Home owners Keeley and Sam have a cozy house in a quiet neighborhood, where the paved streets and relativity low traffic make for good walks with Dre. Dre is such a good boy. He sits down patiently for his leash to get put on and responds to commands to sit. He's so loving. On walks he is energetic and excited to sniff all the bushes and new things he finds, but he responds to commands to "come." Arya likes to stay close by to see what we're doing, and she sweetly fell asleep in my husband's lap. She pushes her head against you when she wants attention. Very cute pets in a serene neighborhood. Thank you Keeley and Sam! -Tara & Michael
I sat for Hugo at his English residence in Sawbridgeworth. Hugo is an absolute darling, very sweet natured, friendly and easy to care for and quite a lapful when he comes up for a cuddle. He creates a lot of attention when you take him out, as everyone says 'oh what a lovely dog' and wants to fuss him (which he will accept all day long) Sawbridgeworth is a great area, very quintessentially English village, lots of footpaths and walking places, right by the river, with its narrowboats and locks. I would recommend this sit.
Don & Linda were very welcoming and communicated quickly throughout the stay. A beautiful and relaxing home, we enjoyed being close to the beach and the pool! Mickey and Lil are 2 very sweet and adventurous kitties. They know their schedule and enjoyed wandering in and out of the house during the day chasing bugs and napping. We would definitely sit again, thanks!
Brian and Faolan have a lovely home with lots of scope for long walks and peaceful countryside. Brian’s communication was great from the start and he was quick setting me up with Wi-Fi and how the house works. Faolan is the sweetest happiest dog, very well trained and loves company. He asks very gently for cuddles and food, and even has a little bell by the back door that he rings when he wants to go out! Must be on the lead, but he’s easy to manage with one hand and understands what to do. Had a lovely time, thanks for having me!
Shortly I'll be back with the trio, so I may have more perceptive notes to add after another two week stay - but for now I would say they're a fun rambunctious crowd who adore their outdoor independence. While also showing plenty of sociable, sweet affectionate behaviour when inside! Wade's beautiful house and garden seem to really bring out the outdoor/indoor duality of these housecats. Sometimes a whole day would go by while Gateau roamed the hillside! Neko and Muffin would need to be gently grabbed at "coming in" time each day, but were very docile about it. To me I understood their desire to enjoy the good weather and the fresh air and would give them the longest opportunity possible to do so. All of the house instructions were straightforward, everything worked, all comforts provided. Would sit again and I am doing so!
Amy and Greg are lovely. We were able to meet them before their trip and they were kind and made sure we felt very welcome. They have the sweetest animals. Rio is the calmest and friendliest dog. Would be happy to housesit for them again!
