The cats are sweet and friendly, and were great company. They are very playful and love being brushed. Judi has a pretty garden with a hedgehog and loads of birds that are fed daily. The house is in a good location to the south of town, close to shops and supermarket, with beautiful countryside on the doorstep.

Lucas and Marianne are a wonderfully friendly Brazilian couple with excellent English speaking skills living in a delightful location near the bank of the Thames River with Malu, a very special and beautiful breed of dog from their home country. The couple kept in touch me regularly before my sit and we met the day before at their apartment for a thorough briefing and what else but a lovely cup of coffee! Malu is a shy dog and it took some time to bond with her and get her on her lead but after that she loved the walks we took together mostly along the Thames Path. She spent her evenings on the couch alongside me and enjoyed a nice scratch and stroke. She is not aggressive and likes to socialise with other dogs as well. She eats a reccomended diet twice a day and a limited amount of 'treats'. We've been fortunate to be invited back again for future sits and really look forward to seeing them all again!

Excellent housesit for a person who loves cats. Friendly helpful owners, who provided information and support throughout the sit. Great location. Lots of places to walk. Two local supermarkets, and lots of cafes in a medieval village. Lovely Flamme was a pleasure to spend time with. Would happily housesit here again.

Lexy was wonderful to look after. She loved to hang around me and follow me wherever I went or just curl up next to me to sleep. So easy to look after. Dianne and Steve were incredibly accommodating and kind and we got along great. It will always be a pleasure to sit for them in the future. Definitely recommend!

I truly enjoyed this sit. Scooter was such a good boy. He joined me on the couch for cuddles most nights but usually rested in his “den” under the bed other than that. He was remarkably quiet and super easy to care for. Sue was in good communication throughout and was very generous and helpful to me. Her house was nicely furnished and in a quiet neighborhood near some good restaurants. All told, it was one of my better housesitting experiences!
