Cat Sitters in Micanopy, FL

Summer and Ryan did a great job taking care of our fur babies! We were able to enjoy a couple meals with them and their adorable family before heading out. We had a great time. It was nice having Isabella interact with a baby around her age! They kept the house super nice and clean which was a relief; I had a long journey back home to Puerto Rico and having my home clean was one less thing I had to worry about. Ryan was kind enough to plant some palms we had and cut the grass which was greatly appreciated!! Being on an island and on island time, a couple things arose which they took with stride (washer man pushed the appointment to fix the washer to a later date forcing them to use the laundromat, and the towns power went out for a day or two). I’m grateful that they understood and appreciated that culture and infrastructure is a bit different here. I’m stoked they got to experience island life before possibly pursuing a similar venture, and we would gladly have them again (:

I don’t want to leave anything too positive, because we don’t want to share Nicole. ☺️ This was our 5th time to use “Aunt” Nicole. We adopted her as our Aunt, because she is so full of wonderful and amazing tips and suggestions. She absolutely loves and cares for our two special kitties, as if they were her own. And they love her as much as we do!!! Looking forward to having her return this coming weekend.

Mariah and Scott did a great job of communicating, being reliable/self sufficient and providing excellent care for both our cat (Merlin) and our home. We would welcome them back anytime. Thanks Folks!

David was a great house and cat sitter for us for the 2+ weeks we were traveling. He's a very responsive, communicative and personable guy, kept the house super neat/clean and, most importantly, our kitty, Jerry, seemed to really take to him. We'd highly recommend David to anyone.

Daria And Alex were perfect guests! They were very flexible and quick to respond when necessary. They took great care of mango as well. Even when she seemed to have had an upset tummy, they weren’t phased, but communicated everything clearly. They left the house in perfect condition, and mango was in excellent spirits when I got home! I would definitely use them again.

Paula was amazing! This was a first sit for both of us - and while it ultimately did not take place because I came down with COVID-19, she was flexible, never lost her cool, and communication was constant with me as I began canceling everything for the weekend 24 hours out. Paula and I had talked extensively; she had reviewed the welcome packet with me, and we were ready for this sit. A twist to the weekend was that I had a non-refundable hotel. I offered it to Paula as she had never been to the area, and I didn't want her weekend ruined because of my illness. She accepted the room and was able to explore the city on her own. She even sent me photos of her time here. I will absolutely be reaching out to Paula again - to sit this next time!! Thank you, Paula.

Akemi was an amazing pet sitter for our vacation! Our dogs were well taken care of- and they can be high energy! I would have Akemi back in a heartbeat. Highly recommend!

Elaine was delightful to meet, respectful of our home, and wonderful with our dog, Rio. She sent photos often and reassured us things were fine while we were away for almost 3 weeks. We would definitely have her come again !!

Jackie came and stayed at my house for the second time & she does a great job! She communicates well, is flexible about times for coming and going, and the dogs are well cared for and happy! She leaves my house clean and does the laundry & washes the dishes, which I appreciate. I definitely recommend her as a sitter and will hopefully use her again sometime soon! 

Jennifer was a joy to work with! She stayed with my two 80 pound shepherd puppies and gave them lots of walks, playtime, and ear scratches. She learned their schedule and helped keep it while we traveled. The communication and coordination between us was never an issue. Jennifer sent lots of pictures with the puppies showing them on walks and playtime. After a full day of travel, I wasn’t looking forward to sweeping up the piles of puppy hair I was expecting when I returned. When I looked around, hardly a hair was in sight! Thanks so much to Jennifer for making my return so welcoming. So happy I got to meet her and would definitely invite her to come back and sit again.

Catherine was an amazing house and pet sitter, and would gladly host her again! She was great with Giuseppe and. Cleo, very communicative and responsive, left the house cleaner than when she came, and even made an amazing sweet potato, lentil and rice dish that she left in the fridge in storage containers. Thanks for taking such great care of the pets and house!

Robin was a pleasure to meet, and took perfect care of our pups and home. We know 4 bulldogs can be a bit challenging but they took to her immediately and she apparently handled them in stride. Communication to us via text and photos of the pups was timely and thorough. She left our home better than she found it which was much appreciated. We would welcome Robin back to our home any time and wish her the best in her travels.
