Wendy and Dennis were brilliant. I stayed with them the first night and went through things and I felt totally confident leaving my animals in their care. They are very reliable, responsible and kind. Kept me updated on the dogs, chickens and anything else. I cannot recommend them highly enough. I returned to very happy dogs and chickens, a wonderfully tidy house, presents on the table and food in the fridge. Only a pity I did not see them on my return as it would have been lovely to catch up. I hope they have another trip to Ireland and would be very welcome to stay. Thank you both so much.
Sarah and Patrick were supposed to take care, together with two friends of theirs, of our animals during one week of Whitsun holiday. For unforeseen circumstances, Sarah and Patrick unfortunately couldn’t come to France, so their friends Lucy and George came alone. From the first moment, we had a very good tuning with them, with a lot of laughing, making jokes etc. They were so friendly to our animals, and our animals loved them from the first strokes on. There was such a good mood together with them that we almost regretted to « have to leave » to the airport. But we left with absolute peace of mind, knowing that Lucy and George were very attentive to the individual needs of our animals, from geriatric dog Damla’s fear of rain and thunderstorm to skinny horse Babacan’s supplementary food away from the herd. During our absence Lucy and George gave regular updates about the animals, with photos and videos. As we could see from the photos, our animals had an excellent time with them! At our return, not only our house was tip-top clean and tidied up, but also delicious lemon curd and Scottish shortbread and cherry clafouti were waiting for us, accompanied by cheese and some whine. Thank you for the sweet welcoming!! All in all, we can definitely recommend Lucy and George as house sitters, all what you confide to them – house, animals, garden – will be in best hands ever. They listen to all explanations and take even small details attentively into consideration. And our review for them can be summarized in three words: please come back !
