Aerin
Aerin and Luther’s home is a special little corner of Toronto. Cozy, stylish (cool plants and art!), excellent location with transit at the doorstep, and fab Leslieville just a skip over the bridge. If you are working from home, you can enjoy some high-quality people watching from the desk! Luther is a very handsome cat…he is reservedly sweet (will perch on the bed to gaze at you from a comfortable distance and weave through your legs to greet you at the door). He will gradually warm up to you….especially if you share his keen interest in pipe cleaner toys! Aerin herself is super down to earth, welcoming and an all round cool person. It was easy to communicate with her while she was out of the country. You totally don’t need a car in this location (I lucked out landing a visitor spot for my vehicle, but that’s the only slightly tricky thing about this condo): If I return I will def bring my bike, as it’s close to the lakefront and not too far from Tommy Thompson park! Thanks again, Aerin and Luther!! :)

What a stay!!!

Our first time in Canada and we were lucky enough to secure a stay on Salt Spring Island. Alison and Jamie were so welcoming upon our arrival and made us feel right at home. Communication was great before and throughout our stay.

Their home is stunning, with a breath taking view. Easy to get too and really well located.

The animals were just AWESOME!! Teddy, their dog, was a legend! He is so cuddly and loved the water. He enjoyed all the hikes we took him on and was very mindful when off lead - he’d come straight back when called. He loved affection and always wanted to be part of what we were doing. Winnie, their daughter’s cat, was so sweet! Very gentle girl who loved her naps and tummy scratches. She is a talker, so don’t be shy to have a convo with her. The goats and chickens made our stay different because it was the first house sit we’d done with farm animals and we LOVED IT!! The goats were so energetic and cuddly and the chickens were great at being chickens haha - their eggs were delicious!

We’d highly recommend sitting for Alison and Jamie! We hope to sit for them again in the near future!!

Quiet, airy apartment filled with light. Lovely large balcony.

Although only a 30 minute drive into the town of Luxembourg, you are in the middle of peaceful fields here.

Lexi is a sweet chocolate lab who loves cuddles and exploring the fields and forests behind the apartment.

Audrey was attentive and always responded quickly.

Wellies (rubber boots) are handy for early morning dew walks or if it happens to rain. Plenty of poo bags in the area although you'd be wise to 'double pack'. You might come across the 'wishing bench' on your walks with Lexi.

Rebecca
Rebecca is the most wonderful host. I have been utterly spoilt and shall emerge from her beautiful home a fat happy cat of a human, rotund, jolly, and at peace. Rebecca made me the MOST beautiful package on my arrival. The bed is a big fat cloud and I am pretty sure I spent most of my time in a food-induced coma. I can't quite remember so I shall have to return! See you soon x

Two very well-behaved dogs made this a very easy sit.

May and Maru are very well trained and well-behaved pets. May is just a little cuddle bunny and Maru might seem a little stand-offish at first, but he’ll be coming to you for head scratches as soon as he gets to know you better. Both dogs have a very easy schedule that was not hard for us to follow to keep them as close as possible to the time pattern that they are used to with their owner.

The home was very comfortable with all the conveniences we needed to enjoy our stay here. It was also very well located so that we could easily visit friends and family in the area as far north as St. Lucie County and south to Broward.

What a treat to care for Gambit and Misha! Their dispositions were the sweetest. Gambit was the best walking partner and Misha was happy to have some play time followed by time nestled under our chins.
D and Paul have a lovely home that is ideally situated next to miles of gorgeous walking and bike trails. They provided all necessary instructions for the pets and house and were easily reachable and responsive during the sit. Overall a great sit with some pretty awesome pets!
