Highly recommend Pet Park Hotel (Wendy and Gary). Having had awful experiences with other places, one of my friends recommended PPH and I haven't looked back. My dog has separation anxiety, which has improved by his going to doggy daycare twice a week (with 1 overnight stay). The dogs aren't all put together like in some places, they are separated based on temperament, etc, which is the right way to do it. My dog practically jumps out of the car and rushes up to the pen (after giving Wendy a massive hug and a lick usually). They will also send a video if I ask for one (especially during longer stay as I miss my dog!). 5 stars from me!

Incredible! Like summer camp for dogs. They picked up and dropped off our boy for a 2-week stay. He had the best time ever, playing with his new BFFs (they sent videos!) You can tell they love dogs and really take great care of them. They even had canopies, fans, and cooling mats when it got hot. Reasonable rates and a beautiful location. Your pup won’t even miss you!

We left our Cockapoo Teddy with Gary and Wendy for just over 3 weeks. We were worried as we had not left Teddy for that long before. However, Wendy and Garry couldn’t do enough for the boy. They sent regular videos of Teddy in his environment with a message as well which was fantastic. We can’t thank them enough! What a great place to leave your loved pets. We highly recommend. It’s clear to see that that both Gary and Wendy love all dogs and I believe any dog who stays with them become like their own. Monza hates being apart from us but having stayed now 3 times he is away without a second glance after kissing and jumping over both Gary and Wendy. Can’t recommend them enough.

Our dog Gemma has just returned from a 6 day stay. The care that she received is above and beyond. She is always happy to go and has a great time. As an only dog it gives her a chance to socialise with other dogs and loves it. The collection and return service is wonderful as we don't have transport.

My husband and I are so grateful to Caroline for looking after our JRT, Bella, for 3 days while we attended a wedding in Alvor. She was really helpful from initial phone contact, collected and delivered Bella promptly at the agreed times. I would have no hesitation in recommending this lady.

We are so happy with Leslie. For our (first) dog Lotte, a small 7 month old poodle we were looking for grooming services in Lagos. We didn't really know what care she needed so we’re even more happy to have found Bed & Biscuits! Leslie took a lot of time and answered all of our questions at a friendly phone call and again at the first meeting. You can immediately tell how much she loves dogs and that it is truly her passion. We immediately felt that we were leaving Lotte in good hands and were very excited about the result. Since Lotte never had been groomed before, we were extra nervous on how she would do/behave. But Leslie takes her time with the dog, listens to her needs and slowly gets her used to the grooming process. When we picked up Lotte we were overjoyed. She looked sooo cute - Expectations for sure exceeded! Lotte said goodbye to Leslie with a happy wiggle tail. We can only wholeheartedly recommend Leslie to everyone and are super happy to have found her here in the Algarve! We look forward to every visit and are grateful for her tips and expertise! Big shout out to Leslie Craig and her Bed and Biscuits dog hotel. Sophie spent almost 3 weeks there on doggie 🐶 vacation while I was delayed in the USA. She got to run in the woods and play at the beach and hang out with Leslie’s dogs at the Quinta in the big dog run. With her private “heated” bedroom she now puts herself to bed. The bonus was a bath and grooming so now she looks prettier than ever and feels incredibly soft. Highly recommend taking your dog for stays or overnights. She’s conveniently located outside of Lagos. We took Baxter our cocker spaniel for a groom and we were so pleased when we picked him up. He had been cut to cocker spaniel breed standard from the book. Much better than some of the grooming he had in the UK. Excellent.

I'm so glad I found Algarve Pet Sitters, in the person of Vanessa. She was perfect, and I felt completely reassured leaving my cat with her for a week. Every day, I received photos and videos of my cat, and it was clear she was enjoying her time with Vanessa. Although she also sits for dogs and other animals, she ensured that my cat was the only cat staying with her for the week, which was very important to me. Vanessa was amazing, she was able to accept and take Care Of our dog with a very short notice (less than two hours!). Our dog was really happy with her, and Vanessa would always be in touch by sending updates and pictures of our Arya 😍😍😍 I would recommend her 100% shes lovely with all of the pets she takes care of ☺☺☺

Vanessa took excellent care of Zalto for two consecutive periods, one long weekend and thereafter during a two week period. We were constantly informed about how she behaved and what activities they undertook. Needless to say, Zalto had a more active time with Vanessa than at home. My little dog stayed with Vanessa for two weeks whilst I was away. Vanessa sent me several daily updates in pictures, films and messages reassuring me my doggy was having fun, out walking and playing and generally just happy. Vanessa welcomed my little dog in to her home treating him as her own. I’m very grateful for my dog being so well looked after and cared for.

Nessa was fabulous and gave our Cavapoo Stewie excellent care during his day and overnight stays. Stewie formed a great bond with Nessa and the other pets he hung out with during his visits. Stewie will miss Nessa and hopefully we’ll see her later in the year.
