We’ve used Top Dog Pet Sitters for several years now. They are amazing!!! They love on our fur babies while we’re away and we know they are in good hands. We had overnight service when we had geriatric dogs and boarding would have been much to hard on them. Now it’s just 3 kitties but everyone is happy and healthy (as always) after our return. Their communication emails are the best so you can see your fur babies pictures while you’re away. We will definitely continue to use them and HIGHLY recommend them.

My four cats are my babies and I struggle leaving them when we go away. I already used Backyard Pet Sitting to trim claws for us. I wanted a professional vendor to pet sit while we were out of the country with a cat with a condition that may need emergency care. Backyard Pet Sitting followed my annoyingly finicky cat service requests to the full extent. They sent me detailed notes and photos daily and gave me a sense of peace that my babies were well cared for and safe. I couldn't be more pleased with outstanding service we received from Backyard Home & Pet Sitting! I originally contacted them after our cat had gotten out of the house for 5 days hiding in the sewers by our house. We have 2 other cats and I needed an emergency bath & brush on a Sunday. They were quick to respond and sent Mary over by noon. She was wonderful and we decided to have her come back and give our girls a spa day as well. Mary is patient, kind and gentle. She is efficient, thorough and our girls are clean and unfazed. I couldn't be happier and will definitely ask for her again next time we need her.

It took us a while to find the right groomer for our dogs, and we are so thankful that we found the best one in town! Our Cavalier King Charles Spaniels have never looked better! The dogs are VERY picky about who they like, but they LOVE Lisa and so do we. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a mobile groomer in the area. We also used the pet sitting service for a full week to care for our Bill Terrier while we were out of town and they exceeded our expectations, once again. The owner, groomers and pet sitters are all incredible and we can’t say enough great things about their services!

Brand new residents to McKinney! Saw one of the Backyard mobile pet grooming trucks and decided to give them a try. Sabrina did an amazing job with both our Wire hair fox terriers! Our Gus is a bit of a fuss budget and she charmed him into letting her cut his nails! That’s a biggie! I will never go back to a sticks and bricks groomer! Communication for appointments is 5 star

They took good care of my diabetic cat with his medication. I always get visit updates and pictures of my pets while away from home. I've just recently started using Backyard Home and Pet sitting for dog visits while at work and I could not be more satisfied. We had a meet and greet with the dogs which I appreciated and the dogs seemed to be just fine with him. I have an older dog that occasionally has elimination issues and he has already had to deal with that and did a great job. I know my dogs are well taken care of, the house is secure and they always seem fine and happy when I get home. Backyard Pet sitting is easy to contact,they also reach out to me to verify my schedule and are very reliable. It's very comforting to go to work knowing my "kids" will be well taken care of.

This Company is by far the best thing that has ever happened to us with regard to pet grooming. Mary is amazing!!! We have a, shall we say, very high spirited 9 month old Collie Puppy!! He is very skittish!! I don't know how she does it, but I put that puppy in the van and a couple of hours later Mary opens the door and he reappears and looks like a new dog!! In addition to amazing grooming, they are very efficient and easy to do business with! We tried so many different groomers with our other dogs and were never satisfied. I wish they were still here and we could introduce them to Backyard Pets!! The only way we would ever use another groomer is if this one fired us!! LOL. Thanks so much for what you do and the way you do it!!

We boarded our dog at Pup Shack, and it was a great experience! We felt so comfortable leaving him there and we knew he would be well taken care of! From the moment we met Sheena and her husband, we could tell they truly loved animals and would treat our pup like family. Highly highly recommend!

We absolutely love and adore The Pup Shack. We rescued our dog named Goose in February. Finding a place for him to play with furry friends while away at work that didn’t mimic or feel like a shelter that Goose has been in many times before was very important to us. We love seeing how excited Goose gets when he knows he’s going to daycare and the joy we feel when picking him up knowing he’s had the best day ever. The Pup Shack has been everything and more and we thank Sheena, Chris, John & Penelope for being so good to our Goose. Will definitely continue our furry play dates and can not wait to see what the future has in store for The Pup Shack. 💙

We had a great experience with the Pup Shack. We had an initial temperament visit with the facility before scheduling our dog to board there for a week, and I know that Sheena and Kris took great care of him. We were sent pictures daily and I know that the dog had a great time playing with all of his new friends!

This was our first time to use the Pup Shack and we are so glad we found them! We loved meeting Sheena, Kris, and their couple of employees in our pre-boarding meeting-they clearly love what they do. They have a great system in place to allow the animal guest to feel loved, secure, and get to enjoy lots of playtime, too, with other pup friends! Our dog came home exhausted and happy. The bonus of it all was the daily photos we received of our dog-he was smiling in every photo, clearly having a great time! Sheena & her crew love on my babies and give them a safe environment to play and relax while we are away. I always get a warm fuzzy feeling and my babies are happy at drop off and at pick up. Platinum Paw is wonderful! Snoop loves Melanie! He can be very nervous with new people and is protective, but Melanie has not only earned his trust, she’s his new BFF because he loves his walks (or zig-zags) she takes him on. I’ve been out of town several times for a few days and I always know Snoop is in good hands, plus I get detailed updates and pics while I’m gone.

My experience with The Platinum Paw has been great. Mel our sitter was available last minute when someone else fell through. Mel was super friendly, my dog loved her attention and enthusiasm. I would recommend Mel and TPP to anyone.

Platinum Paw is the best doggie sitting service in the mckinney area! The owner has watched my babies since 2019 and recently her staff started watching them whenever I need them! One of our babies has cancer so when we aren’t home, they’ve helped so much by coming by and checking on him and my other pup! They send lots of pictures and updates! They are such caring and loving people! Grateful for Melanie and her staff!

We recently returned from a 13 day vacation. Before leaving, I was concerned about leaving our fur babies for so long. My concerns were totally alleviated. Iqra, Jewel and Melanie were so great with Bonnie, our 11 year old dog, and our two cats, Zeke and Sierra, that our pets were a little depressed that we came home. They missed their loving, caring and affectionate sitters! But that was a good thing. It showed how well cared for they were. Even our reclusive cat, who always runs and hides under the bed when someone else is in the house, allowed herself to be petted. That is a first! We were sent many pictures and texts, which showed how happy our babies were. All were appreciated. I highly recommend these wonderful ladies and thank them for allowing us to relax and better enjoy our vacation! I will definitely request their services the next time we need them.

I have 4 special needs cats that require a lot of care. I don't trust many people to care for them and Melanie is the top of my list! She loves on them, medicates them and even sucks out noses when necessary. I never have to stress when she is watching them. I also love all the picture updates from each visit.

We have taken our three dogs to Castle Creek for the three years we lived in McKinney. It is an outstanding place to take your dog for boarding or playing during the day. You can tell when you walk in by the spotless reception area that they pay attention to details. I never like being away from my dogs, but I never hesitated to call Castle Creek when we needed to board them. Last week was our last visit as we are moving out of state. I took my dog here twice before the COVID pandemic. I stopped going the second time because I was not happy with the grooming done on my dog. I moved back to the area and decided to give them another try. The staff that greeted us upon arrival were kind and friendly. Unfortunately, once again, I was not happy with the grooming. My dog’s coat had a white residue on it. It appeared he was not rinsed well. The white residue dried up and became flakey. In addition, I was charged for a service that was not completed. I emailed the company the same day and expressed my concerns. I asked if I can take my dog back for another bath. I did not get a reply. I called five days later. I was informed they “did not get the email”. Although, it was sent successfully on my end. I received a call back later that afternoon and was offered a refund for the service that was not performed. There was no mention of my dog’s coat and the residue nor was there an apology. I will not be returning.

My dog has gone to Castle Creek for daily daycare since she was a puppy and she’s 4 years old now and she loves it and she adores the owner and staff! The spacious private rooms and natural grass to run on, as well as outstanding professionalism, are what makes Castle Creek different and better than any other facility in the area. They treat their dogs and owners as family and they have truly become part of our family! They take time to understand each dog and owner to make sure their services are customized for maximum care of their clients. I am just one of a group of “regulars” whose dogs attend daycare daily and have for years and I recommend Castle Creek very highly and always suggest them to family, friends and coworkers. I don’t board my dog very often but when I do they are top notch and take excellent care of my baby when I am traveling. Their grooming staff is also excellent! Overall I give my highest recommendation to Castle Creek as a customer for over 4 years.

I preferentially bring my dogs here when I go out of town. Scott and Amy take excellent care of them and treat them like their own dogs. My shy, dog, Ripley, actually can't wait to get out of the car and see them when we go. Amy sends me photos so I know they're doing okay. Ripley is the top, far-right dog rolling in the grass; and Ellie is the bottom, far-left dog barking at her mates.

We were very delighted with our experience at Pawsome. We can be very detailed-oriented when it comes to leaving our pets with others, and Joy and her staff were very accommodating from orientation to pick-up. We set up a meet-n-greet and tour of the facility several weeks in advance, and our two dogs were embraced and exhibited positive energy right from the start. The facility is well-maintained, clean, and well-supervised. It is not a job for the staff but a passion. The ongoing camera footage brings peace of mind, and the consistent messages allowed us to enjoy our vacation with sound hearts and minds.

I 100% recommend Pawsome, Mr. Bruce is amazing he was very attentive to Leo’s needs and they take awesome pictures for you daily with cute texts. You also have access to the cameras 24/7 and you’re able to talk to your pet as well through the camera. Leo came home super happy. I give Pawsome Pet Resort & Boarding 5 stars. I almost never write reviews but I felt that I needed to in this case. The major factors that contributed to the 5 star rating include excellent communication, timeliness, and care. My wife and I needed to board our dogs for two nights with little notice. I contacted Pawsome Pet Resort who responded immediately. I was able to get my dogs health records to them quickly and they gave me all the information needed for my dogs stay. Pawsome Pet Resort has at home vibe with people who seem to truly love animals. They have a separate building just for the dogs with AC/heat and individual dog runs. They also have large fenced in areas for the dogs to play or to play separated if needed. They also have cameras for you to watch your pets in the boarding area if you want to check in on them. Whenever you have questions or concerns they gave me a group chat to text to which they responded to very quickly. I mean extremely fast. Not only that but they would send pictures of the dogs often either in the kennel or in the fenced in area playing. I really cant say enough about this place. If you need a place for your dogs to stay. Look no further. They are great.

Lucky to have found this place to board our 2 Boston Terriers, Luka & Fred! Joy and her staff went above and beyond to make sure that our babies were loved and comfortable. This was the first time for us to board our doggies (since training) and we were a nervous wreck, but the cameras and the ability to check on them was such a bonus. Their facilities and kennels were clean and cold for the hot summer. One of our dogs has daily meds and they texted us each time they administered. I’ve never boarded our dogs before, so I was very nervous about using anyone. Pawsome was amazing! They loved on and played with our pups. I have used Pawsome Pet Resort a few times now for my three dogs. They do a great job! The dogs are well taken care of in a safe and cool environment (for the summer). I get daily updates with pictures of how they are doing as well as access to the kennels camera to check on them when I like. I feel very confident leaving my pups here.

We have brought our dog here regularly for daycare and many times for boarding over the past 3.5 years. He absolutely LOVES coming and practically leaps in the arms of a few of the girls that work there when I drop him off! I love how much time he gets to be outside playing with other dogs his size and temperament. I also love that they have an active social media page and regularly post pictures and videos.

What an amazing place! Kim and her crew always take great care of or crazy boy Elmer when we have to go out of town. They also do a really good job of posting pictures and providing updates while he’s there. He absolutely loves it there and comes home worn out from playing with his friends. I have been bringing my dogs to Companion K9 for about 10 years. I can’t say enough great things about the facility, the owner Kim and all the awesome people that care for the dogs in every way. Their love and attention to each and every dog on an individual basis is insurmountable! I know when I bring my dog Tucker here that he is safe and loved. Luke’s first time being away from home so I was a little bit nervous. I had absolutely nothing to worry about! He was so well cared for. The pictures and updates on Facebook were a treasure so I could see he was playing with the other dogs and enjoying running in the large open area. Their patience with an eight month old large husky who talks back was incredible! Highly recommend!!!

Love this place! We’ve been taking my dog here for a few months now and everyone I’ve met here is so nice, including the owner Kim. Our dog loves coming here every week for daycare and is pooped when she gets home, which is a good sign she’s having a good time! They post pictures of the dogs on Facebook which are fun to see, and they have lots of land and separate areas for the dogs to go in. My dog is medium sized but definitely more on the timid side, and they’ve done a good job of noting that and putting her with the smaller dogs. A very cute family-owned business that seems to have a lot of care for the dogs. We won’t be going anywhere else!

I was in town for a few months for work and needed a day time dog sitter every day of the week. This is usually some thing that stresses me out as I want the best care for my Pomeranian. Thankfully I found this company and they have been amazing! I can always tell my Pom comes home happy and worn out. The photos are fun to see on their Facebook page. His daily visits look like a doggy summer camp, it’s so cute. You can definitely tell each dog is getting the attention they need. I would give more stars if I could. I had to relocate and needed a place to board my baby puppy for an extended stay. I say baby, he's an older chocolate lab mix. I wanted somewhere where he could have a chance to run around outside, and be well taken care of. Companion K-9 totally fit the bill - while I missed my best buddy tremendously, I took heart knowing he was enjoying himself and being taken care of in the best fashion possible. There is plenty of room for the dogs to run around outside and socialize, and the owner (Kim) regularly posts pictures of the dogs on Facebook. Kim and her staff supervise and interact with the dogs throughout the day. It's such a huge relief to know that he is happy and doing well - I would recommend Companion K-9 without reservation for anyone looking for short term stay, daycare, or longer term boarding for their dog.

This is our 3rd experience with Companion K-9, and we have always been so happy. We originally took our basset hound to Kim back in 2006 for some training, and have used them ever since. We really appreciate the love and care that our two dogs receive when they are with Companion K-9. The facilities are great (it makes us feel great knowing that they are part of a HOME environment, not just a standard run-of-the-mill kennel), and they LOVE running around outside and playing with other dogs all day. Kim and everyone else at Companion K-9 have got a great thing going, and as always, we are quite pleased. I highly recommend them for anyone wanting their dogs to receive the same love and care that they receive at home. Thanks, Companion K-9!

this is our second time boarding both our dogs with Companion. both come back to us happy and healthy. Our American bully loves getting to spend time in the large yard with other dogs while our smaller mutt looks forward to her time in the house. The owners are very good about giving up updates on how each are doing and sharing pictures. They treat the dogs like family and cannot give a better endorsement than that.

We are VERY thankful to have found Companion K-9 to board our dog when we can’t take her along on a trip. She always comes back in good spirits and has improved social skills! The staff is attentive, friendly, and hard working!

Elyse has stayed at my house a few times as well as come for day visits to feed the boys. She is amazing with my crew. They love her. My favorite thing is all the pictures she sends. I have one boy that is timid and he warmed right up to her. Highly recommend her.

Randy is great with my dogs! It’s so nice to be able to leave for a weekend & know my pets can stay in their own home & still get outside & fed twice a day! Randy is so great with our dogs Gracey and Gunner. Also great taking care of our bird Jojo. Our dogs love him and he gives our dogs the attention they need when we are away. He also will send you pictures/videos of your fur babies while you are away. Absolutely great company to be with.

Absolutely LOVE this service! Our dogs really love Randy!!! It took our boxer a little bit to get used to him (as it does any stranger) but after he gave them both love and treats, both our dogs warmed up to him. He gives our dogs loves when we are away, gives them many treats, and lets them out to potty multiple times a day (as needed per request). His prices are VERY reasonable. He even turns on different lights in the house to make it seem as if people are home when we are on vacation. For anyone in Mckinney area, let this company watch your pets. Don’t board them :)

Randy is the best with our two pets and always sits with them and spends "quality time" while he is here. It really helps to take the stress out of leaving the pets alone knowing that they have Randy to come in and take care of them while we are away.. Very trustworthy
