Looking after Avy & Ava was such a pleasure. We couldn’t imagine more loving dogs to care for during our time in Boulder, and Thaissa & Steve were SO welcoming and kind to us. Both dogs are older so didn’t need strenuous exercise, but enjoyed a good walk to the park that was a few blocks away. Ava loved being in our company, while Avy preferred to follow us around only when we were near the treat jar 🤣 The house is super comfortable, with everything you would need during a sit and more. We used their bikes to get around which was a huge plus for us, and there are a bunch of trails and paths all around the house which was brilliant! The garden is gorgeous to sit and relax in, and the house stays nice and cool even in the hottest part of summer. We truly feel lucky to have met such an awesome family, and we are already jealous of future sitters!
I had a great time sitting with Chewie and Bentley at Di's house in Auckland! Di was very welcoming, and because I was in town, I was able to stop by first to meet everyone. Chewie is a sweetie that just likes to be around you (and he'll also help keep your feet warm). Bentley has tons of energy, and loves to play. I really enjoyed exploring the neighborhood on walks with Bentley. Secondary to hanging with the doggos, their neighborhood is very beautiful, walkable and easy access to the beach, grocery, shops, bus etc. I felt comfortable and safe at the house, and Di was quick to get back to me if I ended up having questions. I miss Chewie and Bentley already, thanks again!
Warning: you will be in love with Marple & Barnaby!! They're absolutely amazing. No need warm up time just come close right away. Marple is sooo energetic and incredibly playful. She's running jumping around most of the time. If we stop playing with her, she will still play by herself. Barnaby joined in sometimes but when it's getting too crazy he went to nap by the window or upstairs. He's curious boy always come look what we're doing and occasionally lie down for belly rub. We had really lovely weekend with these two. Thanks Charlotte and Alex for having us. Very smooth communication and the house is nice, clean and cosy. 100% recommend 👍
Loved hanging out with Bertie he was such a gorgeous boy, a dream dog really! We did a walk a day. He was great on the lead, and he definitely loves his beauty sleep. Liz and Shane were exceptional hosts, picking me up and dropping me at the station. Everything for the sit was well organised and the house was beautiful.
Enjoyed the company of Lou and Lily. Had some great times hiking and exploring the area with Lily. Lou was a great snuggle buddy on any occasion. Great communication with Beth and everything was explained well. Thank you
