Lisa was an amazing host. We had an opportunity to stay with her before she left us with the 3 dogs. She showed us several places to walk the dogs and I learned so much not only about Aston, Charlie and Nula but about the beautiful country of Portugal. Our daily walks on the beach and countryside were magical. Aston and Charlie were well trained and lovable dogs. We also watched a puppy who was a fun bundle of energy. We would return in a heart beat.
Jayda was very thoughtful and accommodating for my sit with Sal and Gomez - the house was very clean and she left a bunch of snacks for me(including eggs from her chickens). Sal is a sweet little guy - little nervous at times (esp. when I was packing up to leave), but this is normal for any pet away from their owners. Gomez wasn't sure of me for a few hours, but didn't take long for him to be purring and wanting pets (don't boop his nose, he's not a fan haha). The 2 of them play and love each other. I would say the only issue I had was the stray dogs outside barking in the middle of the night on occasion, and I made the mistake of leaving Sal's water out at night so he woke me up too to go to the bathroom (totally my fault--he was nervous and probably drinking water in the night). I stayed in the bedroom with the large TV, where there was also a desk for me to work. I also hung out on the porch with them (including Gretchen who's one of the strays Jayda takes care of--Gretchen is very sweet and lovable). This is definitely a rural spot, so just make sure to stock up on your essentials since it's not close to any stores. I enjoyed the peace and quiet. Thank you Jayda for everything!
Thank you Catherine for allowing us to house sit for you. Gizmo was a perfect treat. He is a real pleasure. The accomodation and area were fantastic. We had a thoroughly relaxing time.

Christine is a wonderful host and the house is very well located. We walked everywhere. Rusty has a lovely temperament and is very well behaved. He enjoys long walks and never tires of playing and fetching ball. We had a fantastic time. Thank you for letting us look after Rusty, we enjoyed his company very much.
The perfect stay! Sassy cat and Sadie are the best animals to sit with. Sassy cat will take longer to accept you, but if you're patient she will be a loving and cute cat. The house is great and close from the beach, there are lots of trails around to enjoy. And you get fresh eggs with the poultry everyday which is amazing!
