House sitting for Rich and Deb was an enriching experience. Their Australian shepherd, Juno, was a highlight—well-behaved, intuitive, and a joy to walk and play with every morning. I’ll miss our daily adventures together. Rich and Deb’s home is thoughtfully designed and equipped with everything you need. They have two beautiful backyards with koi ponds, a hot tub, a smokeless fire pit, and high-quality exercise machines, including a Peloton. The house is adorned with interesting art and offers plenty of space to relax and unwind. The location is perfect, situated on the greenbelt with easy access to the Galisteo Basin trails. These trails are fantastic for hiking and offer stunning views of the savannah grasslands and sandstone formations, making for peaceful and inspiring walks. The neighborhood is quiet and safe, with beautiful sunsets and a clear night sky ideal for stargazing. The proximity to the local library and athletic field added convenience and enjoyment to my stay. Rich and Deb were incredibly kind and understanding, ensuring I had everything I needed. They even arranged for their cleaner, Jenny, to come by twice during my stay, which kept the home in perfect condition. I’m very grateful for the opportunity to house sit for such a thoughtful and welcoming couple. Thank you, Rich and Deb, for this wonderful experience.
Jennie and Caesar were the host and hostess with the mostest! They embraced mused and my 11 year old son with a goodie basket filled with yummies and a book of the area for families. We included their pup on all of our voyages. She was obedient and stayed by outside the whole time. Sweet location and the chips and roosters were very well behaved. The kitty likes to hunt at night and has a curfew. Was honored with this time and responsibility. Thank you, again!
We had a wonderful time housesitting for Natalia and Jurgen. We loved our time looking after Zephy and Wink. Both are delightful animals: playful, well trained, and easy to please. We spent our days exploring the area with Zephy in tow, and cuddling up to them. Our pet sitting responsibilities felt easy with such amazing animals. Natalia and Jurgen were friendly and generous beyond measure. We overlapped with them for two nights of our housesit, both of which they treated us to dinner. They gave us unrestricted access to their space and really allowed us to treat it as our own. We felt very welcomed by them and relaxed in their presence. The place itself is in a beautiful location with an abundance of things to do both at the residence and all around. We’d absolutely housesit again if we’re on this side of the world and Natalia and Jurgen are in need 😊
We had a lovely time with Bella and Duke at Shani's place. They're very sweet dogs and easy to care for. The apartment complex is very nice and great for remote work. We'd be happy to sit for them again!
Jane’s cottage in Castle Cary was a welcoming and warm retreat for a couple days after arriving in London. Jane and Ant greated us with a meal and showed us all we needed for our stay in the home and to care for the dogs. Daniel and Buster were easy, well behaved and fun to take for romps on the nearby trails. Daniel loves to snuggle and Buster loves to play ball. The were very happy with our kids and did well on their own when we left for 4 hours to visit Stonehenge nearby. Such a great opportunity to sit in a beautiful area.
Lovely home and location, and Sugar was incredibly sweet. Easy to walk, fun to play soccer with, and loved pets on the couch. Hosts were friendly and communicative. Highly recommend.
