Dog Sitters in Mechanicsburg, PA

Bow Wow, Meow (Debbie and Roger) looked after our Teddy for the first time this month. It was a Wonderful experience for us and for Teddy too. We wanted to visit our new grandson in Germany and would be away for 12 days. We were apprehensive about leaving Teddy in a standard kennel for that long, but It helped a lot with our separation anxiety to know that Teddy would be getting the loving attention of Debbie and Roger. Deb made a genuine effort to make our little fur baby safe, comfortable and happy in her home. Knowing that they are available to give such great care to Teddy we are already planning our next trip…

Deborah has been taking care of my two girls (kitties) since I moved to Mechanicsburg a year an a half ago. I am military and travel ALOT for work on short notice. She never over charges me, has a key to my home, even brings in my packages and I have never asked her to do that.I trust her completely and would never consider going anywhere else. She sends me pictures of my girls when I am away, which bring me joy, and she goes above and beyond. She has gone to the store to buy floor cleaner to clean up messes (of course I reimbursed her) and on one trip away the piping froze and no water was running to the house so she brought it in. Can not say enough wonderful things about Debbie. She has been the best pet sitter experience I have ever had.

I cannot say enough about Debbie and Roger! They are absolutely wonderful caring people. I am over the top protective of my “Diva Yorkie” (Miah), and when I leave her in their care at Bow Wow Meow I know she is in the best care I could possibly ask for. It’s a wonderful feeling not to worry when I am away that Miah is protected, loved, and cared for like she gets at home. I highly recommend!

We were so nervous to board our dog since it was his first time away from home overnight, but after meeting Roger and Debbie, it was clear that our dog was in good hands. We received text updates throughout the weekend and loved that he had one on one attention. We will definitely be using them again!

Debbie and Roger often took care of our dog -Sasha - until they left NC. Since they moved to PA we haven't found a pet sitter that Sasha likes as much as she likes them. We miss them. They are caring and trustworthy, I absolutely recommend them.

Highly recommend. Our dog Philly always has the best time playing and getting attention from staff. He’s always excited when we arrive which is proof he enjoys his time there. The video and photo updates make my day when I’m away from him. We wouldn’t take him anywhere else.

Mac loved his stay at Greenlin West Mechanicsburg! The daily updates eased my mind and allowed me to enjoy my vacation. Mac loves to swim and what great exercise. I knew he would be content and entertained. The staff is excellent and I would highly recommend Greenling West for boarding.

I was really scared to leave Kona at a boarding facility. We’ve had experiences in the past that were not so great. Kona can be quite the anxious pup. We have heard about Greenlin before and about how wonderful it was. I’m not sure why we didn’t go with them in the first place. Kona certainly enjoyed his time there! With the photo updates that we got from Greenlin put our mind at ease that he was doing just fine! They put in a lot of effort to make sure that your dog is comfortable and placing them with other dogs that they would do well with. We were very pleased with our visit and will definitely use them again in the future. We call it his sleep away camp!

Axel loves his vacations at Greenlin West. He loves all of the staff and from what they tell us they all like and enjoy him too. We are so thankful for all they do!!

Our first time boarding here while on vacation. The text messages with pictures did wonders to help us feel at ease. Will definitely use again.

We had a prior bad experience at another kennel, so I was a little nervous about leaving Grace while we went away. However, the staff at Greenlin West were incredible! A few hours into the first day, they called us to let us know how Grace was doing, and we were able to see pictures of her daily! We don’t go away much, but when we do, Grace will definitely be staying at Greenlin! It’s so comforting knowing they have your pet’s best interest in mind and they really love what they do! I highly recommend them to anyone!!

Our dog absolutely loves Greenlin West, he always has such a good time and they take excellent care of him him. Update: we have since used this place a dozen more times! Still very happy! They are so friendly and take such good care of my puppers!

Greenlin has been THE BEST PLACE FOR OUR LITTLE BOY Tux! We are completely comfortable leaving our sweet boy in their care!! We are so appreciative of the care and attention!! Tux is a happy boy to go to “puppy camp to play with friends “. ...And we are happy to see on his report card how much fun he had!! The best little gifts are daily updates from them with photos, and his little bedtime stories! This particular stay, he had a birthday party with his puppy friends!! This is just an AMAZING PLACE!! The staff is friendly and attentive…the environment is very clean and inviting. 🐕🐾🐾.🐾🐾

My 11 year old dog has been coming to Greenlin his whole life. He absolutely loves it, and so do I! The love & care your fur baby receives is the next best thing to home. 💜 You design your dog’s stay at the resort. There’s activities galore for the highly energetic, including an in-house swimming pool! There’s always something fun for them over any holiday. All of the staff across all the locations are fantastic. Greenlin West location just had my boy for an extended stay, and they were truly phenomenal. Daily updates with pics of your pet having fun, and progress reports for the doggie daycare. Five star service & establishment….I wouldn’t take my dog anywhere else. (nor would he go!) I highly recommend Greenlin Pet Resorts to anyone with a pooch!

Winston loves to be at the kennel. He made lots of friends. The staff shows a lot of love for Winston. They play with him. We will always use the kennel for Winston.

Our dog just loves it there. They're so kind, trustworthy, and knowledgeable. We can go on vacation with the comfort of knowing he is in very good hands.

I highly recommend Farmview Kennels. This is a family run business with a heart and passion. They took wonderful care of our kitty while we were away. We we totally at peace knowing Snuggles was in good hands!

I had to board my cat for a long stay. I was finding it difficult to find a place where she would be comfortable for so long. This facility was a Godsend! The owners and staff are amazing people who love animals. They took incredible care of our cat. She had a spacious place to stay where she could move about instead of being put in a small contained area. I’m grateful to have found Farm View Kennels and highly recommend!

We loved Farm View Kennels! We are from out of state and had no one to watch our dogs when we left town, so leaving them somewhere where we don’t know anyone was a bit scary for us. Lisa and her team were very welcoming and helpful through the whole process and loved on our dogs like their own. The second time we brought our dogs back for boarding, they were so excited to return. We are sad we had to move out of the area because we would continue to bring our dogs back because of the love they were shown here!!

Absolutely love Farm View! Locally owned and the owners are so incredibly personable. They get to know our dogs and give us great reports after boarding. They are clearly passionate about caring for our pets. Highly recommend.

FVK is amazing. I love it there and so does my pup. They always go above and beyond and I know my dogs is well taken care of.

We used Farmview for the first time with our Shepard. Lisa and chad were great with him! They answered all of our questions and gave us a tour of their kennel. Beautiful setting, clean and friendly staff. It’s such a relief to leave our fur baby and not worry. Highly recommended!

Our golden retriever Murphy loves going to the Greenlin Pet Resort in Camp Hill. The facility is clean and the staff is very friendly. Murphy has been there for doggy daycare and extended overnights. We recently went on vacation for a week and received a daily text update with pictures and this provided us with comfort knowing he was having a good time.

Thank you Greenlin for taking Very Good care of my Bossi while I was in the hospital I appreciate you all. She must have had a wonderful time because she is pooped. And Bossi looks Great. See you soon for play time.

Our girls had a great time at Greenlin Camp Hill. We loved getting the text updates with photos each day and will be using Greenlin for any future trips we take!

We love using Greenlin Camp Hill for all our boarding and doggy daycare needs! I know Lagatha is going to have a great time, be well cared for and they always keep me informed on how her stay is going. I also love getting pictures or videos every day and seeing her smiling face.

Its convenience, flexibility, affordability, makes my dog happy and welcoming.

I really appreciate the care that Evie gets at Greenlin pet resorts. The Camp Hill staff is very friendly and Evie loves them. With my work schedule Greenlin keeps Evie safe, entertained and expend her energy so she rests well when she gets home.

Jefferson appears to love Greenlin visits. During his week long stay I appreciated the daily pictures/updates and being able to view images on flicker. He was good when he returned home. Appears he was eating his meals and was happy. He was very tired for a day or two but that’s expected when he has been playing with other dogs and in a different environment for a week. Greenlin took great care of our sweet boy and we appreciate that!

10 day stay. Received pics every day. He was returned safely & sound without any drama! We will be very comfortable leaving him in the future when we go to Unfriendly hotels!

Packed individual feeding portions like I always do, dated with the time for feeding. I informed the staff upon arrival that he ate already that morning. When I picked him up it was prior to dinner time.. so I should have had one bag remaining. The staff had no clue what happened to his leftover food. So annoying!!!!! He gets expensive food not store kibble so it’s very annoying that they either over fed him or fed it to another dog.

This was our dogs first overnight stay. Of course, we were nervous parents. Our dogs are spoiled and have never been away from us. Greenlin sent us these pictures which made us feel better. We picked up our dogs and they are happy and they don't seem to hate us, so I think it was a success 😍 …

Paisley always had the best times with you guys! your team always energetically greet her when she walks through the door! She is always in good hands. The staff is so good with the pups! Facility is clean and provides your pups with plenty of activity throughout the day.

Thank you to the incredible staff for the warm welcome you gave Sam during our visit to the area this past weekend. This location is convenient and the atmosphere is very friendly and professional. We’re so happy to find a Dogtopia location when we travel. We knew Sam would be in great caring hands and have fun at the same time!

Excellent customer service! Really nice staff members who work there. It is obvious they care about my dog. Gave me lots of really helpful information, and it's great to be able to see my dog during the day while I'm at work.

Update in response to the business reply: My foster dog Jude has been in my home for 6 weeks, so their reasoning for denying him still does not apply. Instead of communicating that policy to me or even ASKING how long Jude had been in my home for, they automatically told me fosters aren't permitted to attend. This business has very poor communication and it's clear staff are not informed of the policies in place. I was told they do not accept foster dogs, but they failed to provide any proof of this policy or reasoning behind it. After I got a manager involved, they suddenly were open to discussing it. It’s clear either the employee I spoke to is woefully uninformed or making a conscious effort to discriminate against foster and rescue dogs. Definitely don’t recommend them to anyone with a rescue dog, check out Greenlin Pet Resorts instead!

Bean absolutely loves Doggy Daycare! I couldn’t ask for a better place to watch my Wife and I’s Dog! I know he is well taken care of and I don’t have to worry. The staff there is very helpful and friendly. If I could rate this daycare higher than 5 stars I would. Bean has become more comfortable around others since going to daycare. We always enjoy watching him on the cameras and love the events they have for the dogs. We LOVE Dogtopia!!

Everyone is wonderful. We're glad we decided on Dogtopia for us and our dog. In the morning, we only need to ask our dog, "Do you want to go to the playground? ", and he immediately becomes super-excited. He can't wait to get back to the his play room. My coworkers think it's awesome when I switch on the webcam at work. He is undoubtedly so exhausted from all of the trotting, barking, drinking, and cuddling that he sleeps until the following morning, when we ask him if he is ready to go again. Additionally, we've had him groomed with Dogtopia when he was having a playday, which is quite convenient.

My doggos love their coaches at Dogtopia - they always give big hugs and go straight back. So grateful for the car they give my babies!

My pup loves attending all of the events Dogtopia puts on! He is always well taken care of, and I love being able to watch him on the webcams throughout the day.

The staff here are absolutely fantastic! They take great care of my golden retriever. My dog is still young and can get over-stimulated so the staff have been paying extra attention to her to give her more breaks. Madeleine, the general manager, personally calls me to give me updates and sends me pictures of my dog. I also like that they have Webcams so I can check in throughout the day. I just wish they had a bigger facility with some outdoor space for the dogs.

Here to provide a review, really more of a warning about Canine Clubhouse in Mechanicsburg. We used them for many years. However... On May 21st I received a call from Nigel at 4:30am in AZ and he said I need to pick up Sophie, our 3yr old lab asap. She had a tape worm and they were "slammed", couldn't deal with it. Got son to take off work and pick up Sophie. Bought a plane ticket for wife to fly home. $500+ one way ticket. Had a buddy babysit Sophie in the afternoon. wife got home very late. Wife missed 6 days of a family vacation we planned for almost a year. Because Canine Clubhouse was "slammed". She missed the grandkids kids seeing Grand Canyon the first time. Because Nigel was slammed. She missed the ATV ride we all did together. You can't make that up; it's missed forever. We talked to our Vet, they were shocked. They said tape worm is very common, especially in kennels and it's an easy treatment. Our new kennel was also shocked. They never heard of a kennel not taking care of the dog for the owner. You've been warned. Canine Club House doesn't care. If they get "slammed", plan on picking up your dog. Just hope you're not on a once in a lifetime vacation and a 5hr flight away and a 2hr drive from BWI. They don't care.

I’ve been taking my Dogs here for 3-4 years now. The staff are so friendly and treat my fur babies like their own!

On the way home, Gage told us all about it. He made lots of friends and loved all the employees there. He loved the fact that they also offered other services like grooming. He already has his next appointments there booked. Currently he is fighting sleep on the way home.

Wonderful staff!! They go above and beyond to provide great care and a great experience for both me and my pup.

Just started taking my dog here to get him used to other puppies. Over the past few weeks, I have noticed him getting better and more comfortable being away from us during the day. He did his first overnight stay in preparation for a much longer stay next week as we are going on vacation. I would definitely recommend their services and will continue to use them.

We have done doggie daycare once and boarded our dog twice here now. The employees are very friendly. Gage always comes home tired, which is nice for us. If you book far enough ahead, you can get your dog groomed right before you pick them up so they come home smelling great!

I cannot tell you loudly enough how thankful my husband and I are for the support and care this place gives our dogs. There was an altercation privately between my two dogs at bedtime, and one of their staff stayed as late as it took on a Saturday night for my husband and I to pick our two hooligans up so they could receive vet attention. We were not made to feel badly or guilty for asking to come get them- they truly wanted our two pups to have whatever attention they needed (it ended up being very minor- I am just a worrier). Dedication and love like that are what make a kennel great and this place has them abundantly.

Love the daycare and boarding options. Everyone treats our dog so well and she comes home tired!

They will do whatever they want with your dog and tell you days later. If you inform them of your dog having a health issue they apparently ignore it. If you are looking for a place with terrible and dishonest communication you can give them a try.

Love love this place and so do the dogs. Our German Shepherd and our mutt are always super excited when we pull up to the parking lot. Clean and spacious facility, good prices especially for multiple dogs. They're much better behaved at home when they go to day care once a week.

We recently moved to the area without knowing anyone. We have 2 dogs and 2 cats. I found Sonya through her Wags and Whiskers website and we are very fortunate to have found her! She is flexible, quick to respond, checks in frequently, and spends time with our pets. We feel at ease when we go out of town and confident in her ability to take care of them. We wouldn't consider looking for anyone else!

Sonya has been wonderful to work with!. There have been times when I need to leave town quickly, and she has always responded promptly to my requests and taken great care of my cat and my house while I am away. I highly recommend Wags and Whiskers for all your pet sitting needs!

We've been taking our beautiful Miss Wynn Lee, one year old German Weimaraner, to Noah's for more than half a year. Wynn LOVES day care about once each week, and she's also been kenneled during one of our week-long vacations. Wynn has made SO MANY pup friends, and it fills our hearts with joy to see her playing (we love their Facebook photo posts) as well as to see her tired during the evenings she visits Noah's. We even have them groom Wynn. All around satisfaction from Wynn's parents! THANK YOU to Noah's awesome staff (everyone we've met is super terrific) for taking such good care of our little girl aka The Beast. ;)

My beautiful 9-month old German Weimaraner Wynn has been at the Mechanicsburg facility multiple times. SHE LOVES IT! A happy puppy weim makes for an EXHILERATED Mother! ;) Every staff I've met here smiles, discusses the pup and her experience, and is kind. Every other customer I've talked to walking in/out with their pups RAVES about this place too! The Facebook photos are a BONUS, and I love sharing Wynn's pics for her day care experiences at Noah's Pet Hotel & Spa West, everything from playing with other happy pups to chasing bubbles to rolling on the ground with new pup friends to relaxing in the shade to enjoying the special attention from human friends. And the price is right... though, honestly, the experience is so 5* that the price is secondary. WARNING: if you go here, you will never go anywhere else, even if it means driving out of your way (which is why I GLADLY do). P.S. Yesterday Wynn was at puppy camp plus she stayed over night for the first time. It is now mid-day AND WYNN IS STILL NAPPING... OH HAPPY MOTHER! <3

This place is the best! My puppy has so much fun here. I love that he makes friends everyday. I purchased the unlimited pass and I am so excited that they offer it. It only makes sense. I take my puppy here m-f and I have trust that they take good care of him. He’s so worn out and tired when we get home that all he wants to do is eat dinner and go to bed. It makes me happy to know he’s getting great exercise. One thing I was a little sad about is my boy had sunburn on his nose. I’m hoping that maybe they can start applying it on his nose if I provide it. Overall do not hesitate this is the place to go!

Our dog Bella stayed from Sunday to Sunday at Noah's Pet Hotel & Spa West while we were out of town. We were so happy with her time there. She needs medication and they did an amazing job of caring for her. Highly recommend the La Carte Service for Daycare Group for their entertainment. We looked forward to seeing the daily pictures on the facebook page. We will definitely continue to take our fur baby to Noah's West.

I was pleasantly surprised when I brought Clover for her free day. The the facility was very clean and the girls that I spoke with are very knowledgeable. They kept me informed as how Clover was doing for the day. I am very happy. I have signed Clover up to continue to go there she seemed to have a very good time. I think her big smile says it all. Very happy I found Noah's pet hotel and spa for my baby.

1st week (1 day a week) visit for our 2 year old lab. He had an older brother who passed not long ago and our younger boy was missing him so we wanted to give him some companionship with other dogs. So far so good. We were able to see some photos of him playing with others on their Facebook. They spend time outside playing in groups which is pretty cool. We think he was still overly excited when he got home, ended up not keeping his meal down so we will have to see how that goes.

First-time dog owner here. I toured about 5-6 different daycare/kennels in the area and picked Noah’s because I liked how the facility was laid out and how the dogs get more personalized attention here. The kennels have access to outdoors which my dog loves. The staff really made him feel at home when he first started and even sat with him in his kennel to ease his anxiety. During boarding, they offer webcam access so that really eased MY anxiety. Everyone is friendly and very helpful.

I originally started bringing my boy here when he was a puppy, he was so happy to come every day. I did go on vacation to come back and my dog had kennel cough. No one called me or anything. They kind of just said to take him to the vet. I was really pissed about that for a while. Fast forward a year and a half later, after going to many other daycares my dog has the most fun here. They actually play with the dogs. It’s really good to see that they allow all the dogs to play together instead of segregating them. I will continue to bring my dog here even though I live an hour away. The staff are pretty friendly, more friendly to the dogs than people though. But in my eyes that’s what I care about most. The prices are very fair compared to other places around here charging $50 a day which is ridiculous. Again I love this daycare and never had any issues other than kennel cough that one time.

The registration process was easy and so was drop off and pick up. My dog was in for the weekend, so there was no social play, but I was able to pay a few dollars extra to get some one-on-one playtime. That is a great feature. I liked being able to check on my dog throughout the day (he was in a junior suite), although I could only see him when he was inside (not the outside portion of the suite). Noah's Pet Hotel fed my dog the food I brought in for him along with treats. I was very happy with his stay.

Noah’s provides excellent service to my two dogs. Always accommodating. My dogs always are happy to go. They wash them without hesitation every time I request them to before I pick them up. They are also very knowledgeable with my dogs. I never have to ask them to do things for my dogs. They stay on top of things and always care about the pets that stay there. I would highly recommend boarding your dog here.

We love taking our pup to Greenlin for daycare and boarding! The staff is so friendly, the facilities are clean, and they offer so many activities for the pups. Our dog is a GWP — so very high energy and needs tons of mental stimulation. I love receiving the report cards after every daycare and boarding stay. I trust Greenlin to take great care of my dog. I've used them for daycare and overnight several times and they are great at communicating with photos and videos during the stay. My dog can't get in the door fast enough when we arrive! Highly recommend.

Rudy loves going to Greenlin no matter if it’s for a day or longer. The teammates always treat him with all the love he needs. I will always recommend Greenlin for anyone to take their pet to!!

Amazing place!!! Great communication and care. Our Bailee was there for 8 days and she came home in perfect condition. Staff stayed a few minutes late so we could pick her up when we returned from vacation!!!

My Golden attended the 10-day training boot camp. Although I missed her terribly, she appeared to enjoy her stay and loved her trainer. Most importantly, she had reinforcement on basic skills and learned new ones.

We have been using Greenlin - Lamb’s Gap for daycare and boarding for over a year and it has been excellent every time. I know that our lab mix is in capable, loving hands and we love the different options available. Because of Greenlin, we’ve discovered that our sensitive pup does better in their patterned program, where he gets to play and then gets to nap separately so he will actually relax. They also have so many activities available and the events they do like the Easter egg hunt, birthday parties and summer camp days are fun for everyone. And I love seeing the Flikr photos from his time there. 5 stars every time!

Was willing to work with my aloof Shiba and be his first sitter ever! Is great with caring for chickens and rabbits as well. Gives detailed reports and updates so you can feel at ease on vacation.

Shauna is ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC! She took excellent care of my two kitties while I was away. I have one cat who is very apprehensive around new people and tends to hide, but Shauna befriended him and won him over right away. It is obvious she is very experienced and loves animals. I've had bad experiences with pet sitters before, and I am so grateful to Shauna for setting my mind at ease. As an added bonus I no longer need to take my cats to the Vet for their nail trims because Shauna will do it at your home. I highly recommend Shauna for your pet sitting needs. You will be very pleased! I would give her a million more stars if I could. THANK YOU SHAUNA!!

Shauna is just an excellent pet sitter. She keeps in constant touch by text throughout each day. That way, you don’t worry at all about your pets. While we were gone, our beagle started to steal our cat’s food. Shauna and I were able to work out a solution immediately. She also a vet tech. This was great for us since we have two geriatric pets who are on multiple medications. We have an upcoming vacation and if there’s one thing I’m not worried about it’s the care of my pets. We plan to use her services for all our future needs.

This review is long overdue! I travel a lot! Let me start by saying this: STOP SEARCHING!! You have just hit the lottery of petsitters!! No need to look further!!! SHAUNA IS THE BEST!!! THE GOLD STANDARD!!! I selected her based on the other reviews and obviously they were correct! We have four cats. My 16 year old has special needs, requiring her to take a pill twice daily to control her seizures. She also occasionally needs her inhaler for asthma. She is not a very trusting cat, and takes time for her to trust people. So needless to say, it was going to be a challenge to allow a new person to pill and puff her. Well, incredibly, she took to Shauna right away, which completely put my mind at ease! When we had our first meet and greet, my youngest goofball Siamese thought Shauna was sooooo cool; he playfully grabbed her ankle and "bunny kicked" her, like, "hey, let's play now! He's only done that to his dad (my husband)! I have never seen him do that before!! Thankfully Shauna laughed, and right away my gang sensed she was a super safe and fun person. She brings over special toys and treats, sge spends at least a half hour each visit, and even sweeps and cleans and other extra things I never expected her to do! Cleans up "accidents," too.. She emails daily with outstanding updates with the funniest messages and great photos! I literally get giddy when I see an update from her come in, and then am grinning ear to ear the entire read! She has an extensive background as a former vet tech, too. She will go above and beyond and she truly treats my "kids" as if they were her own. They love "Ms. Shauna" and love to show off for her. My oldest boy is a momma's boy and grumpy with anyone except me. Even with my own cat-loving mother. But he is very cute with Shauna and knows she is safe! I cannot explain the peace of mind I have knowing Shauna is caring for them. Her on-line portal is outstanding and very, very detailed and thorough. Again, the gold standard. Michelin 5 Diamond quality! I cannot thank her enough! You can trust her with your babies and relax while away, knowing they are in the best possible care!!

Shauna is amazing with my cats and treats them as if they were her own pets!!! My oldest has always been quite "difficult" but Shauna just takes her time and gives my Amelia as much space as she wants. I also have special needs cats and know I never have to worry about them while I'm away since Shauna is also a certified veterinary technician.

Shauna is a true professional and the ONLY one I would trust with my pets.
