Jamie looking after MaYa was our first pet sitter experience through zeewoi. Prior to Jamies arrival and at Jamie's request, we have met on a video call which gave us all a chance to discuss many details of the sit and get to know each other a bit. We were very thankul that Jamie reschedule her Opera tickets to be able to accept our invitation for looking after MaYa, and also to arrive a day before our departure....this was such a bonus! MaYa: Communication with Jamie was excellent, we received photos and daily updates. After our return, it was obvious that MaYa bonded with Jamie very well and was happy, loved and well looked after. We have no doubts that Jamie has taken our requests regarding MaYa's cleanliness very seroiusly! During the storms (the weather was quite extreem during our leave) Jamie had Maya by her side , to keep her reassured and calm. House: Jamie left the house immaculate! The bed linen stripped and folded. In addition, Jamie was very considerate regarding utilities use. No doubts , based on reading zeewoi forum , many homeowners are very concerned about this aspect of the sit.....We requested that overnight if the space is not in use, the radiators should be turned off....we have no doubt that Jamie was doing just that! It was very reasuring that she was looking after our house like after her own! During our first encounter through WhatsApp, Jamie had asked if we are OK with her to have a friend (walking partner who was going to book to stay at a property nearby) for tea at the house during her sit. We were quite surprised, but agreed understanding the need for all of us to catch up. It has become clear that Jamie and her friend together looked after Maya at our house during our absence .....and both waited for our arrival on the last day. ...which took us by surprise. We would have felt much more comfortable, had we had a chance to consider them both as a ''zeewoi couple sitter'' ..... we believed it was going to be a solo sit. Based on many comments on zeewoi forum, reliability is a fundamental part of zeewoi ethos...zeewoi membership offers us reassurance who the person/people is /are ; certainly one of the key factors as to who would be welcomed to stay in their home. To be clear, we are happy to have single or couple sitter...we just like to know that they are both listed. Thank you Jamie, whether you return on your own or as a couple sitter, you would be very welcome back to our home.
