We had a fabulous time house sitting for Jill and Peter. We arrived the day before they left and we were made extremely welcome. Their property is gorgeous, very rural so you need a car. The house is comfortable and very clean. We completely fell in love with with Tapu and Keri, that are very sweet and gentle cats, they sleep most of day on the large deck area and will come and seek to you out later in the day for cuddles and some lap time. Keri is very placid, even when you put her eye drops in, she will just lay in your arms and let you do it, I think she knows she has cuddles and some fussing once you are done. Tapu likes to graze his food, so little amounts often. He will announce when he enters the room and is content once you answer him back, gorgeous. They both like to have a walk in the evening up to the gate, it’s very sweet. The chickens are extremely easy going and put themselves to bed, all you have to do is shut the door on them and open it in the morning and give them some food twice a day. We highly recommend this sit and hope to meet up with Jill and Peter in the future.
I had an amazing time staying at Krista’s adorable home in Truckee with her sweet pets Mary Jane and Ah Toy! The location is incredible being a few minutes walk to downtown Truckee and the neighborhood is beautiful. MJ and AT were so easy to care for and a joy to be around. Krista was a great communicator and I’d be happy to sit for them again!
We had a great time with Peaches, Max and Mollie. They were all very affectionate and easy to care for. Jen and Lee are excellent hosts. Communication was great and the house was set up perfectly for us on arrival. The house is very comfortable and in a great neighborhood, perfect for exploring the Reno/Sparks/Tahoe area. Highly recommended!
