Jane
Jane’s family including Mako were SUCH a pleasure to meet & look after. Such great communication from Jane while they were on holidays. Mako is a lovely fella who just ADORED his playtime in the tunnel and is perfectly capable of string you know what he wants if you simply follow him when he meows. Very intelligent cat he is 🩵 We had such a nice time in their cozy clean space. Thank you for having us!

Penelope
Penelope and Hugh have created a beautiful space in an interesting part of the country. They care for a wonderful collection of animals and we enjoyed spending time there very much. Each creature is loved and cared for in such an amazing home. Norman, who is 20 is really a “spring chicked” and his fellow three cats Nat, Nellie and Nina are affectionate and welcomed us with lots of curiosity and attention. The chooks and ducks are beautiful and are free range and an entertainment, in themselves, to watch. Abundant bird life and very comfortable accomodation made our time there a great experience. Penelope is very organised and a great communicator who cares deeply for her animals and wants the best for their lives on site. The sheep ate from pockets in her prototype sheep feeder. A new experience for me and as they were blind/semi blind was very efficient. No hesitation to spend time here and surrounds, some great local beaches and villages to visit. A real sanctuary!

Theo is the sweetest puppy ever! He can be a bit nervous the first few days but once he warms up he’s constantly looking to cuddle and play. Compared to other puppies I’ve dog sat, Theo was pretty easy to care for and super cute. Olive is just as cute but does her own thing as cats usually do. If you’re a light sleeper like me I’d recommend bringing earplugs since she can be a but noisy at night. Overall, I had a blast. Would recommend!!
