This sit was great! Awesome location, Amanda was really friendly and communicative, and the cats are absolutely adorable ☺️ highly recommend!
I had such a wonderful time housesitting for Vi! Her pets are the absolute sweetest and so easy to care for. Her fur babies are so loving and I honestly cried when I had to leave! Daily walks with her dog , Poe were always fun as she is basically local celebrity and everyone loves her. The kitties love cuddles and exploring outside in the backyard. Vi’s house is straight out of apartment therapy and designed so cute and comfortable. She makes it easy for her house sitters by leaving a thorough guide and everything is labeled. Vi is also a wonderful, thoughtful host and the kindest person. I would house sit for Vi again in a heartbeat if I am ever back in Austin. Thanks for everything, Vi!💜
Mandy and Steve were extremely lovey and generous hosts, who left very clear instructions, made sure I could come and see the house and meet Mazie before hand, and were easy to communicate with throughout the stay. They were super flexible in making arrangements that would best suit Mazie and I felt very supported as a sitter. Highly recommended!
Sitting with Ruthie was just like being given a bundle of love for FREE! She was sweet and smart and so adorable. But more importantly Ashley was so sweet as well. She was not only welcoming but so concerned about my comfort and I was so grateful for her sweet personality. This is a 10 star sit but 5 stars is all THS will let me leave.
Taking care of Alpha and Rosie was a joy. Nicola provided detailed information in respect of their care and also instructions for the house. Both Steve and Nicola made us feel very welcome. It was a privilege to be in a great neighbourhood with options for a variety of walks with Alpha. Alpha was well known on the beach and this initiated conversations with very friendly likeminded dog owners. Although Rosie was a little cautious of us at the beginning, she soon became comfortable and very affectionate. In summary, we thoroughly enjoyed our time at Nicola and Steve's lovely home with both Rosie and Alpha.
We had a wonderful time caring for Hannah and Giles's animals. The instructions were clear and a crossover day helped a lot to practise the routine with supervision. We had a very comfortable stay and really enjoyed all the fresh eggs and exploring the countryside with Winston. If you like to walk, you'll love Thorncombe.
