She was our first house sitter and we could not have been luckier to have found someone who took such great care of our girl "Stella" and our home. Sean and Taryn are both kind, funny and pretty chilled out people. I really enjoyed meeting them, and Pongo was a gorgeous dog to spend the weekend with! He is affectionate, well mannered, and friendly to everyone, and you can't get very far on walks because he is such a social butterfly - he's the kind of dog that makes people smile as they pass him on the street, and random strangers want to stop for a pet. He makes adorable little squeaky yawns, and loves to lay on top or across you, so 10/10 for snuggle factor. He is a strong boy, and loves to dash into a flock of geese, so people who appreciate athletic dogs will love him. Their home is cozy and comfortable, and right on Epping Forest for the outdoorsy folks (bring boots or mud suitable trainers!) And a 10-15 min walk from the tube station, and the nearby village with some cute cafes and pubs. Thoroughly recommend Pongo and his very dog-loving parents!
We really enjoyed this sitting! Tony and Maureen are kind and generous. They made things easy and drama free. Also Maureen's banana cake is the best one we ever tried!! Maureen is caring and respectful and Tony is like our father, once we went out for a walk and suddenly rain was pouring and guess what, he drove the town around to find us! They are the hosts we want to recommend for all the sitters on this website :) Their dog Ciara is a beautiful Irish setter, she loves being in the water and playing fetch. She is gentle with the cats and loooves cuddle! Louie is a year old kitten and also loves cuddle. We sometimes really wondered if he is a cat or dog. He is independent but also going to follow you around the house which was so lovely! Mitch is more like a real cat(!), She is at first shy but once she feels comfortable with you, you are so approved ;) She loves to play the fishing stick thingy and she is the smallest in the house but she is the boss of the squad :) We will be always happy to do another house sitting for them. It was truly one of the best house sitting experience we ever had.
Finn was a dream to cat sit for & would definitely be very happy to again! I felt so welcomed by Hope & Phillip, they went out of their way to make sure I knew the house & everything that Finn would need whilst they were away.
Amy & Rhys are the kind of people anyone would enjoy meeting, in any circumstance. Really warm, hospitable and friendly. They made me extremely welcome in their Cardiff home & I felt very comfortable there from the moment I walked in. A warm cosy home with a well equipped kitchen which I really enjoyed cooking in. Amy left a very informative guide that covered everything that I needed to know. Their 2 Cockerpoos, Dewi & Tui are a terrific pair of characters. Lively & fun dogs who, like their owners, are very friendly. I really enjoyed their company & I know the feeling was mutual. The garden leads out on to woodland & fields where the dogs love to run and enjoy together. They are great pals but also competitive with each other & keep very fit chasing around. It was a real pleasure to let them run free in the woods or walk them on the lead together. They are well trained & respond very well to calls & commands. I want to thank Amy & Rhys for letting me have this house & pet sit. It was a real pleasure & hopefully one that can be repeated in the future. Thank you for everything / Diolch yn fawr am pob.
Ryan & I had a lovely time at Caroline’s place. Kenzo was a sweet boy to watch and care for. We had a good time hanging in the backyard, visiting the dog park, and exploring Brooklyn. This neighborhood was lively and fun to live in for a short time. I highly recommend staying at Caroline’s place with Kenzo to anyone.
We loved these three cats! Willy, Charlie, and Louie were an incredibly entertaining and fun bunch. And so sweet. This was such an easy and enjoyable sit. Shari was very kind to provide all the details way ahead of time, all laid out and super clear, which was great! We had a lovely, peaceful New Year's weekend with the three cats. Took a little trip into San Francisco on New Year's Day, which is about a 30 minute drive. Loved this sit, and would love to come back!
