A truly magnificent experience with two lovely cats. Nala and Lola were very calm and affectionate during my stay. They had no issues trusting me, which means they are clearly raised in a loving and safe environment. Nala does require a little extra care because of her asthma, but it was very easy and she seemed to enjoy it. As a solo traveler, I really appreciated how affectionate they were, especially Nala, who would linger on my lap and demand to be petted. Jessica and Andrew were well prepared for my stay so I felt comfortable and at home right away. They are also such a lovely couple with fascinating stories to share. The home itself is just a dream. So unique and charming, and right in the city center. This was a real dream stay and I look forward to the next chance!
Mitsou is (as described)the best temporary best friend you could find in San Francisco’s beautiful walkable historic Mission District. If you want to relax in San Francisco with everything you could need or want within walking distance, this home is perfect. Communication with Matthew was easy, responsibilities were clear and we felt super welcome in their home. The space was uncluttered and very clean. Beds are comfortable. They were very organized and helped us choose a couple of great restaurants, including Delfine for dinner and La Palma for the best fresh tortillas in town. And Mitsou immediately felt like a beloved family member. He was just the friendliest cat we have taken care of. We would be excited to come back and spend more quality time with Mitsou, exploring San Francisco, and relaxing in this lovely well-located home. I can highly recommend.
This was a very relaxing peaceful location with woodland out back where deer and lots of birds were seen daily. The screened lanai is a great place to sit for morning sun while watching wildlife with Eloise, while Cole didn't seem to want to be outside, he was happy sleeping inside, except at mealtime, for which both kitties were always eager! The hosts were good communicators prior to the sit and gave great instructions when I arrived the day before their trip. The kitty 'secret tips' were very helpful! During their trip they were often out of cell range and I heard little from them. One day was nice enough to use the large community pool, although the spa was unfortunately out of service. Long walks were good exercise the reminder to the stay, due to cold gusty weather. The guest room is comfortable with an adjustable bed from very soft to firm, and the bath next door. This is a friendly community with plenty to do at the clubhouse for those who care to join in.
We really enjoyed house sitting for Anne and Gordon in their lovely home with beautiful garden. Boris and Bella their lovely cats were very easy to look after. We felt very much at home and would welcome the opportunity to return.
