Had Mark back for a second pet sit. He did a great job. Kitties were happy and well take care of. He even kindly put up with me accidentally running low on cat food and let me know early enough so I was able to get some delivered before he ran out. My apartment was nice and clean when I got back with everything how I left it. I look forward to welcoming him back for another sit!

Miranda came as a house sitter and left as a friend! It was such a delight to have her in our home for a while. She was great at all the usual things associated with a house sitter, but she went above and beyond when one of our goats unexpectedly fell ill while we were away. We learned that she is passionate about all living things. She approached the sit with enthusiasm and curiosity. We jokingly told her that she had a crash course in goats! She learned in a couple of months what we have slowly learned over the past 10 years! Of course Ruby the donkey became fast friends with her and Ruby is a pretty good judge of character.. Wishing Miranda all the best in her future endeavors and we hope to see her again one of these days

John & Molly spent a month caring for our 3 pets. They were so loving and great with them all. They took good care of everyone and gave dog meds as needed. They even took one of the dogs to a vet appointment that was previously scheduled. They were very self-sufficient and took care of things at the house if an issue arose. I would 100% recommend John & Molly and would welcome them back anytime.

Tatiana was the definitely the house and pet sitter we were looking for. We got to know her a little bit because she spent 3 days with us at our place before we left for our trip to South Africa. Besides the fact that we seem to have a lot in common and that she was brave enough (and even excited) to spend some time in the cold Montreal winter, she was reliable, responsible, tidy, and took good care of our cat Mr. Jules. We really had no worries that our place was being looked after, as she made sure that she understood everything that she needed to do, and also regularly communicated with us to give us news and send pictures of our beloved kitty. She speaks many languages, so it was a delight to be able to communicate with her in English AND French, the latter being my mother tongue. She is calm, independent and confident, with a lot of life experiences from all over the world, therefore she easily and quickly adapts to new circumstances, and is super easy-going. I would not hesitate to have her sit for us again if the opportunity ever arises, and I plan on trying to keep in touch.

Chrishaunda

I had the pleasure of using Chrishaunda for my pet/house sit on a recent 2 week trip from 9/20/22-10/5/22. She was courteous and friendly and the animals quickly took to her. She went out of her way to help me and not only drove me to the airport but also made an effort to return to the house to retrieve my itinerary that I had left on my desk! She was prompt in reporting a problem with Haley's paw and gave her meds to her daily. When I arrived back home my house was clean, the plants watered and the animals happy. I would not hesitate to recommend Chris and hope that she will sit for me again in the future.

Bar and Sonja were absolutely fantastic housesitters! Communicating with them was easy and effortless. They asked great questions and kept us updated regularly about how our home, dog, and cat were doing. They took extra great care of our home and pets. We would have them back for another sit in a heartbeat and hope to sync up again one day! We can't recommend them enough.

Nice apartment in a great area. Two lovely cats who entertained us with just a string on a stick. Eggs warmed up quickly, and Tony wasn't far behind.  Cats are well-mannered and easy-breezy care.  Coffee, breweries, restaurants and a couple small markets are within an easy walk.  Laura and Ryan are generous and easy-going hosts. We would love to sit for them again.

Shanhong

Shanhong and Anthony kindly welcomed me into their home and walked me through everything they needed during my stay.  The home and property are truly beautiful and still just a short drive into town.  Senator was a little shy at first but he warmed up to me by the second day.  He is a sweet and affectionate kitty who loves to play.  I would highly recommend this house sit!

Ben, Adrienne, and their cats are warm and fuzzy as house slippers. From the beginning I was welcomed. My accomodations were super nice. If you're not one for basements; this house like several others I've been in has a spacious and well lit studio apartment downstairs. 

The cats fell for me immediately and I for them. Hobbes took an entire day and 1/2 to get to know me. He displayed his love the next day. Boo is the boss of the home yet she's sweet and cuddly.
All in all I liked the area (so many things to do), and the neighborhood (quaint). 
If you're a gardener you'll like this sit. If you like ease you'll love it. If you like to cook you'll find the most advanced and epic tools for that as well.

Celia and Shay are unusually kind and thoughtful people who have created a beautiful and peaceful home. Being there is a true gift to the soul.

Their cats, Clementine, and Klondike are gentle, loving creatures who are a joy to be around.  

A third cat, Cali, usually stays upstairs and is not a social cat, except maybe with Celia and Shay.  

Even the chickens are well-behaved, and taking care of them is gratifying as they seem to be so appreciative.  

For sitters who enjoy rocket launches,  you can have a wonderful view from many places. 

My favorite was Jetty Park, which cost $16, but which was clean, quiet, and safe, and it gave an amazing show.  You do have to pay online ahead of time. Just Google “Jetty Park” or “Jetty Park Launches”

There is also a sweet beach close by: Lori Wilson Beach. And, an old homestead called Sam’s House which is deserving of a visit.   

All in all, staying at Celia and Shay’s was a delightful and nurturing experience.

Fernando was a sweetie pie! Very lovable and playful. He is super smart. Isaac is very kind. House is really cute and location is prime.
