We felt very welcomed as we arrived. Martin made us a fabulous meal, and Poppy is a lovely gentle cat who will seek you out. The location is amazing. Plenty of walks right from the door. The views from their house are magnificent and the local people are friendly and helpful.
I had the most amazing time here, I’m so happy I got to be with this beautiful pup for 1,5 weeks! Allan and Natalie are super nice and Lottie is the absolute best. She’s such a fun and lovable dog, I’m going to really miss playing and cuddling with her. The house has everything you need. It’s cozy, beautiful, clean and in a great location! The area is very family friendly and safe. The best: Just a quick bike ride from the beach. Would love to sit for them again any time!
We had such a nice time with Pepe and Froggie in Wayne and Frank’s beautiful home! Pepe was indeed (as Frank described to us) a gentleman- stoic and kind. Froggie was playful, always up for a treat, and made it clear that she (and not Pepe) should be the focus of our attention. We enjoyed their distinct personalities and loved sitting with them both outside in the shade by the swimming pool, playing with Froggie and brushing her. When we would come home Pepe would usually be sitting, waiting for us calmly by the piano- reminding us of a British butler from days of yore. Frank and Wayne were the perfect hosts: communicative, welcoming, kind and very generous. Wayne gave us a thorough tour of their home and made us feel welcome and at ease. Everything had been prepared so that our duties would be as straightforward and as easy as possible. Frank was great at responding to our questions while they were away, and he and Wayne just made us feel so very appreciated throughout the sit. Frank and Wayne’s home was immaculate, beautiful, well equipped and very comfortable. The neighborhood was just a short drive away from supermarkets and other shops. There’s a large and very pleasant park complex less than a five minute drive away, which was great for morning walks. We feel very fortunate to have been able to sit for Froggie and Pepe, and would love to have the opportunity to sit for them again. We definitely recommend this sit very highly!
Billy was very sweet , independent and loves cuddles. He was easy to care for and is well behaved. Adam & Katie's home was comfortable, we were lucky to get some sunny days so could enjoy the sun in the backyard. The house is quite spacious and very close to supermarkets in Catford. We were ships in the night and did not end up actually meeting but had a lovely video call prior to ensure we had all info, and to get to know them a little. Their welcome guide had all info we needed so we did not need to disrupt their holiday with too many questions, but did send some cute photos. Catford is an interesting area and it was fun for us to experience South London. Thankyou Katie & Adam for trusting us with your home and with precious Billy, all the best ♡
We received a lovely warm welcome from Mike, Mandy and Coco. Alstonefield is a beautiful village surrounded by oodles of walks from the doorstep over rolling hills and stunning countryside. We had a great week with Coco who is absolutely adorable. She and Harry were great together. The house and garden are as idyllic as the setting and views. We can’t wait to return.
I had the absolute pleasure of house sitting for James, Meredith and their two amazing dogs, Athena and Groot. From the moment I met them, I was impressed by how welcoming and organized they were. It is incredibly clear how much they care Athena & Groot and that they are fantastic dog parents. They took the time to introduce me to their home and dogs, ensuring I had all the information and resources needed to provide the best care possible. The dogs themselves were a joy to look after. Athena and Groot are SO sweet and have all the love to give in the world, to be honest, I miss them already— I felt this from the moment I stepped in the door and through all of the time we spent together. Each one of them was full of personality and tenderness, and they just want to be near you. They have no problem with some time on their own but they would always surely rather have you around, and once you get a taste of their cuddly, loving nature you won’t want to be away for long. Both of them are well-behaved and incredibly loving, making my sitting for them not only easy thoroughly enjoyable. Communication with the owners was seamless. They were always just a text away, ready to answer any questions or provide additional guidance. They checked not just on the dogs but me too, making sure everything was going well and I was enjoying my stay. The neighbors even introduced themselves and checked in on me too. James & Meredith’s kindness and consideration made me feel more like a guest than a sitter, which speaks volumes about their character. The home was fantastic - serene, clean, comfortable, and situated in the beautiful, nature filled Topanga. The space has everything and more needed for a pleasant stay, and I was encouraged to make myself at home, which I greatly appreciated. Overall, my house sitting experience for James & Meredith was exceptional. They are caring, wonderful people with equally remarkable dogs. I would highly recommend them to anyone. Consider yourself lucky & loved if you get to sit for them and I look forward to spending time with Athena & Groot again :)
