Pet Sitters in Meynes

Jean is a very reliable, friendly sitter. We were able to go visit our family in the states for four weeks plus a week trip with friends here in Sicily. He speaks Italian, English and French so we knew he would be able to get around and that if a cat escaped Jean could find help. He also tightened the handles on my pots and pans as well as fixing a couple other things just because he could 🙂. When we returned the cats went right back to our routine. The only thing that could have been better is the litter box needed fresh litter in it... but other then that we would have Jean again. I love that he is just a good person. He is the kind of sitter who you wish you had a little extra time and room so you can hang out with them. We wish Jean all the best on his adventures.

I was very happy with Marianne for being available on such short notice. My previous sitter had canceled, leaving me without a cat sitter a week before the date. Fortunately, Marianne was available, and with her years of experience, I could leave with peace of mind. She was very flexible with scheduling and left the house tidy. I definitely recommend her.

Where to begin? I guess with the joy of meeting such a beautiful young family of four. Due to a family emergency, I had to leave the country quickly, and Madeleine responded within a few hours of my posting the sit, and we confirmed quickly. Madeleine (Maddy); her husband, Sam; and their adorable, well-behaved and precocious (in the best possible!) children, Isaac and Hazel arrived a day early so I could show them around. They instantly connected with the dogs, and me, and I felt totally confident and at ease leaving the responsibilities of the dogs and house to them. While I was gone, they sent me regular updates, with photos, of their family outings on the property with the dogs, and I was completely at peace during a very difficult time, dealing with the loss of my son and my mother. What they didn’t send me were photos of all the mowing and brush cutting that Sam had been doing! Indeed, in addition to exceptional care of the dogs — and additional burdens like watering 90 young olive trees by hand, as well as other plants and garden, tending to hens — Sam tackled long overdue maintenance of the grounds, including tractor mowing and brush cutting with a powerful Stihl brush-cutter that I still don’t even dare to use! What a gift it was to return to such a tidy place. When I had to prolong my stay abroad and arranged to have another sitter come to fill in the gap, Maddy and Sam arranged for a perfect transition, explaining everything that needed to be done and how (not at all evident, and spread out all over the property), and it happened without a hitch. They left their guesthouse spotless, the grounds in better shape than it had been in months, and my two dogs happy and stress-free. I’m so grateful to all four of you for your kindness and generosity. I’m glad you live so close, so that you can come back and visit. You’re welcome anytime.

Rich and Rachel were the best dog sitters I've ever had. They were easy to communicate with, reliable and very friendly. They updated us regularly with pictures and took great care of our dogs, above and beyond what I would expect. They left our house cleaner than they found it and were very helpful all around. I couldn't recommend them more highly.

Très belle rencontre, attentionnés, à l'écoute, tout a été parfait. En toute confiance, Modjo et Germain étaient ravis de leurs gardiens. Angy et Lauris sont adorables et très bienveillants Je recommande vivement et sans aucune retenue, de la préparation avant leur arrivée jusqu'au départ, tout a été comme sur des roulettes. Et même une très douce attention à mon égard lors de mon retour, des galettes de maïs très très bonnes, préparées spécialement pour moi, c'était vraiment touchant. Ines and Bruno were very flexible with the start date, which had to change due to a family emergency. They arrived on time, and it was obvious they had carefully studied our home guide before their arrival. They quickly acclimated themselves to our home and to the daily duties necessary to care for our Tippy. We left to catch our train very confident in their concern and abilities. From the pictures they sent during our 3.5 days away, we knew they and Tippy were bonding well. We arrived home to find Tippy relaxed and happy, and our home was cleaner than when we left it, which says a lot about their attention to detail and kindness. Ines and Bruno are a bright, creative, and socially conscious couple, and we recommend them to other pet owners without reservation.

Melanie is a very friendly person with a positive personnality. She is very efficient and looked after my two small Pinschers very well, even though they can sometimes be a bit difficult with people they don't know and the older one, Chipie, needs medication added to her food. The dogs seemed very happy with Melanie. There was good communication between us while I was away and Melanie sent photos of their walks. Melanie also left the house clean and took care of my plants. I would have no hésitation in recommending her to anybody for dog or house sitting. I liked her very much and hope she will stay in touch!

Sara and Antonin are the best pet sitters ever! They looked after our cats with love for more than a month, sending us photos that made us feel confident about their health. We were relaxed knowing they were in our home. Our cats became so fond of Sara and Antonin that they followed them when they left. Our cat Arturo has never been petted by anyone other than us, but after a few days, Sara and Antonin managed to get closer to him and make him love them too. They are truly two special persons, we are happy to have met them and we have no hesitation in recommending them as pet sitters.

Steve was a wonderful sitter for Lucy, she took to him from the start & I think that was to do with his calm manner. He is the most obliging, polite & kind man, unassuming & very clean. It is such a nice feeling to come home to find a happy dog & relaxed sitter. It is obvious that Lucy was well looked after, she was a happy dog & that is all we wanted…. Thank you Steve, it was a pleasure to have you sit for us.

Floriane and Estelle were delightful. They left the house better than they found it. And they charmed the cat which is hard to do! We would be happy to have them come again and give them a five star review.

A second round with Sylvain and as happy as we were the first time! We found the house in perfect conditions with an happy cat and watered tomatoes. Sylvain was super flexible as we finally needed to be back home 2 days before what was planned.. Thanks again for that and everything else! Who knows, third time's a charm 🙂 .

We feel so blessed to have met Justine and Andrea and have them care for Otis. They have been an utter pleasure from the moment they applied - very organised, careful to ask about all of Otis' needs and very loving and attentive with him. We loved having them to stay and Otis has been very well cared for. I would recommend both of them highly- kind, caring, considerate and wonderful!
