Having Darci care for our 3 cats and 1 dog during our almost 3 week trip has been a wonderful experience. The pets were very well taken care of and Darci regularly sent pictures and updates. Our house threw her some curveballs in the form of sprinkler system and internet issues, and Darci was great to work with as we were troubleshooting remotely. We would definitely use her again as a house and pet sitter!
We couldn't have asked for better house sitters than Cathie and Mike. They first sat for us for a week in late September, and when another trip came up six days later in early October, they agreed to cover that period as well. When we returned from our first trip, our house looked better than it was when we left, and our pets acted as if we hadn't gone anywhere (a good thing). When Cathie and Mike returned for our second trip, our dogs happily greeted them as reunited pack members (another good thing). Cathie sent us daily updates during our travels, and had no problems administering with the medications needed by two of our pets. She and Mike also deftly handled the intrusion of a skunk into our back yard, thereby preventing an encounter with our dogs. The best part of having Cathie and Mike sit for you is the peace of mind of knowing with confidence that your home and pets are in expert and caring hands while you're traveling. We would love to invite them again for our next trip.
