Robin generously made the time for a meet + greet before the weekend stay. She was a wonderful communicator + took Leo on great walks. She regularly sent updates + photos and left the space tidy. I trust her 100% with him and also with my space. Highly recommend!
We loved having Angela to stay in our home... and the cats loved her even more! Angela is delightful and easy going with great communications. She settled in easily and sent us lovely photos of the cats so we knew everyone was happy while we were away. She left our apartment in immaculate shape with welcome home notes, which we really appreciated. We had to go away at short notice to attend a family funeral, and were so grateful to have Angela swing into action to look after the cats. We had to change our travel plans at the end of our visit and Angela very kindly accommodated that. During a stressful and sad time for us, we are so grateful to Angela for taking care of things so well. We highly recommend Angela as a gold star house sitter!!
I can 100% recommend sitting with Joanna's cats! It was a fantastic time with two low maintenance cats who immediately stole my heart. Albert is very friendly and eager for affection from the very beginning. Dzidzia is a real sweetheart, he may need a little more time to fully trust you, but you will quickly notice that he is also very happy with your presence and wants to be noticed. Despite Albert's disability he behaves like any other cat - he is very active and willing to play, always curious about what you are doing and accompanying you in activities. Dzidzia values his private space a little more, but he also has his moments when he will jump on your lap and need to feel that you are close. Joanna is a very warm person who welcomed me wonderfully, her apartment is in ideal location 15min walk from the nearest beach. I highly recommend! 😄
Merlot and Zoya are lovely cats with quite different personalities, Merlot is very cuddly, vocal and playful whereas Zoya prefers to play and be petted on her own terms, and I’m looking forward to getting to know them further in the next sit which is already booked in :) Jessica and Pau have been wonderfully welcoming and made me feel at home in their great, and excellently located apartment which I’m fortunate to have booked a second sit at :)
Cheryl and Angus are amazing hosts. The communication was excellent and we felt very welcomed. They even brought us souvenirs from their holiday and invited us for another housesit. Kuna and Coiba are one of the most lovely dogs we have been taken care of. They are super cuddly, love their walks or just being around you. The fish are easy to take care of and Cheryl will provide you all the information you need. The house itself is located in a really nice area of Hamburg, next to a forest and the Elbe is only a 10min walk away. Highly recommended!!!
We really enjoyed our house sit in Franklin, Tennessee! We can’t say enough nice things about Freddy and Bowie. They are such good dogs. They are so friendly, loving, well-behaved, and very low maintenance. The home is very comfortable and the guest quarters are wonderful! Franklin and the surrounding area are beautiful with a very nice downtown and unlimited dining options. We especially enjoyed a beautiful afternoon in Lieper’s Fork and a distillery tour and tasting at the local whisky distillery there. Access to Nashville is also a bonus! Great property, pets, and hosts in a fantastic location.
We had a fantastic time staying at Helen and David's lovely home and taking care of their wonderful dogs, Lolly and Lee-Lee. Helen and David made us feel incredibly welcome. The house is very comfortable and the garden is gorgeous, we especially enjoyed sitting outside in their garden. We also enjoyed the walks right outside the back gate. It was a wonderful way to explore the area and bond with Lolly and Lee-Lee. It is a lovely part of the country and only a short hop into stunning Cambridge. We can't thank Helen and David enough for trusting us with their beloved pets and welcoming us into their home. We would love to care for Lolly and Lee-Lee again and would highly recommend this sit!
We had a wonderful time sitting for Liz and Rick and their dog, Juno, in December. Juno is a sweet and affectionate girl who is very well-behaved. I enjoyed getting to take her on long walks in the neighborhood. We were lucky enough to be there for some pre-Christmas snow, and everything looked like a Christmas card. The house is very comfortable, with high-speed internet, a big back yard, multiple TVs, and close to shopping. We work remotely and there were two comfortable workstations/desks for us to use. Liz left us a very detailed write-up with instructions for the house and caring for Juno. She included maps of the area and everything we needed. We hadn't been to Danbury before and enjoyed exploring the area. We took a day trip up to West Point to tour the US Military Academy. I would absolutely recommend sitting for Liz and Rick and Juno and would love to do it again if the stars align.
