Jody was a great communicator before the sit, wrote a great Welcome Pack and left plenty of info (and really handy sticky notes everywhere!) so this was a great sit. Jodys house is something special and super cosy. Miss C, Tigga and Joey all had different personalities and were super affectionate and vocal once they got to know me. A fabulous experience!
Amanda was an absolute dream to house sit for! She’s incredibly kind and accommodating and her cat Winnie is absolutely incredible!
Had a great time. Really good people and a really good cat. Guinness is so friendly I loved spending time with him. Funny thing is he loves going outside so be ready to be a door person to a cat the whole trip. 😂 So cute! They even left me a welcome package of some of their wine which was the best I’ve tried in Oregon.
In short: Sitting Simba and Nahla was a delight. Communication with Beth was quick and easy before, during and after the sit and she was very kind every step of the way. The apartment is more than comfortable and has anything you need. It's also in a great location, with multiple supermarkets right around the corner and the inner city just a short walk away. I can definitely recommend this sit and would love to come back! The two kitties are sweethearts. Nahla was my little shadow – every time I got up to do something, I could hear pitter patter behind me and see her little head poking out from behind a nearby wall! Simba is a bit skittish and wasn't sure if he liked me in the beginning, but warmed up to me relatively quickly. Once he knows you, he's the cutest little love bug. He does like to burrow away sometimes, but will come out when he wants to (or if you offer a treat!). Both of them love being outside on the spacious balcony, and I spent most of my time working from there as well. Playtime is also a must. They'll let you know when they want to play! I also really enjoyed getting to meet Beth before she left for her trip. It was a great way to get to know each other and the pets and ask some last questions I wouldn't have thought of before arriving. We got along well and Beth was a wonderful host, which made me feel at ease. :)
