by. The city is also a quick less than one hour away. Pixie and Penelope were a bit shy at the beginning but warmed up after a few days of me staying there. They were fun to have around. I believe anyone who stays at Marian's could have a great time for sure.
