Theresa
Theresa's home is in a lovely, quiet village, and within only a few hundred metres of flat stroll to the beach. Prime location! Recent floods in the area had caused disruption in the village, and it was clear a big community effort had gone into restoration. The main living areas of Theresa's home are upstairs, so fortunately protected. Renovations were nearing completion when we stayed, which will make for a very comfortable living experience. Complete with an impressive mini rain forest in the back yard, developed through well-chosen plantings by Theresa over a number of years.
Archie was reserved at first, but was easy to win over through his love of ball play. The nearby beach is dog friendly and indifferent weather meant there were few other dogs or people about. We had some great wide ranging stick and ball games. Both Archie and Leo were totally easy on lead.
Leo is at an age when getting around is not so easy for him, but he nonetheless stayed by our sides, even as we moved around inside the house. As a faithful stoic, Leo won our hearts.
Communication with Theresa was easy, and she was welcoming and appreciative of our efforts. Although only a short stay, all agreed it was a good one!

Alexis was very kind and easy going. Her home was cute, comfortable and conveniently located. Mars is such a great dog, very attentive and awesome adventure buddy. Would definitely sit for them again!

My husband and I had the absolute pleasure of house and dog sitting in this lovely apartment, and we couldn't be happier with our experience. From the beautiful living space to the delightful canine companion, Bonnie, everything about our stay was simply amazing.

The apartment was clean, well-maintained, and perfectly located. We appreciated its proximity to everything we needed, from the supermarket and public transportation (tram and bus) to beautiful parks and a vibrant selection of bars and restaurants. Being just a 10-minute tram ride away from Zurich's main train station was incredibly convenient for our explorations around the city.

The real highlight of our stay, however, was the warm and welcoming owner of the apartment Cody, and of course, Bonnie, their wonderful dog. We cannot express enough how kind and accommodating they were throughout our time there. Their genuine hospitality made us feel at home from the moment we arrived.

Bonnie, the adorable canine member of the house, stole our hearts completely. She is a truly remarkable dog – affectionate, loving, and incredibly easy to bond with. Bonnie was a perfect companion during our stay, always eager for walks and affection. Her trust and gentle nature made us fall in love with her instantly. She will be missed!

We can't recommend this house and dog sitting experience enough. To the owners and Bonnie, a heartfelt thank you for making our stay so special.

Jennifer
I'd give this sit 6 stars if I could! Communicating with Jen throughout was easy and streamlined, and the Welcome Guide was thorough and organized. The apartment--and its view--are gorgeous, and the location is perfect. Of course, Emma is the star of the show, greeting me at the door every time with a toy from her bin and an excited whimper. I couldn't have asked for a sweeter, more affectionate, and easy-going companion this week in Nashville and would happily return anytime. Thanks, y'all!

Michelle
My recent stay at Michelle's, arranged through TrustedHousesitter.com, was unfortunately not a positive experience. Initially, I was contacted by Michelle a week earlier than our planned start date. She explained that she no longer felt comfortable with the sitter she had previously arranged due to a last-minute review she read, and requested my help. Despite some initial red flags, I agreed to step in, mainly because I had a cancellation on Rover that freed up my schedule.Upon arrival, Michelle had allocated a sofa bed in a so-called "spare room" for me to sleep on. However, the room was far from welcoming, with only a couple of folded towels and unfolded linens provided. The sofa bed itself was old, embedded with pet hair, and I was left with just a fitted mattress pad to cover it. The discomfort from the sofa bed bars and the uncleanliness of the couch pads made it impossible for me to sleep on them.Despite these accommodations, I enjoyed my time with Mimi and Coco, Michelle's pets. I fulfilled my responsibilities by taking them on daily walks and even agreed to an extension of my stay at Michelle's request. However, an incident occurred where both pets escaped through the front door while I was momentarily occupied, due to a faulty bolt. Thankfully, I managed to retrieve them swiftly after being alerted by a neighbor. The situation took a turn for the worse when Michelle informed me that Mimi had been injured, accusing me of negligence. I reassured Michelle that Mimi was perfectly fine when I left, supported by photos I had sent her that morning showing a playful and uninjured Mimi.Michelle's formal complaint against me was both shocking and offensive, particularly in light of the already lacking respect and consideration for house sitters evident in my accommodation. As someone who has been house and pet sitting for several years without issue, this experience was disheartening. The accusatory aftermath have left me with a negative impression of TrustedHousesitter.com, making me reconsider future engagements through the platform. This has been my first negative review, prompted by a desire to help others avoid similar troubling experiences. The lack of consideration and unfair accusations from a host have made this a stay to remember for all the wrong reasons, casting doubt on my future bookings with TrustedHousesitter.com.

Wonderful experience! Opie and Tommy are absolute angels. Opie is so loving and will hang out with you around the house; he's the perfect mix of energy for both an active or chilled lifestyle. Tommy is a bit shy at first but incredibly sweet once he warms up to you, and very easy-going. The house itself is cozy and inviting, and is located in a private, gated neighborhood in one of the safest areas of Los Angeles. The lively and historic downtown Culver City is just a few minutes drive or 30 minute walk away. Amber was a great host and was very thorough with orienting me with everything. I highly recommend this housesit!
