Anna was really friendly and immediately formed a strong bond with Rosie (my dog). Rosie usually takes 5-10 minutes to really warm up to someone but within seconds she got the zoomies and then when Anna sat on the ground to greet her properly Rosie ran straight to her and was immediately comfortable. This straight away put my mind at ease and knew Rosie and my two cats were im good hands. Anna checked with me what level of contact I wanted and sent me daily updates with videos/photos. I had some confusion with the app but Anna was extremely patient and supportive with this. The house was clean and the bed stripped when I returned home. I would definitely recommend Anna for future sits!
Tootsie and Razz are very obedient. Razz likes to be outside under the car, if anyone has trouble finding him. They all usually stay near the house with Tootsie being in the house most of the time. The plants need a water once a day as the heat kills out there. The area is very quaint. There’s a really cool boutique called The Burlap Sack which I recommend.
Rocky is adorable! When we got to Brooke's house, she was already ready for cuddles and belly scratches. She loves to play ball, is easy to walk and will come back to you off leash. She can escape if she smells food but what dog doesn't! We loved our stay at Brooke's house, it has everything you need to spend the weekend and the neighbourhood is lovely and walkable.
Colin & Amanda were quick, consistent and efficient with communications right form the start. They have an excellent and detailed set of instructions for the sit and they gave me a thorough handover, which helped me settle in. Barney & Tinka are a joy! Prepare to have your hearts stolen. They are very easy to care for and no trouble at all. So loving, affectionate, good natured and fun to be with. I am glad I have another sit with them already booked for July, as I really miss them. The house is very comfortable and the light there is beautiful. A really wonderful space all round! Thank you Colin & Amanda, for a wonderful sit and hopefully seen you soon. X
You could not meet a lovelier family, and we fell head over heels in love with their furry gang. Emma and Dylan were, from when we first spoke to them up until we left the sit, so incredibly generous, kind and welcoming. They kept in great communication before and during the sit and we always felt completely at home, with all of the information we needed. Blue, Pacifica and Mouse were such fun to have as company even when we were working from home and were a breeze to look after. Halloumi - what can we say! It took about an hour for us to fall in love with her. She is the most adorable, loving, characterful little doggy that we felt genuinely heartbroken to say goodbye to at the end! We couldn’t recommend a sit with this lovely family enough, and anyone who has the opportunity to is very lucky! We really hope we can return one day :) xx
This was an absolutely fantastic house sit and we enjoyed every single minute! Ray and Marcy are lovely people, and prepared us for any eventuality with a well put together guide book on looking after the cats, taking care of the house and things to do in the area. We were picked up in Chitre and picked up groceries before being driven out to the house where Ray and Marcy spent a couple of days with us going over everything and preparing us for the house sit. This also gave us time to get to know the wonderful cats. Each one is very unique with their own personality and will keep you constantly entertained. Colby sometimes likes to jump up and be caught which was always fun! We are now missing them greatly now that the house sit is over. The guide book included numbers for emergencies or anyone we needed to contact, and Ray and Marcy were easily available via whatsapp or phone for any questions throughout. We had a gardener and handyman come over once a week to check the roads and complete oddjobs around the outside of the house. It really is a fantastic location to stay, overlooking the village of Bucaro and the sea, and surrounded by rain forests with monkeys hanging around the premises. There is also a beach at the bottom of the hill to relax at. We were given the use of a truck to explore the area and pick up any groceries needed, as the place is located about 30 minutes drive from the nearest town of Tonesi to pick these up. The locals were always friendly to us, and there are a couple of English speaking expats that are sometimes around to chat with. There were a few power outages whilst we were there which we were told was likely to happen, and we were prepared for these by Ray and Marcy, showing us how to use the back up system and generator when this happened. All the information needed is also in the guidebook provided. Anyone taking on this house sit will have a fantastic time if you enjoy nature, your own company, love cats, and stunning views! If we were ever back in the area we would definitely love to do this house sit again!
Hannah made me feel very welcome in her home, with her detailed welcoming guide and her easy going, friendly and trusting attitude towards me. Getting to know eachother before through videocall and staying in touch about the details of the sit through WhatsApp felt very natural, as was keeping her updated on how Mila was doing and the rest of my stay. Her appartment is very nice, clean, light and cozy and conventiently located on walking distance from supermarkets and Leiden Central Station. Hannah was so kind as to lend me her bike, which made exploring Leiden even more fun. Also the beach is only a 30 minute ride away! Mila is just the cutest and funniest cat. She is very easy to take care of and very easy to befriend. She likes playing, cuddling and 'talking' to you all day long, which I found to be loads of fun. Since you sleep in the same room as Mila, bringing earplugs might be wise: one of her fixed playing times is in the middle of the night :-). In short: highly recommended sit! :-) Thanks Hannah & Mila, I had a great time!

I would rate these guys 10 stars if I could. My little man goes every 7 weeks and has a ball, not only do they do a perfect groom I know he’s in such good care when they have him. I can’t rate Doggie Homestayz highly enough! Our dog Alfie, who is super smart but also quite anxious—especially after our recent move—absolutely loved his stay. His anxiety seemed to melt away with all the activities, love and care he received. He had an amazing time playing with the other dogs and loved activities like splashing around in the pool and chasing the hose. Honestly, we were a little concerned about taking him home because he looked like he was having so much fun—possibly more than he does at home! Chantaelle, was also so amazing. We booked very last minute and she went above and beyond to make it work for Alfie. We will forever be grateful! Chantalle and her husband looked after our three pugs for the night and absolutely spoiled and loved them. We were sent many photos of how happy and at home they all felt and it was so warming to see them all smiling. Donna and Farrah from Beyond Boarding Pet Services are simply the best! We needed someone who has a very good understanding of canine behaviour to mind our spoodle, Max, who is a special case. He's a rescue dog with a few issues - he resource guards, has separation anxiety and can get a bit stroppy at night, but most times he's an adorable, affectionate, happy doggo. We've owned Max for just over 12 months and until now we've been reluctant to leave him with anyone as we were nervous of how he would behave particularly at night. We had tickets to Cirque du Soleil, so we needed to figure out what to do with Max at night - leave him alone at home for seven hours, board him overnight in a commercial dog kennel, or have a dog sitter mind him in his own home. We nervously chose the latter not knowing how Max would behave at night. All went well at the start with Max immediately bonding with Farrah giving her lots of loving licks and tail wagging. However, during the course of the evening while my husband and I were being spellbound by the magic of Cirque du Soleil, Max's night time stroppy persona appeared so instead of a tail wagging happy doggy, Max became growly and anti-social. Although disappointed that they were missing out on lots of cuddles, Donna and Farrah calmly accepted his behaviour while texting me updates for which we were very grateful. Thank you Donna and Farrah for putting up with Max's bad manners so calmly and competently. It means a lot to us that you were there for Max and at no time did you loose your cool!
Donna walked our beautiful labrador Charlie for a number of years in Sydney and we miss her kind, compassionate care. Charlie was always super excited to see her and stood at the window waiting for her when I said Donna was coming! We can't recommend her highly enough to take care of your fur babies. She is amazing! Donna took care of our 2 dogs and 2 cats beautifully while we were overseas for 19 days. We cannot recommend Donna's services highly enough. Donna helped me out of a bind over Christmas time… i was a new customer and she was fully booked however she went out of her way to squeeze us in and accommodate our Bearded Dragon Bruno! Whilst Donna was not very familiar with caring for Bearded Dragons she quickly learnt and followed us up with questions whilst we were away rather than just leaving him! I recently boarded my bird, Lorri, at this wonderful bird boarding facility, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. Had my bird Rio stay at Gold Coast Bird Boarding, and she was very well looked after. With an assortment of different foods from seeds, to biscuits, to fruit and veg and leaves; Rio was never left hungry and had plenty of water to drink. Caitlin even managed to teach her a new trick while I was away. I even bought some extra bird food and some toys for Rio. A friend recommended Ridgeview about 4yrs ago & now we are a frequent client for our 2 Frenchies. I truely wouldn't take them anywhere else! He was so well looked after and by watching the videos and photos that Louise sent each day, he had so much fun, was so loved and he even learned new, positive habits. The best doggy daycare on the Gold Coast! My dog Eddie went to Ridgeview Retreat regularly until we moved interstate recently, and he absolutely loved it. The premises is amazing for dogs with the large yard and pool and the fact that the dogs get taken on pack walks is another big plus. The daily photo updates were great. Also, the owners Stephen and Louise are wonderful people. Highly recommended!

Highly recommended! My border collie pup Buddy really enjoyed his time here playing in the pool and the huge yard. Thank you for all the photos of Buddy having a great time with all the dogs, big and small. Thank you also for the slip leash, and the leash walking training (for Buddy and also to teach me how to use it properly). He is now walking directly next to me with no pulling or any issues. Definitely will be bringing Buddy back at least once per month! Thanks again Louise and Stephen.
I can’t recommend Louise highly enough! As a young couple, our 2 year old German Shepherd is our baby! We have not had a shepherd before (or a big dog for that matter) . Louise has been kind enough to teach us how to best look after our shepherd! Louise and her husband looked after Ziggy while we went on holidays, they were so loving and made sure we felt comfortable leaving ziggy! We were constantly updated with photos and videos! Ziggy instantly respected and listened to Louise, which was so nice! Can’t wait for Ziggy to have her next adventure at Ridgeview Retreat!

Our Great Dane cross Chilli had the best time at Ridgeview Retreat for her first time away from home. She had a great time playing with other dogs, swimming in the pool and going on a pack walk. Louise and Stephen were lovely, and we loved how they kept us updated with photos and messages throughout her stay.
The best!! Highly recommend. We travel an hour a half to get there as they are so amazing with our little Cavoodle. It is safe and secure, the dogs have loads of fun, go on walks, get lots of cuddles. Plus we receive lots of photos of her day. Thank you for always taking such wonderful care of our Teddy.
Last time I left my young dog at a kennel for 2 days she came home injured & ill. Not knowing where to go in future I asked Justin from Burleigh stockfeed, he'd known Louise & Stephen for years telling me they were the best. Louise heard my concerns & offered a 'trial day' for my young dog. I left her in their care for 1 week, recieved daily updates, photos of her swimming, walking, sleeping & a map of her walking track. The young dog I picked up was calm, confident & in perfect health. I couldnt recommend this duo enough. Meeting Zoey has changed our lives as we are now able to travel and visit family again. We are very attached to our Mini Schauzer, as she is to us, and we would not leave her unless we were totally confident she would be as well looked after as she is at home. Zoey and her daughters Shiloh and Ivy treat her as part of their family and spoil her like we do. Maggie May is a lovely, gentle dog. Zoey is a beautiful person and loves the dogs she cares for. Zoe regularly looks after my cocker spaniel, 7 month old Chester and I wouldn’t leave him with anyone else, he is showered with love, hugs and affection and treated like he is part of the family when he visits. Cannot recommend her services highly enough, she sends me regular photo updates whilst I am away and it’s such peace of mind knowing my fur baby is so well looked after and loved whilst I am away. He is sooo excited to get to Zoe’s and doesn’t like leaving so I know he absolutely loves Zoe and her family to bits 💕🐶
Zoey has the most beautiful and loving family that welcomed my 1 yr old Golden Retriever into their home for a week in early September! My boy Toby had the best time and didnt want to leave when I picked him up! Also SO AFFORDABLE! my goodness you can tell she does it out of love for animals, 10000% recommend Walk & Wag to any one as I will NEVER use "pet resorts" ever again after the incredible service she provides for your fur children!
Our beautiful groodle has separation anxiety and not settled in previous day care. She loves other doggies but doesn’t socialise very well if we aren’t there. Suzi Pooch has a lovely relaxed atmosphere with excellent, attentive staff. They have ensured that our girl has plenty of attention and she is settling nicely now. We would highly recommend this lovely facility.
Great daycare, the dogs loved it, and were running to the gate. The dogs went here each day for 4 days while my partner and I attended some attractions at the Gold Coast. They loved their time here, ran eagerly to the gate each morning, and were worn out in the afternoon. Staff are friendly and passionate, care for all the dogs well. Be mindful that because of this, the first day will be a shorter trial day, with owners on call to ensure that all dogs attending are well behaved, and not aggressive etc. before accepting dogs for regular care.

I can't recommend Suzi Pooch enough! From the moment we walked in, Rosie and Louis felt right at home. The staff are incredibly friendly and professional, ensuring that both my dogs were comfortable and well-cared for. The facility is clean, welcoming, and designed with dogs' happiness in mind. Rosie enjoyed her grooming session and came out looking absolutely fabulous. Louis had a blast in the daycare area, playing with other dogs and burning off his endless energy. It's such a relief knowing they are in good hands and having a great time. Thank you, Suzi Pooch, for providing a safe and fun environment for my fur babies. We'll definitely be back!
Suzi pooch has the most beautiful atmosphere for my dog harry . On drop off his so excited all the staff are so beautiful and friendly can. It recommend this enough !!!
Absolutely love Suzi Pooch! I used to feel so guilty leaving Winston at home alone whilst I went to work. Now, he's having so much fun at Suzi Pooch, that he barely notices I've come to collect him. This place is amazing, it is like a day spa/theme park for dogs all rolled into one. The staff are super friendly and I know my dog is in good hands. My puppy comes home so tired after all the fun he has at Suzi Pooch. Highly recommend.
My dog has been attending Suzi Pooch Doggy Daycare a few days per week, and the staff there are very knowledgeable and professional. My dog used to be quite shy around humans, but in the short time he has been going to daycare, he has improved so much that I can now walk down the street without him reacting negatively.
My little Henry LOVES Suzi Pooch! He may be an old man in dog years but he plays like a puppy again with all his new friends. The staff are incredibly loving and caring and the facility is so clean (heaven). What more could you ask for?
