It was lovely taking care of Nathalie's two beautiful cats! They are both gorgeous and low-maintenance, and enjoy being brushed and pet. The apartment was wonderful, nestled right in the woods, very quiet and pretty. And the indoor pool and hot tub were an amazing bonus. Nathalie and her partner are wonderful and friendly, I had a great time chatting with them when they returned from their trip. I highly recommend this sit!
Tamara is an amazing host. She was very hospitable and provided everything needed to sit for her home. The dogs are easy to care for. Once they warmed up to me, they were super sweet. The home is very comfortable and is in an excellent neighborhood. Everyone I ran into was kind and helpful. I would happily sit for Tamara again.
I had a long travel itinerary on the day of my arrival, but when I finally arrived to Laura's home I was warmly greeted by Winnie. She is just the sweetest dog and Laura was really patient with me the day of arrival. Lovely home, comfy bed and amazing pet + owner! *Laura's welcome guide was really clear and helpful in providing overnight care for Winnie.
If you love walking dogs on a fantastic beach within a few minutes walk then I highly recommend this sit. Also situated 1 minute walk to Ryde high street so in a great location.
If you have the chance to take care of Atlas, you should jump at it. It was an absolute delight to take care of him! He is very playfull (he even plays catch like a doggy somethimes), lovely, also a very tiny bit naughty as a cat is suposed to be (trying to steal our food once, but I can't blame him ;) ) so... he is very easy to take care for!! Mincho made us very welcome from the beginning, we could use the monitor for WFH, the apartment was great and all easy in use ... we were almost concerned he'd miss his flight due to our nice chatting!! Communications about Atlas was very easy over whatsapp! We already miss playing and cuddling with the little bugger!
This was one of our favorite sits. Irene and Bill are lovely people, very warm and welcoming. Irene even drove us around the area so we knew where to find everything, which was incredibly helpful. The house is a combination of original brick and hardwood with antique furnishings, and a wonderful master suite addition on the back. We ate every meal but one out on the deck in the lush backyard. Taches is quite obsessed with light reflections and shadows, so early morning and late afternoon sunlight are a challenge. To stop him barking, try to redirect his attention with a treat-filled toy. Long walks with the harness will help burn off some of his energy. Atlanta has so much to offer- Piedmont Park and the Atlanta Botanical Gardens are just down the road from the house, and downtown attractions are only a ten minute drive away. You'll enjoy this assignment.
