Spectacularly renovated farmhouse in French countryside. The house, grounds, pool and views make for one of the most relaxing housesits while the cats add a whole lot of fun company. The house kitchen was designed for great cooks and the local markets are easily accessible by car to support this. Jump at the opportunity if this sit is listed.
A great experience amazing house with good WiFi Very well behaved cat Thunder Close to bus and town Street parking no problem Good outside seating and BBQ area Would recommend
Briana & Ralph are a lovely couple with a gorgeous home and an even more gorgeous dog! Bronson is such a loving boy, you will get all the snuggles from him. He also loves playing tough of war 😊 I really enjoyed my stay. Thanks for making it easier clearing space for my stuff and leaving a welcome gift, much appreciated!
Christina and even her boyfriend Joerg are absolutely lovely and I truly enjoyed their company at the beginning and the end of my stay. Both cats are very independent, but they communicate clearly if they want something or if they just want to "talk". I guess Benny felt a little bit in love with me, so he came at least one or two times a day to get his belly rubs. The house is light flooded and I loved the garden area around it. Surprisingly almost no extra work. I felt absolutly comfortable during the whole stay and, had a fantastic work life balance including visiting a little bit the surroundings. There is soooo much to see! If you want a luxury sit in Germany at the Rhin, this is the place to be!
We couldn’t have had a better first house sit. Roslyn is the nicest person, we immediately felt welcomed like friends. She was extremely nice to us. Plus she raised such a well behaved furry son.. Buddy is a sweetheart and even though the house sit was short, we fell in love with him. It was hard to say goodbye, but we knew he is with the most loving mum he could ask for. Thank you again for having us! Cannot recommend Roslyn and Buddy enough.
Mike and I are delighted to recount our overwhelmingly positive experience at June and Nic's home. They are incredibly endearing and humorous individuals who made us feel instantly at home with their warm and heartfelt welcome. Their openness and genuine interest in us led to engaging conversations that became the backbone of our enjoyable stay. Even though our spoken English occasionally wavered, the essence of our conversations and the connection we shared remained undeterred. The house itself is a beautifully renovated and listed property, impeccably clean upon our arrival. This spoke volumes of the effort June and Nic had invested to ensure our comfort. Our private quarters included a cozy room and a bathroom, adding a level of comfort to our stay. The heart of the house, the kitchen, was a haven that invited us to cook and bake. What added to our exceptional stay were Cilla and Douglas, their two dogs. They managed to leave an indelible paw print on our hearts. Douglas, a talkative soul (no worries, he doesn't bark, he talks!) expressing his love freely, and Cilla, full of love and joy, despite a slight leg handicap, were splendid dogs to spend time with. Their bond was evident in their playful bouts and shared cuddles. With their healthy and athletic figures it was a joy to walk them, with their excellent behavior on the leash and excited leaps at the sight of rabbits adding a sprinkle of adventure to the mix. Our mornings were made doubly enjoyable by waking up to their adorable antics - Dougie’s always howling with a blanket in his mouth and Cilla stretching in utter bliss. This heartwarming experience extended beyond the house to the breathtaking local landscape, a picturesque vista of endless fields under dramatic cloud formations. It was as if we were living in a painting. Communication was seamless throughout our stay, and we look forward to maintaining this connection with June, Nic, Cilla, and Douglas. We eagerly anticipate the opportunity to return to this wonderful home and can't recommend this experience enough. The unforgettable blend of warm hospitality, comfort, and heartwarming canine companionship makes a stay at June and Nic's a truly unique and delightful experience.
