Taking care of Claire and John's house and animals while they were away was an absolute pleasure. They were very accommodating with everything right from the start. They greeted me with a wonderful dinner and we had a nice day in order to be introduced to the tasks. The house is beautiful and unique, located in a very peaceful area. And the crew of animals is one of the most special we've been with. A part of our heart stayed with Laszlo, Omar and all the rest! It was all in all a wonderful experience. Terri provided clear instructions and communicated with us on a regular basis during our stay. Maggie Mae, Ginger and Zachary Taylor are a fun fur gang to hang around with. The home is lovely and in a great location, close to many amenities, including shops, restaurants, and even a great state park. Pam and Kirk have been married 45 years . . . and they are still in love. Their house is full of love for each other and the family they raised. Their home is the kind of nest where ALL the kids and grandkids come back for holidays. That love extends to two of the cutest, most loving dogs we have been with. They are getting to be senior citizens, but still get excited for their walks and post-walk treats. Sebastian "purr growls" when you pet him. Jamie looked it up. It really is a thing. It is unique, but so loving and it is one of the things about him that I will miss. Hachi is just about the cutest girl we have sat for. Those ears! When you take them on walks they always keep an eye on each other and don't like to be too far apart. This sit at Pam and Kirk's was extremely comforting. We had just come from a very busy area of East Bay with lots of traffic, difficult street parking, and the occasional gun shots just down the street. Pam and Kirk's large accommodating home was on a very quiet street with friendly neighbors, beautiful flowers and fruit trees, large back yard that flanks a golf course fairway and very comfortable furniture (including the bed!). Their kitchen has everything you need and a lot more. Pam and Kirk showed us all around and we felt immediately at home. It didn't hurt that Kirk is a football fan like me and had the game on the big TV when we walked in. We've been on the road since June and it was my first chance to catch a real live game. Heaven! I had forgotten how much I'd missed it. We already miss Chester and Hachi. There was one thing we hated about their house . . . leaving it. We could have easily stayed there a month. We hope to get a chance for a return next year. If you are lucky enough to get an invite from Pam and Kirk, take it immediately. You won't want to leave.
Sitting for Diane, Mitch, and Max was delightful! For first-time hosts, they were amazing and had everything so organized and ready for my arrival, with thorough written instructions and helpful information for me to refer to during my stay. Their home is lovely, in a mature, green, gated neighborhood, with amazing walking trails and great neighbors! I appreciated them having me stay in their spacious and comfortable master suite, which is where adorable Max also has his bed. He was a very quiet sleeper and was adaptable to my schedule ... happy when I awoke early to greet him, play a little bit during morning coffee and take a walk before I began work. But he was equally willing to let me sleep in a bit on the weekend! We took two good walks each day, one with his frisbee, the other with a tennis ball in tow. He is a good walker on the lead, needing occasional gentle reminders to "heel" to contain his puppy energy, and he is so eager to please and to guide you to his favorite place to play - a beautiful knoll with ample room to run! Max is a joy to watch catch the frisbee or chase after the ball. True to his breed, he is an excellent retriever and deposits the toy every single time just in front of you, anticipating the next throw! At home, Max has a convenient doggy-door and a nice green backyard to play in! We even had the neighbors and their dogs over for a few lunchtime or evening playdates. He also happily went with me a few times to run errands - a willing and agreeable companion no matter what you are doing! He stayed close during the parts of the day when I needed to work and was self-sufficient letting himself out and tossing his toys around to keep himself amused until I could take a break. And, of course, he loves to snuggle - he has the softest fur and the sweetest face and great personality! Although he is full grown, he still has many endearing qualities of a puppy. Made me a bit sad when I needed to say farewell! I consider this a highly desirable sit - both in terms of Max, as well as his friendly and warm parents. If you love labs, and have the opportunity to do so, I'd highly recommend snagging this opportunity!
Brian is courteous and friendly and Roscoe is a well trained fun loving dog. I enjoyed my time with Roscoe and found that he listened well, warmed up quickly and he is also independent. The location is wonderful with plenty to do and see within a short walk, drive , public transport ride. The home was clean and comfortable. I would definitely sit again / recommend to others.

We brought our two great Danes to doggy woods a couple times now. The second time, we went on vacation and left them for 12 days. One of the things we love the most are not only the people running the center, but the way they run it. Open boarding in their home and open free walk times along their acreage with all the other dogs. It’s wonderful how they post videos daily of your dogs experiences. I would definitely recommend not only doggy daycare but overnight boarding for your furry babies. Maverick and Riley will be returning to go visit all the friends they made. Family owned and operated in their home with love and compassion, definitely! 🐾💙
I’m a long time friend of Josh and Colette’s. They have always been huge animal lovers and have been interested in and in tune with animal behavior for many years, so this is the perfect career for them! I’m so excited to be able to use their services at Doggy Woods for Grady, a German shepherd I’ve been helping to care for. He had a great time meeting the pack in a safe and controlled manner, and had absolute blast getting to run around in the woods with his new pack friends on a pack walk. He is a very social and athletic dog who is used to a lot of exercise, so this will be an amazing environment for him since he will have an outlet for both of those things. So thankful for Josh and Colette and their amazing property that had become Doggy Woods.
Doggy Woods is an amazing dog retreat! Our dog Milo absolutely loves it there. We recently boarded him for 2 weeks. He had a blast! They took him on 2 nature walks a day and would post videos of each walk so I could see him if I wanted. They offer great add ons to make it a very personalized experience. This place is wonderful, and discovering it has been a real blessing for us! We have two dogs, a 14 year old going blind and deaf, and a puppy maybe a year old who was a stray we’d only found about a month earlier. He wasn’t well socialized, or well behaved! The folks at Doggy Woods were so accommodating, and accepting of our dog’s limitations and peculiarities. After their first stay of 4 nights, they came home like different dogs. Our Senior was acting younger, and our puppy was more chill, and much better behaved! And both of them slept like rocks for hours! We’ve been traveling a lot, and we feel so comfortable with the staff and facilities at Doggy Woods, that we’ve boarded 12 nights in a month with a few daycare days as well! Drop offs and pickups are always super smooth. We appreciate the photos they share, the updates, and especially watching the videos on their Facebook page. We plan to continue bringing our dogs there for boarding and daycare. We know it’s the right place, because our dogs get so excited every time we enter their driveway!
I can’t say enough good things about Doggy Woods! I know my girl is in the best hands possible and having the best time with Colette and Joshua. I trust them whole heartedly and they really do understand dogs individual needs. My girl always comes home happy and exhausted because her needs have been met ❤️. I feel very confident in leaving her with them for day care and boarding. Can’t recommend them enough!
Colette and Josh are awesome! Doggy Woods Retreat is a wonderful place and our dog, Cheesecake, comes home happy and tired every time. We love this place so much that we are willing to drive an hour+ each way rather than find something closer, just because she's so happy here and we trust them. I can't recommend them enough!!
Our 2 year English bull terrier had a great 10 day vacation at Doggy Woods! We were kept up-to-date with daily with videos on Facebook of their daily walks, as well as pictures through text messages. This is the first boarding business that I felt at ease throughout our entire vacation, even halfway across the world. Our dog look like she made herself at home very quickly and was excited for daily cuddles with the humans. She even got a bath before we picked her up! Doggy Woods is our go to place now for doggy care. Nolzy can’t wait to go back and make new friends! 🐶
Colette and Will were absolutely amazing with our three girls. They have excellent insight to dog behavior with their years of experience with all types of dogs. They were a last minute find for us and really helped us out in a pinch. We can’t believe how lucky we were to find them. The dogs came home exhausted from their fun stay at Doggy Woods. We got several pictures and updates through their stay. Can’t recommend them enough.
Cannot recommend this place enough! My husband and I have been dropping off our two dogs at Doggy Woods off and on now for just over a year and they ALWAYS come back happy and exhausted from long days of fun with the pack! While my husband and I are on vacation, Doggy Woods posts pictures of them on their Facebook page so we know they’re having a blast! Makes leaving a little easier on us. They go on daily walks and are always loved while there! It’s their own home away from home! Wouldn’t trust anyone else with my best friends!! Added some pictures of my best buddies that they posted on their Facebook page. Makes my heart happy!!
We brought our dog here for the first time and he stayed with them for a few days. He had so much fun!! There is so much land for them to play around on. The owners were incredibly kind, responsive, and you can tell they really love and care for all animals. I never worried about the safety or care of our dog while there. 10/10 recommend bringing your fur babies here - it’s a vacation for them! Will definitely be bringing our dog back :)
Kate watched both my dog (Todd) and my sister’s dog (Lenny) at my home over a long holiday weekend. Both being labradoodles, they are energetic and can be a handful. Not only was she able to provide updates and photos each day, she handled them with amazing skill. We came home to a clean house and two very happy pups. I will definitely use her services again, and would highly recommend her to other family and friends!
Kate is simply the best. We trust our Charlie girl with her and know that she cares about Charlie as much as we do. It makes me so happy and relieved to know that Charlie has a sitter who loves her so much and takes such great care of her when we can't be with her. The owners are friendly to us and our dogs. They are more attentive than other dog boarding companies and took very good care of our 8 month puppy who is still learning to be social. The owners updated us with a video of our dogs every day while we were traveling.
This was our pup's first time being boarded, so we were a little nervous. Kate came highly recommended. I knew when I dropped our pup off, he was in good hands! I got daily photos and/or videos, he looked so happy, and that helped us enjoy our vacation. Glad to have found trusted, high quality care for our dog. We will definitely use Magnolia again!

Ashley did an absolutely amazing job! My 13yr old man is not easy to handle he takes special attention and care. He’s really sweet but he’s not great at standing and can be quite a handful when he feels like it but she takes such great care of him. And to top it all off he comes out looking and smelling wonderful. I’ve been going to Ashley for almost a decade now and I’ve continued to follow her to every location she’s groomed at. A good groomer is hard to find and an amazing groomer is 1 in a million. And Ashley is an amazing passionate groomer we’re so thankful to have her around.
My golden retriever has been going to Four-Legged Fun Zone since September, and she LOVES it! When she arrives, she wants to gallop to the back to join her furry friends. She comes home happy and tired every day, which tells me she's had a blast. The outdoor space is huge, with tons of agility equipment. She loves playing with her furry friends both inside and out. The staff is amazing too – so friendly and caring. I highly recommend Four-Legged Fun Zone to any dog owner looking for a top-notch daycare!
I am so happy with the grooming service today! The staff is friendly, professional, and really care about peoples pets! My dog looks amazing after grooming—clean, trimmed, and smelling great! Ashley took extra care to make sure my dog was comfortable, and I could tell she truly loves animals. The shop is clean and welcoming, which makes me feel good about leaving my dog there. I highly recommend and will definitely be back!
I am so grateful and appreciative of the fabulous care Ashley provided my 3 cats while I was out of town. They provided very detailed notes, which is a great comfort to a cat mom. I have recently became acquainted with our new groomer on Saturday afternoon, I wasn't sure as you never know with a new groomer how your hairy baby is gonna turn out. We were given a quick tour of their facility and was offered to have hot chocolate and make my girl, a dog cookie using the decorations they had to choose from. Then only an hour after they took her back they were already done and she looked so adorable and so happy!! Then to top it off we got a free picture of me and my baby girl a free picture!! It was a fun environment, and all the personal were very happy, friendly people, genuinely. It was nice to bring my pup in somewhere where people are so personable and happy I would totally recommend these guys to anyone who is or isn't looking for a new groomer,because once you walk in the door and are greeted with a smiling face you'll be sold Thanks again guys, I'm really happy I chose to change from our previous, blah, and impersonable,overly crowded, scrunched for time, staff,that never made me feel appreciated for my business or even greet me or walk me to the front door like i was here. We enjoy taking our dog Mitch here for daycare and meet ups. The attention she receives is evident throughout the process, from first signing up to the end of day report card we get after picking up. Mitch has a great time and we feel good knowing she's having fun while we're at work. Convenient pick up and drop off times and location as well.
Tailored Pet Service saved me both before and during my trip when I couldn’t find a place for my elderly small/medium service dog that doesn’t like being in a “free roam group setting.” No place would accommodate her being in a room most of the day as she would THRIVE IN. Or, timing was too close to when I needed to leave. I finally found TAILORED PET SERVICES!! They were quick to reply and gave a detailed and complete estimate/bill. The deposit was reasonable and the rates were beyond competitive. I loved how my girl dog could either be seen at home or be at someone’s home alone or with another dog or two. She has all her vaccinations as required and I got the stool test too as needed. She accommodated me so well and we were able to get my girl in. I met Antigone and her husband and I immediately knew my girl was in good, no, GREAT hands. It was originally for about four days to be kept but an emergency happened medically during the trip and we needed her kept longer and we were accommodated so kindly and they cared so much for me and for my girl. I got photos and updates daily. The photos were better than ones I could take! She looked so so happy! They kept her many many extra days and didn’t charge extra and now I have a forever place for my girl. And, since she has been with them, my girl has become more cuddly and allows us to hold her in our laps more. She even fell asleep in my dads arms the other day. She has never done that due to prior owners to me being abusive. This makes my heart sing knowing she was so, so loved. You won’t regret trusting your loved ones with Tailored Pet Services. Your furry friend will be safe, loved, communication is top notch, and the prices are beyond competitive. I trust them 110% and I love my girl as she’s also my service dog she’s my entire world. Four-Legged Fun Zone made training my new puppy, Sunny, a breeze! With Lise’s help, we’ve mastered sit, stay, & lay down. While continuously working on not jumping up. I’m very grateful for the training and time Lise has put into my dog. My dog is a Pitbull/Chihuahua so she’s needed extra help, and Lise has always been there to support us! I highly recommend training with Four-Legged Fun Zone .
We've been a customer of TAILored Pet Services for some time, and have had several of their dog walkers. They have all been great. Also, everyone in the business has outstanding communication, from the daily walk reports to working with office staff. I feel like they know our family and care about our dogs. We would leave a 6-star review if we could.
Erik has taken excellent care of our large greyhound since we adopted our pup in March. Greyhounds can be shy and aloof to strangers, but Erik seems to have a natural intuition in engaging with my dog; this is evident during our first meeting, and our boy has maintained a bond with Erik ever since. My significant other and I both have highly demanding jobs, and Erik has been blessing to us especially in caring for our energetic boy both during the day and sometimes overnight home stays. He pays great attention to details, has been flexible with scheduling, and always provide timely updates to let us know how our dog is doing. I knew our pup was in great hands when we arranged a week-long overnight stay with Erik. We have been incredibly pleased with how professional, communicative, and passionate Erik is about taking care of our pup.

Erik has watched our two cats twice now. Both times for four days. One of our cats has asthma and needs an inhaler. Erik has been able to give her this medication with ease and we are so grateful! We have been so impressed with this service. He is prompt and kind. Very communicative. The price is extremely reasonable. This most recent trip, we accidentally got the days wrong and he was able to accommodate! The cats really like him. Professionalism is at a 10! We will definitely hire him whenever we’re out of town and we recommend him to anyone!

We highly recommend Erik (Crazy Dog Man) for pet sitting. We have a large black lab/pit bull/Great Dane mix (Harley) that is a rescue, abused as a pup many years ago. He is therefore apprehensive around new people and takes awhile to gain trust. When Harley met Erik earlier this year, he took to him right away. Erik respects and understands Harley and his needs, especially now that he is a senior dog and has health issues. Erik stays at our house when we are on vacation and the occasional weekend, and provides Harley with exceptional care, including all his medications. Erik is definitely in tune with dogs, no matter their size.
Erik is very capable, conscientious and caring. My three horses and one donkey can be a handful but Erik handled them beautifully. He also did a great job of keeping their stalls, paddock and arena clean. I have recommended him to my friends, because they know I’m very particular about the quality of my pet family’s care. Erik provides that level of care!

Dottie and Shelley have been caring for our three cats for a few years now and always when we return home from our trips the cats are healthy and content. Take a dog who already had separation anxiety PRIOR to the pandemic, spend 16 months with him every day and then finally leaving him at home- we were two very nervous pet parents! We moved to Whidbey last summer and sought out pet care a few months ago anticipating the return back to society. We finally took our trip and left our corgi in care of Tricia's Pet Care and we are SO happy we did. We had two meetings prior to the overnight- one with Tricia and Shelley, our watcher, and then one more a few days before the care. Shelley was absolutely fantastic with Barkley. Having to had flown home to take care of an anxious dog before, she was receptive to our worries and paid extra care and attention to our boy. We got pictures multiple times a day of our happy boy. Even with the 4th of July fireworks, we were able to complete our entire trip stress free knowing Barkley was happy. This to us is priceless! We're so confident in her care that when we were offered a chance at a new puppy, having reliable pet care sealed the deal and we're thrilled to have Shelley, Tricia and team meet our new addition in the fall. They are the perfect mix of compassionate and professional and I am so lucky we found them! Thank you!!
Wow! My first meeting with Tricia and Team. I’m so relieved that I now have a powerful team of dog lovers to care for my two Cream retrievers. Maui is 12 and Kona is 7 months. This team came prepared to ask questions as they each built a profile for each of my dogs. Talk about thorough, these guys were very very impressive. They reviewed all the key points of interest, and left with all of my immediate dates short term and further out. Since we moved to Whidbey Island in 2012, Tricia and her team have been taking care of our pets whenever we go away. It's very easy to see that our pets are well-cared for during our absence. Upon our return home, they are always waiting to greet us, as though we'd only be gone a few hours. Tricia's has taken care of other issues that might impact our pets, such as a smoke detector located very high off the ground, that was chirping incessantly because its batteries were failing. She's also been known to walk quite a ways thru snow when it was too risky to drive down our street, and also has climbed over a large tree that was blocking our street. She (and her team) are the absolute BEST!!!

I could not be happier with CHP! The property is expansive but secure, the dogs are cared for and provided with lots of attention. We recently moved our pup from another local spot, due to its size and ability for our dog to play in a larger space, and it’s been amazing…she seems more tired after for sure! But, the absolute best part is the staff. It’s obvious they all absolutely love what they do, love the company and love the dogs. I am greeted every time I drop or pick up, with positive energy, and a customer focused attitude. I know this is transferred onto the dogs. They are also super flexible, no crazy packages, max days requirements and no kennels when boarded. I just text, get thumbs up, and go! Amazing place!
We love camp (all photos were taken by camp employees)!! I had a Covid puppy that I didn’t want home alone when we went to work and picked out camp because she has always loved the wilderness and knew she would have so much fun in the environment camp fosters. When we decided to get a second dog, Becky (camp owner) was one of the first people I talked to about it! Both my girls go twice a week and love it, my youngest sometimes plays dead dog at pick up because she doesn’t want to leave. I love keeping up with their instagram and the staff are so committed to the dogs that they asked what commands we use at home and started using them at camp (my Aussie has unmatched recall now when you say place). They always come home happy and well stimulated and that’s all I could ask for in a daycare!
The only place I trust to love my dogs when I'm out of town. Camp Happy Paws is amazing! From a safety perspective, the staff is attentive and dogs are fully supervised 24/7. When one of my dogs was howling at night, I heard about it, and what they did to address it. So reassuring! Beyond that, dogs get to run and play with friends all day on a great property. My dogs come home exhausted and not at all mad at us for having left them - they enjoy the experience too much to even miss us. The instagram photos and videos are a great touch. It's always so fun seeing how happy the dogs all are. One extra note - I have one "normal" dog and one other dog who started life in poor circumstances and needed to be rescued. The extra care the team takes with my rescue dog is incredible. I'm so grateful to live near this wonderful business.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had an absolutely incredible experience at Camp Happy Paws with our dog Giddy! From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed by the owner, who is not only wonderful but also incredibly personable. She and her team go above and beyond to ensure each dog feels comfortable and loved. During Giddy’s trial, she was quite nervous. To help her adjust, they thoughtfully placed her in a room with two larger, friendly dogs. They took their time with her, waiting until she was ready to come out, which meant a lot to us as dog parents. Giddy stayed for 8 nights, and I love that Camp Happy Paws doesn’t use crates; the dogs sleep in beds! Every day, Becky sent us pictures and text updates to let us know how Giddy was doing, putting our minds at ease while we were away. After her boarding experience, we took Giddy to daycare yesterday and she absolutely loved it! (first picture is of her on her way home yesterday evening) She was so excited that today she seems a bit down — I think she misses her new friends and of course Becky🐾 It’s clear that she understands the word "daycare" now, and we're thrilled to see her so happy and safe at Camp Happy Paws. We adore how much the employees genuinely care for the dogs, and it's hard to imagine finding a place like this in Arizona. Thank you, Camp Happy Paws, for giving Giddy such a fantastic experience! We highly recommend it to any dog owner looking for a loving and safe environment for their furry friends! We rescued a 4 month old Cavalier from a neglectful breeder situation in February, she was super shy and struggled a lot with social confidence and being around other dogs and new people. Because she's so little and she was so nervous, the owner of Camp Happy Paws (Becky) took Ginger under her wing and invited her to play with her own Cavalier for a few hours a week. Becky took care of Ginger like she was her own puppy, and over time Ginger totally blossomed into a new dog! She now attends camp 2-3 full days a week, and is known as "The Party Animal" at 10 months old. She went from a nervous, socially awkward, and insecure puppy to a confident and happy dog that has the most fun at camp every day she goes. Cannot thank Becky and her wonderful team enough, they were instrumental in helping socialize Ginger, and I would have paid hundreds more for the care and love they showed Ginger and us. You can't go wrong with this daycare; they love your dog like their own, they provide amazing social situations for young dogs to learn in, they're flexible with payment schedules and they're super affordable, and you get to pick up a happy and tired pup at the end of the day! We couldn't be happier with Camp Happy Paws and the staff there.
We just moved here from out of State and this is the first Doggy Daycare of this kind I’ve ever seen. All fur babies get to be outside all day in a forest like setting with lots of room to run and play. The staff is giving heart-warming care and is always happy to offer advise and recommendations which is especially helpful for a first-time dog owner like me. This place made such a difference to our family – it’s giving me balance and breaks and I know that my dog Mac is well taken care of. We come three times a week and whenever I say “lets go to daycare” – Mac gets so excited and is running to the door. I am so thankful for Camp Happy Paws and would highly recommend it!
My partner and I had a lot of trouble finding the right spot for our Ruby and we are so happy we found camp happy paws. Our girl has resource guarding issues but otherwise loves to play and run outside, camp happy paws was perfect (they are a no toy facility and fed her alone for us). The whole team at Happy Paws embraced her for all her sassiness and she had a wonderful stay while we were out of the country on vacation! Becky was so wonderful and updates the instagram with pictures and videos every day so you can check in with your pup. Highly recommend this place :)
Camp Happy Paws & all the staff...we love you!! (And so does Bruin) We first came to Camp Happy Paws 20 something years ago with our lab, Maggie. Becky and Scott the owners were amazing to deal with and were incredible to us and our pup. She day cared and boarded with them and the experience was 5* Fast forward 20 years and years after after our girl passed we now take our young Chocolate lab, Bruin. Camp Happy Paws has grown but the care, dedication and fun remains through and through. From the owners to every employee. They are all wonderful, down to earth, kind and dog centric. It's all about the dogs ...and they have made an incredible space where dogs can be dogs and be part of a special pack. Our Bruin lovvves to go to camp and she knows where we are going as soon as I say "school" (its more like heaven) and she cant get to the car fast enough. She has blossomed in their care and is happy and tired at the end of the day. I cannot say enough good things about the people, the grounds (are beautiful, clean and tranquil) and the energy is amazing. I highly recommend Camp Happy Paws for "playcare" or boarding.
We absolutely love Camp Happy Paws! Becky and her team have always treated our mini dachshund, Seager, like the princess she is. I never have to worry if she’s getting enough attention, and she is so lucky they are patient with her when she decides she’s going to be a picky eater! I also love that they provide a safe environment for her without kennels/crates. The camp has always been so accommodating, flexible, and reliable. I honestly can’t say enough about how wonderful Camp Happy Paws is!
A neighbor referred us to Camp Happy Paws and we’re so happy she did! The property is large and beautiful with plenty of room for the pups to run around. Becky and her crew are very attentive with all the dogs so we can rest easy knowing our boy is in the best hands — they’re true dog-lovers. Also, as an added bonus they are flexible with drop-off and pick-up times, which really helps with our unpredictable work schedules. Our sweet boy always comes home happy and exhausted.
Terrible place... If i could have given less than 1 star, I would have. We boarded our dog on the 19th Dec and picked her up on the 23rd. We had already informed the team that she is not good with all dogs. They assured us they would try slow introductions and if it doesn't work out she would get individual playtime/walks (for which we obviously had prepaid extra). The day we pick her up she was a different dog completely. Her usually happy behaviors were all gone. We thought may be she was just very well tired out and needed some time to recover. We asked at the reception how the boarding went and they assured us that she had a perfect score and it went all fine. Our interaction there with our dog was just receive her from the staff there, put her in the car and immediately drive back home. As soon as she reached home we notice a huge and deep gash on her bum with blood pooling inside. We immediately call CCCC and whoever picked up says oh yes she got into an altercation with a dog on the 20th and had been bitten by that dog. They apparently checked her for injuries. Mind you, this was the 23rd when we had picked her up. My poor dog did not get any medical attention for 2 whole days. And if we would have left her there any longer she would not have gotten any attention for that entire time as well. She could have had sepsis and things could have taken an awfully wrong turn. I beleive the staff at CCCC is not to be trusted. They did not even care to notice a huge gash on our dog. She is a malamute and she has a lot of fur, but that wound was so easily visible that unless they interacted with their eyes closed, there is no chance a person would miss noticing that wound. I also noticed someone in the reviews mentioning that only half the food of what might have been measured was fed to the dogs. I noticed that too as well. I stronly urge CCCC to hire competent staff, because this is beyond outrageous.
Took my perfectly healthy happy dog there, he was there for two nights and now he is not the same dog I dropped off. He's skinny, they only gave him half the amount of food I sent with him that I had measured out prior to bringing him. And he came out limping and they said nothing about it when I asked them about it they acted like he got it on the walk out then claimed it was from being in the water at play time. We live by a river that he swims in everyday so that’s certainly not what happened, his entire paw is swollen and he can’t even step on it. He looks and acts absolutely traumatized and malnourished. I never leave reviews like this but when it comes to what I consider my child I will prevent it from happening to someone else’s. Will be hiring a pet sitter next time.
I had a fantastic experience at Canine Country Club and Cattery during my first visit! The staff was friendly and genuinely cared for my dog, making us feel completely at ease. The facility was clean and well-organized. Highly recommend for anyone looking for reliable and caring dog daycare!
We were so nervous to board our 2-year-old bubs for the first time. We had never been away from them. The staff is so wonderful, so kind and patient with us when we called every morning to check on them. Our boys loved it there, they were able to socialize and play with other dogs and we will be taking them there for daycare. Such a great place to take our dogs with peace of mind that they are adored and cared for so well.
My dog seemed to love it and was very happy dropping off and when I picked him up. And they didn't seem bothered at all when I called to check up on him Update: it's been almost two years since I brought my dogs in! They stayed for 7 days this time! My one dog is very skittish and not a people lover. They both did great! They seemed to be well taken care of! They did walks everyday and I was able to call for updates. I was so nervous dropping my younger dog off but now I think I will be ok next time they go!
Phenomenal group of folks here. Our dog Nakita now gets so excited when she's realizing where she's going! They take care to report on anything that occurs during the stay which just lends to a peace of mind you won't get anywhere else. And when Nakita sees any of the staff she's instantly happy and excited to see them. Ten stars if I could!
I have used canine country club a few different times and I have always been happy with their service. The pups seem to be excited when we drop them off and they are always happy and normal when they come home. Highly recommend. Good pricing too. I like that they offer walks and play time.
Been going here for years! Took my pup there for a weekend, no worries about him...I think I needed a kennel too. They treat my dogs like gold!!
Our dogs always have a great time. Staff are friendly and helpful. We love knowing our dogs are safe and well cared for.
Very nice people. My dog loves coming here and is always excited to go. Rates are good, and I feel they take good care of my dog. Hours could be longer but are adequate to work an 8 hour day with an hour commute each way.
