These animals were a pleasure to look after. Minnie is very attentive and affectionate and loves a good run. Snoopy loves a bit of fuss but you got to get to him before Minnie jumps in a steals the cuddles. Ziggy like most cats was pretty self sufficient but he came for a snuggle each evening and it always feels good when the cat approves of your presence. The horses and chickens were no problem to look after. Daisy was a little skittish on the first day but by moving slowly and talking soft she became more susceptible to a small amount of interaction. The house was lovely and the bed was super cozy. Lovey sit.
Jenny and her family are lovely. Jenny is very friendly, relaxed and easy in communication. She took the time to show us around in her lovely home and explain everything, which was appreciated. Their pets, Clover, Willow and Ralph have really stole our hearts. They all have their own personalities which is lovely to see. Especially Clover loves to cuddle and bring you fluffy toys. They are very well behaved and you can literally take them anywhere. We took them to the beach, multiple pubs and coffee/lunch places, the waterfalls in Ambleside, Coniston water, Keswick and many more great walks. It was such a joy to look after them. Their home is lovely (a beautiful, large cottage) and the surroundings are magical. You will feel like you’re in the film the Holiday. It’s quite remote and in the middle of the green hills which is the perfect place for the city people looking for an escape in the nature. You can literally go on a long walk/hike once you step outside their gardens. We would definitely recommend this house/pet sit and would love to come back!
Kathleen & Ted are wonderful hosts! They made us feel welcome from the very first moment we arrived. Bella is a sweetheart. A loving, happy pup. Mimi, their senior cat, likes naps, brushing and food - not necessarily in that order. Their home is clean and comfortable. All in all it was a great sit, and we’d be delighted to sit for them again.

Gracias a cada uno de sus animales por llenarnos de amor y hacer nuestra estadía increíble esperemos encontrarnos con muchas personas como Asuncion que le dan otra oportunidad a los animales . Su hogar es un increíble espacio cómodo, ecológico y tranquilo para descansar. We are very happy to have met Asuncion and Paco, they are incredible people. At all times we were in communication, they helped us a lot both upon arrival at their house and upon departure. Asuncion adopts animals to give them a better life and without a doubt that is reflected All the love he gives them and everything he does for them is incredible, we wish there were more people like that in the world. Thank you to each of your animals for filling us with love and making our stay incredible. We hope to meet many people like Asuncion who give animals another chance. Your house is an incredible comfortable, ecological and quiet space to rest.
Our time at Linda's with Bailey couldn't have been any better. Even with the 6 hour time difference Linda was always easy to contact and very responsive to any needs we had. Her home is very comfortable in a beautiful, quiet and safe neighborhood, her kitchen has everything you could need and more! Bailey was a pleasure, full of energy in the morning before her walk, same for the evening walk, anytime in between just food and water, maybe belly rub but short of that could not be an easier pet to take care of. Hilton Head Island has the nicest beaches and is one of the most bike friendly places on earth, with over 60 miles of trails, and just 2 miles down the road is the Jarvis Creek General Store with its BIG screen outdoor TV's, wine and beer tasting, food trucks and live music(one of our favorite evening spots). One of the best house/pet sits we've had and hopefully Linda will keep us in mind for the the future. Sincerely, Bill & Tammi
A wonderful sit. Francine and Greg worked hard to make the stay very comfortable. They are so organised but in a calm way. Looking after the pets was a joy, with home cooked dog meals and a well planned, accessible hen house which made cleaning it very easy. Their home is very comfortable with everything you might need and more. Plenty to do locally. 5* all round.

I contacted Kitty @perfect paws to find a companion for my 74 yr old mother. Kitty contacted my mom directly, discussed her needs and vetted her home before pairing her with a beautiful calm cocker spaniel called Phoebe. When we collected Kitty took time ensure they bonded and that my mom was aware that if she needed any support or to rehome Phoebe they would take her back at anytime. You can tell Kitty and her family do this for love and not money. The kennels and animals were so well kept and loved. Thank you, my mom and Pheobe have become besties.
We left our lab Hugo with Perfect Paws for our holiday last year and were really pleased. We wanted to use them again this year, but unfortunately it looks like impossible! We've been trying to contact them for a fortnight, but the phone just rings and rings without being answered, and they don't respond to messages through their website either. What a shame!
Picked up our dog and had been bitten by a dog or cut her self in the kennel and they said didn’t know anything about it when I went back up to them and said something must of stung her and she did it. But the vet said it’s either a bite wound or cut from something sharp. Tried to call the kennels but number unavailable. My dog is now on pain relief and antibiotics because it’s infected.
Our dogs came to stay for a week, we have not long returned home. All three dogs have been well cared for. It is evident that all three have had lots of attention. They are very relaxed and calm. We have been very impressed with the professional advise regarding our old English sheep dog and his sensitive tummy. Not only have they shared their experience, they genuinely care. We would 💯 recommend doggie day care or ba9rding and looking forward to taking our dogs here again. Thank you for taking care of our dogs whilst we were away, it was comforting knowing we could relax as they were in very good hands x
We are so happy to have had our German Shepherds stay at Perfect Paws. The accommodation, the care and attention given to our ‘Bears’ was exceptional and all the people there are so caring and knowledgeable we are definitely taking the ‘Bears’ for their next holiday there. Purchased a puppy. All seemed well during the visit. However, after a visit to the vets to register her, we were informed that she was previously mistreated, had ear mites, and separation anxiety. When we tried to contact them, they said we don't answer messages (unlike how we contacted her to purchase in the first place) and that we were to call. So we tried to call them but they wouldn't answer our calls. The vets exact words were, they need reporting.
Absolutely brilliant dog boarding! We’ve used Perfect Paws a few times now. We have 3 dogs and Walter is now very old and needs special care. Nothing is too much trouble! The dogs always come out healthy, happy and clean! Thank you Jocelyn, Kitty and staff. We wouldn’t use anybody else!!!
We were worried about leaving our elderly dog for 10 days as due to COVID he hadn’t been in kennels for a long time. But I needn’t have worried as he came back really well and happy ( not anxious like previous visits to other kennels) I have utmost trust and confidence in the staff and they clearly love all the dogs in their care. Will definitely use again and highly recommend.
Our puppy Frankie spent a week here and what a perfect experience for us from start to end. The reassurance we got when booking Frankie in and throughout her stay was amazing. I definitely recommend for dog training, I have had individual sessions with Jo and my dog has definitely improved! She is very good with my dog and patient, he’s always happy to be there. I’ve learnt a lot of different training techniques too! 10/10 would recommend.

I have attended Joanne’s classes & have individual sessions with her and can highly recommend her . She understands our challenges and is very good with my young nervous dog. ( and nervous owner!). Wouldn’t have got to where I am now with my boy if it wasn’t for her help & advice . Very highly recommended.
My puppy, Shea, goes to visit Jo 2-3 days a week at Hopping Mad Pet services and I couldn't be more pleased with this service. She gets picked up, looked after and dropped off. Shea comes back well and truly tired out and is always very excited to see Jo when she comes to pick her up. This service is professional, friendly, reliable and I honestly couldn't recommend it enough. The fee is very reasonable for the level of care that she provides. I have complete confidence that my pup is looked after, the facilities that are available to the dogs are amazing as there's paddling pools, sand pits and all sorts of toys, shelters and space for the dogs to explore. Other than day care, there's boarding and training is offered which is a fantastic additional service to offer, which I will certainly be taking up in the future.
I highly recommend Kirby Bellars Pet Services for dog training. I enrolled in a 4 week course with our rescue dog Ralphy after bumping in to Jo on a walk. Ralphy is my first dog and I just wanted to build my confidence with the basics ( recall, loose lead walking, leadership etc) Jo is informative, proffesional, friendly & most of all patient & happy to go at my pace. Ralphy gets it first time round! Jo even finds time after our class to email me with what we went through as I find it hard to remember everything we cover! Ralphy is a nervous dog but he instantly took to Jo & we will be signing up to another 4 classes when these finish. I am so grateful to have found her.
Big thank you to Jo for looking after our 4 chickens while we were away. The regular updates and photos really help knowing they are fine and happy. Highly recommend Hopping mad pet services. Would definitely use again.
I called Hopping Mad and spoke to Jo direct .. hopping Mad had been recommended to me by someone else... i have a Springer cross English White Setter.. he is a lovely boy but quite lively and likes a lot of walks and love ect.. I asked Jo if she would walk Louie for me & we initially met up and got on very well.. Jo came & walked Louie & took him for a night and day care.. im very happy with the amount of attention Louie had and picture Jo sent me of Louie.. most of all Louie loves her and thats what is the most imortant thing for me peace of mind i will be calling Jo very soon for her help. Sally and Martin have looked after all our dogs for over 20 years. The service they offer is second to none. A real home from home, all our dogs pull to go in. They care and treat the dogs just like their own... you couldn't wish for better care. I have no hesitation in recommending them.

We can't put our dog into normal boarding kennels he hates being locked up. Martin and Sally look after every dog like their own and Oakley, my dog, loves it there .

Always take my Greyhound here when im away, honestly best kennels for miles, the staff are always friendly and actually seem to have a personal approach to your dog. My dog always comes out pretty relaxed so i know he's enjoyed it here. Highly recommended for anyone in or around the melton area.
They are lovely people who own the Lodge. Our dog has been with them for 6 weeks, and he loves them, he's even put a little bit of weight on. He even has some new friends.

Wonderful place for your dog's retreat whilst you're on holiday. I adopted my greyhound from here. Lovely, caring owners who love greyhounds! I always feel reassured knowing that my girl will be well cared for.
Knowledgeable, caring, flexible and friendly. Apparently the grub is delicious and all the staff can play footie better than I can. That's my dog's opinion. I'm always delighted to see him rush in, tail wagging. And, considering the level of service, it's very good value for money!

My cat is always well looked after here. He has daily brushes and is fed his own food. He’s as happy as a cat can be in a cattery away from home. Friendly staff who are welcoming.

Adopted our gorgeous greyhound 5 weeks ago. Beautiful place ran by dedicated people who truly love the animals in their care. Have booked to board our boy when we are away in August safe in the knowledge he'll be happy x Rosie confidently answers any questions you may have and is super helpful x would highly recommend this place.
Visited the greyhound rescue part. Great to see how much attention and training they get and that they have a nice quiet relaxing environment. Staff were friendly. Didn't visit the lodging side but based on how the greyhounds are looked after I'd quite happily explore the other services they provide.
