Claire was wonderful. Communication in advance of the sit was very clear and courteous. She went out of her way to arrive one evening earlier so that we would have the chance to show her everything before we left, and we loved getting a chance to know her (she's an amazing pianist! as well as a warm and interesting person). During our trip she sent us daily updates about our cat--who was clearly extremely happy--and was closely attentive to the upkeep of the house. When we returned the house was cleaner than when we left, and she even left us a gift. We couldn't recommend Claire any more highly, and we would consider ourselves lucky if she were willing to come and sit for us again.
Lannie and Chris took care of our pets for two weeks in April 2017 and were wonderful. We met them before the sit and they kept to their word throughout the sit, communicating about the animals and sending photos. They were obviously animal-lovers and because Lannie works from home she was able to spend a good deal of time with them during the day. They are both responsible and very mature for their age - when one of our Border Collies became ill suddenly they contacted the vet and took him in to be checked out. They took great care of both our pets as well as the house and I could see that our pets grew to love them during our absence. Lannie is very neat and tidy and the house was in a very clean condition on our return. We would recommend them for any housesit of both cats and dogs (Lannie grew particularly fond of our cat McLeod) .
