Melissa is the absolute best house and dog sitter!! She has sat for us twice now and both times have been so amazing! Something about her makes us just feel so at ease that our fur babies are being taken care of. She sends us the best pictures of them while we're gone and takes them all over exploring. She also left our house spotless both times to the point that my clean freak husband kept saying there was nothing to clean after we got home haha. Thank you so much Melissa for everything! Welcome back anytime <3
Mike and Liz and their two adorable furry duo gave us a warm welcome and good handover. The house is in a great location, safe, secure, walkable to the beach with a stunning oasis of a garden. We found the house to be very clean, well organised and comfortable. More importantly, both cats are complete sweethearts, placid, with lovely personalities and easy to feed. Fred is the more reserved of the two but once he had sussed us out enjoyed a good lap cuddle, whereas Florence immediately attached herself to us and was always on the look out for attention and cuddles. Communication with Mike and Liz was excellent throughout the process and they were extremely kind in offering us some extra nights to help accommodate a family situation we were dealing with. This a sit that we would not hesitate to return to!
It was an absolutely amazing experience! The pups were as sweet as could be and loved to cuddle up to me. Your house was so pleasant and lovely too! Thank you so much for welcoming me in!
What a great sit ! Bohdi and Lola were so good, happy and settled. We walked round Denver LODO and especially enjoyed the shady Riverside Trail in the evenings. Matt & Nicole were very easy to communicate with and it was a pleasure to sit fir them
All we can say about Dylan is that he is an absolute bundle of fun and affection. We enjoyed some lovely walks and lots and lots of ball throwing! Jo's house is spacious, comfortable and easily accessible from the nearby major road networks. Would recommend a sit here looking after lovely Dylan.
I enjoyed the company of Skye and the cats! The home is in a very beautiful and safe environment. It is clean and comfortable, with everything you need. I gladly recommend this sit!
I met Nicole and Mark through video chat and then stopped by their farm to say hello to them and the animals a couple of weeks before sitting for them. They were super kind and welcoming, I got to know them a little bit and they showed me around the farm so I could meet the animals beforehand (instant adoration for Emmy, the goats are so sweet and the chickens are pretty impartial to your existence but nevertheless cute). The chores were very straightforward and just as Nicole outlined for me: watering, feeding and letting the animals out in the morning, again in the afternoon (look for eggs!), and putting them to bed at night. I love Emmy! She is ridiculously sweet and snuggly but also likes to oversee the kingdom. I really enjoyed the rhythm of doing the rounds with her in the morning and evenings, walking with her to and from the outer gate to open and then lock up. She is a really good dog. The goats are also very sweet and will come up to you for scratches or pets, or follow you as a little herd around their long run if you call to them. I liked listening to the chickens' little feet stampeding along the gate when they spied me bringing food over. Nicole was super responsive and very generous with the space. I gave her updates in the evenings or otherwise reached out with questions. I had a lovely time at their cabin and wouldn't hesitate to stay again or recommend them to other sitters - if you like nature and animals this is a great place to be!
