We stayed in Justine’s home for about 10 days and we had the best time! Cooper is the cutest and although he’s still a puppy, he is so well behaved and trained and we loved to spend time with him. Sydney is also very sweet, it took her a couple days to warm up to us though. Both of them were easy to take care of, especially with the amazing Welcome Guide we had all the information we needed beforehand and Justine was very accessible during the sit, communication was so easy! She also kindly picked us up from the train station and even though she had to catch an earlier flight, she let us stay until the sit ended. The house and area is absolutely beautiful and also has everything you need in a walkable distance (metro and bus stations, Aldi, Woolworth, restaurants, pharmacy,…). We would absolutely come again and can recommend it to everyone to spend some time with Cooper&Sydney!☺️
This sit was terrific. Kay is so nice! She let us stay a few days before her trip so we didn't have to get a hotel in the area. The dogs, Austin and Allie, are lovers. They were so well behaved for us. They loved to cuddle and get belly rubs. They also love their walk everyday. Allie leads the way and it's just a matter of keeping up with her. Kay's home is gorgeous and there is so much room, but the best part are all the outdoor areas. You can get a tan all day long by moving from one outdoor area to another. Her house is also so convenient to everything, grocery stores, restaurants, and hikes (although we didn't do any). We kept in touch via e-mail during her vacation out of the country. If you have the chance to care for Austin and Allie, I would highly recommend it.
Cynthia has a beautiful home close to anything you could need and walking distance to coffee shops, restaurants and Greenlake(great for walking!). Communication with Cynthia was timely, informative and easy. Her description of responsibilities and general lay of the land was was spot on. Jones and Pirate are adorable and so sweet! Never had cats who enjoyed chasing toys so much! Jones liked to keep an eye on me and I enjoyed seeing him follow me around. Would definitely love sitting for them again!
Georgina and Spike are absolutely wonderful hosts and the bunny’s and cats are very sweet. I had a wonderful time here. Georgina welcomed me in and helped me orient to the area and made sure I had everything I would need. Communication was clear and prompt and friendly. I love the room the bunnies enjoy. They have space to move and explore and it was to rearrange the toys to keep them playing. The cats are sweet and typical, snuggly one day and aloof the next, but still sweet. I feel like I’ve made new friends and hope to cross paths with Georgina and Spike again in the future.
Max and Bruno were quite a pair - they stayed very close and were good boys when they had plenty of exercise. The area has many beautiful trails with a view of the Jordanelle resorvoir - where we took the pair a few times for ball catching and a swim! The home itself is immaculate with a gourmet kitchen, cozy deck, beautiful views, and very clean and stylish bedrooms/bathrooms. The only thing I would recommend is a more detailed description of the pet care - the first few days they were a little more anxious and barked at other dogs - they stayed close but definitely needed a lot of attention. However, whenever something came up, Susan was very quick to text with clear instructions and support. Thanks again for a lovely stay!
