John stayed in touch before his visit (as we had arranged far in advance) and so I felt confident about him. He came the night before we left and we had a good talk and I showed him everything and answered any questions. During the 10 days we were gone he texted us daily and always had fun things to say about what he and Skeeter, our dog, did. And of course he sent some photos! He planned trips for him and Skeeter. He left the house very neat. He obviously cared about our dog! I would highly recommend John.
This was an awesome pet sit, Ahri and Cinder are super sweet. The hosts are wonderful and their home is lovely, and in a beautiful neighborhood. Near anything you might need and beautiful sites, restaurants and southern charm. I had a great time☺️
I looked after the 5 gorgeous ragdolls for 2 & ½ weeks over February/March 2024. I had a phone conversation with Simon months before. Simon was excellent with communication, both before and during the sit. The cats were divine, and the descriptions of their characters were spot on. I felt very welcomed in their home, and wanted for nothing. The room was spacious, the bed comfortable. I recommend keeping your room door closed however, as the cats are very curious, and territorial. The location is lovely. Public transport is available, though it is limited. I would definitely recommend this sit for any genuine cat lovers, and would happily sit for Simon again if the opportunity presents itself.
I had such a wonderful time at Tara & Ian’s while watching Finn! I don’t even know where to begin! Tara & Ian have a beautiful home in a scenic location right on the water, which made going for walks even more special. Finn is such a wonderful dog, he is shy at first but warms up to you really quickly! He is such a well-behaved & happy dog. I will miss hanging out with him! I was so impressed with how good Finn was off leash (with the ball, of course!). He is so friendly & sweet, every night he would sleep by the bed! Tara & Ian left really clear instructions which were easy to follow. Their house was clean & I felt really safe staying here. I really appreciate how flexible they were with my arrival/ departure! I also want to thank their wonderful neighbour, Irene, for showing me around and going out of her way to make sure I had a great stay. Thank you all again, I would absolutely recommend this sit in a heartbeat!
Snags was a sweetheart, super affectionate and easy-going. And Cara is a great host. She made me feel very welcome in her home, which is divine and very centrally located, and we had great chats and banter when I was sharing pics of Snags. Hopefully I'll get a chance to return sometime.
We had the pleasure of sitting for Deb and Suzanne in their beautiful home in Castle Rock. What a treat! Communication was effortless right from the start. Deb and Suzanne are very kind, laid back and easy to get to know. Their home is very tidy, well organized yet super comfortable. The area and the neighborhood are beautiful. Monty is a sweet little soul (in a big kitty body). It took a couple of days for him to warm up but then he was literally eating out of our hands. He loves to have his head and ears scratched and enjoys his morning treat of a squeeze up (cat treat). **Caution note...Monty will try to talk you into giving him an extra squeeze up...so keep your guard up! ** :-) He enjoys sitting on his perch with the back door open, weather permitting, and watching the world go by. He has a very laid back personality, much like his moms. Taking care of him was a breeze. If we could give Deb and Suzanne 10 stars we would. They are really the sweetest and most accommodating people you could pet sit for. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Castle Rock and hope to have the opportunity to visit again sometime.
Five stars for all! If there was an option for more we would rate this sit even higher. Jennifer was an amazing host and her lovely Red Rocks home was so lovely and peaceful. Last and for sure not least "the Pack" Dezi, Duke and Mango stole our hearts. What lovely dogs with great personalities. We all loved evening couch/TV cuddle time ....missing them already. We would be happy to return to sit another time.
