Pet sitting Cisco and Gri was a delightful experience over the course of a week. The comfortable home, with a beautiful sunrise view, provided a backdrop for caring for these two feline companions. They were easy to care for with very curious yet polite natures, making them a pleasure to be around. Both cats quickly warmed up to me, and Gri, in particular, transformed into a cat that relished being petted, even enjoying belly rubs. Their talkative nature, whether it was greeting me at the door, in the mornings, or when seeking affection, added a charming aspect to the experience. I enjoyed my time with Cisco and Gri and would gladly care for them again!
Edward was an extraordinarily generous and welcoming host. He took time to show us around the property, answer questions, and just generally get to know us a bit in person before he left. He was available for questions and updates while he was travelling, and shared some pictures and stories of his adventures, too! His family is very close by, and though we never met them, they were friendly and helpful via text. We were glad to know we had backup care for Rupert when we had a tight schedule getting to our next sit. Rupert is a seriously special individual. We had spent plenty of time around big dogs previously, but not Boxers in particular. I still think, however, that Rupert must be a singular example of his breed. He immediately adopted us as 'his' family, especially our young child, and took great care to guard her and be gentle (and incredibly patient!) around her. We trusted him completely. He is sensitive, and clearly missed Ed for a few days, and he was also very sad when he knew we were packing up to leave. But he is also adaptable and was a wonderful companion both at home and when we went out into the world. He listens quite well, and is rarely leashed. He is very athletic, which is a sight to see in such a big guy! And he has an amazing sense of humor. (Can dogs have a sense of humor? Yes, yes they can!) We truly could not have asked for- and didn't expect to have- such a fantastic first experience through Trusted Housesitters, and we're so grateful to have met this wonderful pair! If you have the opportunity to spend some time at this lovely spot, absolutely jump at the chance! We miss Rupert (and Edward 😉) and are very much looking forward to keeping in touch and visiting when we're in the area. Thank you Ed!!
We had a wonderful time at Lizzie’s fabulous home and in the company of her adorable cats, who we were very sad to leave! Lizzie is an excellent host who catered for every eventuality, and more importantly is a great person, too. We really enjoyed looking after her place and precious ones, and we would love to do so again. All in all, a 5 star experience, highly recommended Leon & Lucinda xx
A joy sitting for Layla and Ike, sweet tempered, distinctive in their personalities. Layla became my devoted friend almost immediately, affectionate and playful. Ike is not at all judgy, but discerning in his tastes, he grew cuddly, and warm once my standard of service met with his approval. The house is peaceful, the neighborhood is lit, loved walking with Layla in this dynamic vibrant part of the city. Eric and Megan gracious and welcoming hosts. Recommend enthusiastically to future sitters.
We had a wonderful time lounging with Lou and Whiskey in Drew’s gorgeous home. Lou is the sweetest old man, he loves to take slow walks and sniff around the dog park down the street from the house. Whiskey was a typical cat who hungout in the same room as us but didn’t want to play much— we respected his boundaries and also won him over with treats! The kitchen and bathroom were so spacious and homey, making this visit so relaxing and enjoyable. We would absolutely housesit for Drew again!
Where to begin? First of all, Sharon and Chris are *extremely* thoughtful hosts. Their home is gorgeous and peaceful. And last but not least, Daisy completely captured our hearts. Her resilient spirit (and physical health) are a testament to Sharon and Chris’s love and dedication. A heartwarming and inspiring experience on multiple levels.
