Our experience pet sitting Ronnie and Rocky was nothing short of delightful! From the moment we met Mark, who kindly explained all the details and handed over the keys, to the gracious lift Alyson gave us on our departure, the entire experience was smooth and accommodating. Ronnie and Rocky, the dynamic duo, stole our hearts with their playful antics and affectionate nature. Despite their small stature, their personalities shone brightly. Both welcomed us with wagging tails and eager snuggles. During our two-day pet sit, we made sure to give Ronnie and Rocky plenty of love and attention. Daily walks in the morning and evening not only provided them with exercise but also allowed us to explore the neighbourhood together. Their excitement during these outings was contagious, making each stroll a joyous adventure. What truly stood out was Alyson and Mark's generosity in allowing us to use their car for the duration of the pet sit. This gesture made transportation a breeze and enhanced our overall experience. In conclusion, pet sitting Ronnie and Rocky was an absolute pleasure. Their friendly demeanour, coupled with the kindness of their owners, made for a memorable and rewarding experience. We would wholeheartedly recommend pet sitting for Ronnie and Rocky to any fellow animal lover.
Watching Posey was a dream! She was so cute and snuggly. She’s a great listener and if she ever needs some extra convincing, a couple of treats will help guide her where she needs to go. Working with Stacey was easy and her home was gorgeous and lovely to stay in. A 2 mn walk to the beach and just 20mn drive into the city. Would definitely recommend Posey and Stacey!
Bear is a sweet-natured British Blue / British Shorthair with lovely amber eyes. She is mainly an indoor cat, very good company and loves to be brushed. After two days she was sleeping on my bed which was great. Kate’s home is within easy walking distance of the Grand Union Canal as well as the Wendover Arm and the narrower Marsworth canal. I really enjoyed my walk along the towpaths as there were many boats going through the locks. For sitters without a car, there is a bus stop about 4 minutes walk from Kate’s house. On Mon-Sat there is a bus every two hours to/from Tring train station (journey takes 17 mins). On Sundays and public holidays there is no bus service so you need to get a taxi which costs £8-9 one way. As the train station is located a distance to the east of the town centre, it is a 45 minute walk to and from the station which is of course doable if you do not have a lot of luggage to carry.
It was an absolute pleasure to house and pet sit for Lynne, Adam and their wonderful cat Henry. Communication was easy and relaxed straight from the start and we arrived to an exceptionally warm welcome and a delicious home cooked dinner. They are both extremely interesting and knowledgeable people and I felt like we had known them for years. They made a special effort to talk to Charlotte and make her feel involved, even fetching a box of toys out of the attic for her to play with. They gave us clear instructions for Henry’s care and some great information on local attractions and events. Their house is lovely; very comfortable and spotlessly clean. They live in a nice quiet area and the city centre of Bristol and all of the local attractions is only a 15 minute drive away. There is plenty to do, including Bristol Zoo and SS Great Britain, as well as the many shopping areas. Their garden is full of produce that we were told to make use of and there are some lovely woodland walks straight from the house. Henry is a very independent and easy cat to care for. He is very friendly and enjoyed sitting with us in the evenings. The fish only need to be fed once or twice a day and do not need any special care and are a joy to sit and watch. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Bristol and would certainly recommend this sit for Lynne, Adam and Henry.

I had the wonderful pleasure of dog sitting Nugget and it was an absolute joy! 🖤 Nugget is a bundle of energy wrapped in a furr coat, with a personality as bright as the sun. From the moment I arrived, Nugget greeted me and with a smile that instantly melted my heart. One of the highlights of Nugget's stay was watching her and pup Cortez play! They hit it off immediately, running circles around the backyard and engaging in playful wrestling matches that had us all laughing. It was heartwarming to see how well they complemented each other's energy levels and personalities. Nugget is such a love bug and cuddler, as well as natural guard where I felt so safe and protected! The only time she barked was indoor- if she heard some noises which I appreciated. But I never once had an issue with her when on walks with barking or other dogs!! She is a gem 🖤 I hope to be back soon and wish I could have stayed longer! The location is amazing, and walking school is 110%! Overall, my experience dog sitting Nugget was nothing short of amazing. Her friendly demeanor, endless energy, and loving personality left a lasting impression. I can't wait for the next opportunity to spend time with Nugget and Cortez playing together again!
